1 Year From Now — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic tarot reading on where you’ll be one year from now. That way you can either eagerly look forward to it or make some changes to alter your future.
All you have to do to receive this message is pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Psychic Tarot Oracle deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to see where you’ll be one year from now.
Pile 1: Alpaca
Prepare Yourself
There’s going to be an important wisdom you need to learn over the next year. Because of the first two cards, this is likely to be a difficult lesson, so let’s see if we can prevent that from even occurring.
The first card, Heartache & Loss, indicates you’re going to lose something important. This could be a relationship or the result of a decision you make that you ultimately regret.
Because of the second card, there’s a possibility whatever causes this heartache is either in the process of occurring or hasn’t yet occurred.
My recommendation is to be mindful and not willfully blind to the relationships or decisions you’re making. Chances are, this heartache would be as the result of what you should have seen coming, but told yourself it would never happen to you.
A Bad Person
Someone is acting strategically against you. The second card, Deception & Envy, indicates a person or persons are deceiving you to take advantage of you.
Relationship-wise, this could mean someone is keeping their activities a secret or straight up lying to you. While this could indicate cheating, I want you to be aware the strong sword and thought energy in this spread indicates acquaintances or coworkers rather than a romantic relationship.
It could be someone trying to get your partner to cheat and not your partner itself. The envy portion of the card strongly indicates that there’s someone outside your intimate circle who is looking upon your life and wanting to take from you rather than someone in your midst betraying you.
Be very aware of anyone who seems too good to be true among your social network and try to find out from shared connections what they really think of you. They’re using your growing connection to them to hide their devious intentions.
You’re Actually Clever
The last card, Wisdom, means that no matter what happens, you’ll come out in a better position than before. That doesn’t mean you don’t suffer a loss if you can’t prevent it, but the knowledge you gain will serve as a powerful lesson to help you avoid even worse deceptions in the future.
But remember: this is something you can prevent or lessen today.
It seems like you’re willfully blinding yourself to evidence that would show the opposite of what’s on the surface. You need to look deeper and vet people more carefully. The vast majority of people are good, or, at worst, ambivalent, but those who are sinister always leave signs in their wake.
If something feels off, no matter what they say, there probably is something amiss. Trust, but verify. And if they fail that verification, don’t give them power over you to break your heart.

The Illusion of Being Trapped
You’re going to be frustrated a year from now and feel stuck. The good news is that you’re going to find a way out. But let’s see if we can get you out of that quagmire sooner.
The first card, Trapped in Fear, shows that someone or a system is making you believe you’re more powerless than you are. This happens when the prison keeper has soft power instead of hard power or doesn’t want you to know there’s a way out if you keep looking.
The terror is meant to paralyze you.
This could come in the form of an abusive relationship, but it could also be something as simple as a mad professor that makes their terrible behavior obvious in the first week. You could leave their class before the drop period ends! But they won’t let you think that’s possible. They’ll make you think they’re the only option.
That’s the trick with fear. As much as you’re terrorized, you’re also led to believe the prison keeper is also you’re savior. They’re not. The sooner you realize it, like now, the sooner you’re free.
Look Beyond the Obvious
The second card in your spread is Authority. This person is positioned over you in some way or is even an overreaching system, like the economy or government.
But most authority figures can be removed or a different system can be entered. Let’s use some examples.
Imagine you’re in an authoritarian family. Upon adulthood, you can leave the influence of an authoritarian parent and strike out on your own. For some it’s simply moving out, for others, it’s going no contact.
Perhaps the authority figure is debt. You’re living in fear of never being able to pay it off. But there are ways: bankruptcy, loan forgiveness programs, budgeting, refinancing, looking for a better job, and et cetera. But you’re too scared to look. You think you’re stuck forever.
That’s what fear does: it causes you to not even look for alternatives.
But there are alternatives.
Help Is Out There
Your final card is Partnerships & Alliances. Sometimes the best way to oust an authority is to not do it alone. No revolution can succeed without multiple people agreeing to participate.
Imagine you live in an authoritarian household – perhaps you could move out with a sibling or even with a friend to rent an apartment together. Or, if you’re in debt, you could ask a loved one for assistance or even help finding a new job.
You can’t do it alone. Or, if you can, you don’t have to do it alone. Fighting the oppressive authority in your life will be easier if you have a partner or seek out assistance.
Chances are, someone has experienced what you have and are either willing to help you individually or created a system to help people like you.
Seeking out these resources will be the beginning of changing your life.
And if you’re feeling this authority now oppressing you… why wait? Seek assistance as soon as possible. The fear you’re feeling doesn’t have to persist.

Things Won’t Always Be the Same
I think you’re going to be in a good position a year from now, but you’re liable to rest on your laurels and stall future progress. I don’t blame you: when things get comfortable, it’s nice to just relax.
The Triumph card is a clear sign that you’re going to succeed in something that matters and receive recognition for that success. It’s well-deserved.
But humans experience something called the hedonic treadmill. As time goes on, your feelings of joy over something you achieved or bought fades back to your normal baseline contentment.
Knowing this now can help you to be prepared for what to do next. Because there’s always a next.
Be Okay With Change
The second card, Moving On, could easily be interpreted as letting go of your triumph. I’m choosing not to read it that way because of the third card in your spread. Instead, see this card as permission to do the next thing that excites you. You’re not a one-trick pony.
It’s not uncommon for people to have a major goal, perhaps even a life purpose, and achieve it early in life. They then wonder what’s next for them.
Perhaps the universe will give you another life purpose or it’s something you get to choose. It doesn’t matter for your spread which. However, you should learn to be okay with the idea that any success you feel is temporary. Not because your success isn’t enjoyable, but because the journey is more important.
See every milestone in your life as a step in your journey instead of a final destination. You don’t have to plan out your entire future in advance, just be okay with setting new plans once you achieve what you set out to do.
Your Life Will Be Generally Better
It’s clear with the third card, Firm Foundation, that your triumph isn’t a temporary thing. Success doesn’t mean what you achieve doesn’t leave a mark and that’s very clear in your spread.
Whatever triumph you encounter, it will forever alter the foundation of your life going forward and even inform what future plans you might make.
A person who dreams of being a singer, and achieves it, may find that their next goal is to become a producer.
Your triumph makes a future possible that you didn’t even consider before. And that, in itself, is something to celebrate.
There is always possibility. There is always a reason for you to be excited about what’s next. Life can and should get better as you age.
It’s not about changing one dream for another – it’s about building on a success or tower of dreams.
