Banish Career Negativity: Tarot Pick a Card

Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic reading on how to banish negativity in your career. Consider this a way to cleanse some of that bad luck on the job.

All you have to do is pick the pile that sticks out to you the most. Which animal inspires your intuition? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading.

Pile 1: Bear

Hard Healing

It seems as if a spirit guide will be spending more time to protect you. The first card in your spread, Medicine Guardian, has the wisdom message of “Be Open to Healing Information.” Their primary guidance will come through healing lessons or revelations.

I see this as a very passive spread. What that means is that it’s your spirit guide doing all the heavy lifting, not you. You’re not required to do anything other than be receptive to their healing.

That’s not to say they won’t affect your future actions. Your Medicine Guardian appears to be a protective spirit guide, perhaps even an angel, and their job is to get you to heal so you can exist peacefully at work again.

Know medicine can sometimes be bitter or even have side effects. So while their healing will help you, it may be a bit hard to swallow.

Things Must Change

You’re going to need to suspend your desire to control everything. The second card in your spread, Sky Father, has the wisdom message of “Trust in the Unknown.” Your protective spirit needs you to trust them even when it seems like their actions and intentions are mysterious.

I’ve noticed with career negativity that people are often blind to it in some way. Perhaps they’re in denial about their devious coworkers or they haven’t yet accepted that their current position is a bad fit for them.

Be aware that you’re kind of stuck in your thinking right now. That doesn’t mean it’s your fault there’s negativity – quite the contrary. Jobs that are a bad fit don’t necessarily have to be miserable. As long as the work is not immoral and the coworkers are decent people, any job should be satisfactory and fulfilling in the short term.

Whatever the origin of your negativity is, it’s something you haven’t quite accepted yet so you need to be willing to heal and learn that lesson.

Taking Action

Your final card is Arrow with the wisdom message of “Surround Yourself with Protective Energy.” Normally with this card, I suggest protective charms or cleansing. And that still applies here: if you can carry a good luck charm with you to work or perform some sort of ritual to cleanse the space like saging – do so.

But this time I see yourself being spiritually armed by your protective spirit guide. Be open to them following you to work. Accept and feel their presence as you do your job. They’re about to go to war for you and I think you’re going to see some changes when it comes to your work life.

Perhaps they’ll empower you to stand up for yourself against bad coworkers or customers. Or maybe they’ll help you to do a better job. Some may find themselves looking for new work that’s a better fit.

Regardless, this protective spirit guide is going to take action and you’ll feel their energy within and around you.

There’s a lot of applied beauty and expertise in your spread. The first card, Shapeshifter, has the wisdom message of “Transform and Unveil Your Gifts.” For some in this spread, this indicates you’re in a creative field, and for others, it shows a personal passion.

But for everyone, what this card is saying is that you’re going to be tapping into your talents, some even their spiritual gifts, to elevate your work experience.

There are a lot of animals on this card, and because of the name, Shapeshifter, I expect that you’ll call upon many talents. Some will be your best ones and others neglected ones or those you aren’t an expert in yet.

That’s because to banish career negativity in your life right now requires a broad approach. Normal methods won’t be sufficient and you’ll need to use everything you have, even things that don’t seem related, to change your career experience into a more positive one.

Luckily you’ve got a lot of hidden gifts to help you with that – and you might even discover some new ones!

Hold Still

Don’t make any radical career changes right now, even if that’s your eventual plan. The second card in your spread, Druid, has the wisdom message of “Hold the Space.”

Consider your work right now a rough draft that you’re either practicing with or trying to refine. You need to apply your broad level of talent to make the most of a difficult situation.

But let’s not beat around the bush here. If work is difficult right now, it’s not going to be easy to stay where you are. That means you need to have a plan of action to decompress from what’s stressful on the job after work.

Even when things are devoid of negativity, you’re still going to be tired from using all your many talents.

Rest is crucial for you. Tend to yourself and tend to your body.

And know that this holding the space period is very temporary. It’s a bit like doing a difficult project. In the moment it’s a trial, but there’s a finish line at the end of all this.

You know when the hero in a movie is in a training montage? That’s you right now. The final card in your spread, Shaolin Master, has the wisdom message of “Be Graceful in Movement and Action.”

It’ll seem like you aren’t having any wins right now, but like a training montage, you’re progressing in abilities. Once you cross a threshold of mastery, you’ll suddenly find yourself better than anyone else.

Whatever your current plans are, know that you’re meant for more. The first card in your spread, Sage, has the wisdom message of “Be Devoted and Committed.” At first glance, this seems to suggest you need to brave your current negativity and wait for things to get better.

And perhaps that’s appropriate in your situation in the moment. However, your spread has a greater meaning so I take this card to mean that you need to be devoted and committed not to your current job, but to your future goals.

It’s time to ask yourself if what you’re doing is relevant or gets you to relevancy towards your higher purpose. If yes, then weathering the storm is just one step to get to where you need to be. But if not, know that your current career negativity is a sign you should be making changes.

Purpose motivates someone. If you don’t feel like you’re currently aligned with your purpose, you won’t want to handle your current career negativity because you aren’t meant to. So first, figure out whether your current negativity is worth fighting through or not.

See Your Job as Personally Meaningful

It’s also time to understand that devotion is an emotional choice. Your second card, Fire Guardian, has the wisdom message of “Ignite Your Passion.”

A spirit guide or muse that empowers your personal gifts wants you to feel on fire for your job. Now that could be the job you’re currently in or some aspect of it. A person who really hates serving in a restaurant but still has a passion for people can use their job as an opportunity to interact with customers and improve their social skills.

This is what you need to do right now. Place a greater weight on your passions, even with your current limitations. And if your job is really out of alignment with that, it’s time to look for a job that would match that passion.

Perhaps that waiter is really good at selling and wants to help the environment. They’d probably be an excellent fundraiser for a charity.

What’s your higher purpose or dream? The final card in your spread, Stargazer, has the wisdom message of “Set Your Sights Higher.”

Some astronauts have gone on to train other astronauts or communicate about space exploration to the public.

So whatever your current or future achievement is, make sure to frame your higher purpose in an action that can be revised for different life circumstances or redirections as you’re inspired to do so.
