Your Hidden Strengths — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! I have a psychic tarot reading today on your hidden strengths. These are talents you can leverage to your advantage in life.
To receive your message from the universe, pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Wild Unknown Tarot deck. Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to see what hidden strengths you have.
Pile 1: Grandfather Clock

Don’t Diminish Your Worth
You have a lot of wonderful interests that can translate into hobbies or skills. The Nine of Pentacles is a sign that these need to be something you enjoy, perhaps even when alone. However, to leverage this strength, you need to recognize that the Son of Pentacles calls you to action.
You may not have realized the full height of this strength due to the Two of Wands, Reversed. Your thinking is restricted instead of open. Perhaps you only see this interest as a way to have fun, or you have an interest, but you aren’t exploring it fully.
People who game, for instance, tend to have excellent problem-solving abilities. They can troubleshoot issues and try many different iterations until they find something that works. Alternatively, they can also make this skill into a more direct strength like game design or streaming let’s plays.
Any hobby or interest you have can be leveraged as a strength either directly or indirectly. Don’t think less of where your attention drifts toward in your free time. It has value. Just because you have fun with it doesn’t mean it’s not also useful!
Anything Is Valuable
Sometimes people approach their strengths from what they think they should have instead of what they actually have. Take some time to write down what you do each day will be revealing. Perhaps you spend hours reading fan fiction or you knit up a storm.
Regardless, knowing where you spend your time will help you know where you can be in a flow state. Flow states are mental states where you can work with joy and fulfillment. You might even lose track of time or wish you had more time available to you.
Once you have at least one interest, go ahead and search up how that trait would be considered a strength. You can use ChatGPT if you need more tailored assistance.
But let’s go back to knitting since you may not know how that can be leveraged as a strength and would like an example. Yes, you could knit to make money or knit gifts for people you love. However, knitters are patient, detail-oriented, and have excellent hand-eye coordination. Those are amazing skills!
This could translate into a managerial job, anything that requires a lot of attention, or even a hands-on trade like mechanics. Your different interests and temperament may make some possibilities less likely, but you do have more options as a knitter than just knitting.
So yes – all your interests are valuable because they have crossover skills that can be leveraged in other forms.
Why This Is Hidden
I touched on this before, but the reason why you don’t recognize what is clearly a strength you have is that you don’t know how to do it publicly. Perhaps you prefer doing this strength only for fun or you’ve never considered how to make it work for you.
To be honest, not everyone wants to use all their strengths all the time. It’s important to look at your time inventory and consider if using that strength outside of a restorative hobby is even appropriate for you.
I see this often with creatives. While they can transfer this skill into many other careers, using that creativity for other people makes it too professional. When they have free time, they aren’t interested in creating for leisure or personal projects. It’s too close to work!
So if you do recognize a hidden strength, make sure the way you manifest it publicly doesn’t detract from your own needed leisure. If it does, consider skipping it or approaching it in a different way.
For example, a memoirist may not want to be a journalist as their day job because they don’t want to use up their inspiration for stories. But they might enjoy being a librarian – their attention to detail and love for books are appropriately applied without detracting from their hobby.
So be mindful, but know the strengths you have are there in your interests.

Pile 2: Girl and Dragon in Bottle

Spiritual Practice
There’s a lot of contemplative energy to your spread. It seems as if the Five of Pentacles is referencing a connection to spirituality that you haven’t been able to capitalize upon. When I say capitalize, I mean in it in the literal sense of business, but also in a more social or communal sense.
You don’t know how to translate this contemplative strength yet. The Mother of Wands, Reversed and the Son of Cups, Reversed shows some discomfort with intimate relationships in a spiritual setting. You’d feel like someone was interfering with your spirituality if they got too close.
So, in essence, your hidden strength, contemplation, is hidden because you prefer it that way. But let’s discuss in this spread how you could open up if you wanted to without making your personal contemplative practice miserable.
The Quiet Ones Are Loud, Actually
So what is contemplation? It’s deep, reflective thought. To put it into spiritual context, imagine a nun who lives at a convent and spends many hours each day studying the Bible or creating spiritually-inspired works. She may not prefer being the sort of nun that works in the community because it detracts from that deep, reflective thought.
Your hidden strength works much the same way. Even if you love being around other people, your contemplative strength can’t meet its full promise in mass social situations on a regular basis. I imagine this is why some people turn away from organized religion even though they’re actually quite spiritual themselves. Those who still remain in organized settings still have their own independent contemplative practice outside that social situation.
How you use your hidden strength isn’t just by isolating yourself and never interacting with anyone ever again. But to recognize that you need to use contemplation to analyze spiritual truths and then produce something of value to show other people.
Some contemplative thinkers write amazing books on spirituality, like Aquinas in the middle ages. Others, like Tolkien, are so creative that they write spiritually-inspired fictional works.
You can be as direct or indirect with your contemplative production as you want. Just know that being spiritually active in some private manner will allow you to process deep, reflective thoughts that will inspire you to create or do something in the world.
Some Things to Remember
Now I do want to address some of the difficulties I see in your spread. The Five of Pentacles means you’ll struggle to make money if you have that as your goal – make sure you always have a higher purpose you’re striving for. Tolkien wanted to create a mythology for the English people, not earn a fortune from his books. He would’ve initially picked a different genre if money had been his goal.
The Queen of Wands, Reversed is a sign you may struggle with pseudo-nurturing figures. That would be like a nun who would argue with her superiors in the church who are trying to control her behavior.
The Son of Cups, Reversed means you’ll struggle with some level of creative block, but that can be mitigated when you seek spiritual communion through consistent practice. Your inspiration can’t just come from you. It needs to come from the divine, and you need that relationship through spiritual contemplation.
Overall, I like your spread because it’s very specific – perhaps because people who choose to read my pick a cards tend to be spiritual. That said, this hidden strength of contemplation is likely just one of many strengths you have and it can take up a small or large amount of time in your life. Just make sure you have some sort of consistent, contemplative practice.
Common contemplative practices include: meditation, scripture, journaling, visualization, prayer, breathwork, and creativity. Short practices for a few minutes each day a few times per week are good enough. But if you like to binge on contemplation, it should at least be once or twice a month in a longer session at least an hour long.

Pile 3: Book Stack

A Savvy Mind
You’re hidden strength is that you’re able to analyze problems correctly and find solutions. The Judgement, Reversed could be a sign you do this in your life, but I think you can apply it to others if given the opportunity. The Mother of Swords is you providing rational advice to those who would benefit, while the Eight of Swords is creating systems for people to follow.
The one thing you need to remember is that not everyone wants advice, and not all situations are appropriate to give advice for. This may be why your strength is hidden because you used it in one of these situations and received a very negative response – so you don’t think you have good advice or that people are willing to hear.
A common example men face is that their female relationships often seek emotional comfort instead of solutions to problems they have in their lives outside of the home. This is because they don’t see the men as being able to fix the problems they have at work or among their friends since they can’t be present in those situations with her. So instead, when they complain about their evil boss, what they want to hear is, “I understand you! He’s a demon!”
Your goal to tap into your hidden strength is to determine what particular subjects and environment you should be providing this advice in.
Know How to Interface
First, there are specific times when your advice is requested. Instead of just complaining about their lives, your relationships will say something like “My boss is awful. I don’t know what to do. Do you have any ideas?” A specific request has been made and that’s your opening.
In your private life, never give advice unless specifically asked. If you think someone is doing something wrong and it can be corrected, you can ask if they want your advice. Most people are more receptive to good advice when it’s offered instead of given without invitation.
Your hidden skill can be used in a public way, however. These tend to be in service-oriented or charitable roles. Think therapist, counselor, tarot reader, coach, doctor, and so on.
There’s a level of interpersonal skill you have, but you need to recognize how that should be done.
Introverts tend to prefer one-on-one situations like therapy while more extroverted people are happy in a teaching role in front of a crowd. There are exceptions of course.
Consider your personality and temperament when it comes to delivering advice. That matters too.
Can Be Used Anywhere
You don’t have to make this hidden strength the focal point of your life if you don’t want to. Say someone is a line worker and they’re primarily in the field doing maintenance on power lines.
They may use their hidden strength of giving excellent advice to create a series of tiktoks on what to do if there’s a power outage or fallen lines. Or maybe they’re excellent at cooking their mother’s recipes and share that.
Perhaps an office worker wants to take on a mentorship role and orient interns and new employees. It’s not what they do most of the time, but when someone is sent their way, they know their hidden strength will be utilized.
My recommendation here is to recognize you give good advice and be willing to provide it wherever it seems natural for you, part-time or full-time. And also be aware that you’re probably not an expert in all topics. The line worker may be terrible at managing relationships and the office worker could be an absolute terror on the road. Teaching their teenager to drive would probably lead to a lot of tears and trauma.
But this is a pretty versatile skill that can be used in any job, hobby, or relationship provided you have some basic competency there. If you learn how to do something, you’d also be much better and giving advice on that later on than the average person. So your hidden strength is good advice in general, but it needs to be on something you’re competent in first.
You should be proud that you’re able to provide such objective and good advice to those who might need it.
