You’re going to overcome a temptation according to The Devil, Reversed. I see three possible interpretations here. The most likely one relates to a relationship. For those who have a significant other, you may be tempted by a flirtatious person.

That temptation may be physical, but it could also be emotional. Remember that all relationships go through challenges and temptation is usually a sign that something has broken down – but you can and will fix it.

The second most likely interpretation deals with an addiction or desire to give into your worst instincts. You’ll likely struggle with it for months leading up to the moment you finally overcome it. To do so, willpower is necessary and belief in what you can achieve.

The third interpretation is supernatural and may only apply to a few who pick this pile. You may have contacted an evil spirit or have fallen under a curse – but you’re going to break that negative spiritual connection and feel at peace again.

Fire in the Heart

The Queen of Inspiration, Reversed is someone who’s misdirected passion harms you. If it’s another person, then you’re likely dealing with the temptation to cheat. In that case, this Queen of Inspiration does not love you like you think but is instead willing to burn the world to get what they want.

Don’t be surprised if they try to ruin your relationship with your significant other so you have no choice but to turn to them. Don’t give this person power over you. They’re more shallow than you think.

It’s possible this Queen of Inspiration is a witch who cast a curse or an evil spirit. You’ll need to counteract their negative energy with positive energy like blessings, white magick, and other protective spiritual activities.

However, let’s not forget that this misdirected passion could be you struggling with your desire to do something you shouldn’t. Just like the flirtatious woman, this temptation can consume and trick you into thinking it’s good. Don’t fall for it.

Always ask yourself if something you’re doing has a worse consequence later. It’s not worth it if that’s true. Focus on that so you can say no.

Check Your Path

The final card is The Lovers, Reversed. For those dealing with a cheating situation, giving into the Queen of Inspiration will lead to your relationship ending. There will be a part of you that thinks it’s worth it, but the other cards in this spread indicate the Queen of Inspiration isn’t a good person and worth losing a relationship over.

But this card can also indicate a lack of enthusiasm and commitment to life. Whether you’re dealing with negative energy or struggling with an addiction, you’ll know your life is disordered when you feel as if you aren’t in love with your life.

That’s not to say life will be perfect, but that you should feel excited about your future and a willing participant in your destiny. When you don’t feel that way, it’s because The Devil and Queen of Inspiration, Reversed energy has won.

For Whom the Bell Tolls

Something unjust may happen to you because of the Justice, Reversed card. The good news is that the rest of your spread indicates a recovery from this injustice, so I’ll focus on potentially preventing the injustice from occurring or leaning into the recovery should it happen.

I don’t see a definitive description of the injustice you’ll face, but it does seem as if you’ll be required to take on more responsibilities because of it.

My guess is that it could be a financial problem, pressure at work or at home, or something amiss in your relationships. I don’t see any of that specifically in your cards, but those seem like the logical possibilities.

My recommendation for you is to look at your life right now and ask yourself where you’re most vulnerable, but at the same time able to take responsibility. That is likely where you’ll be hit from and if you pay attention to it now, you may avoid it all together.

Assistance From Someone Else

Someone is going to intervene on your behalf. This person is The Emperor and it means someone in a position of authority, who is highly skilled, or an older male figure in your life.

But the way they help won’t be total intercession. Instead of giving you fish, they’ll teach you how to fish.

You’ll be frustrated by this assistance, especially since the injustice you’ll face wasn’t earned, but it’ll be better for you in the end.

After all, the very reason you faced injustice is that you’re not in an advantageous situation. The Emperor empowering you with advice or instruction will give you lasting benefits that you can control.

So don’t look a gift horse in the mouth just because their gift isn’t tangible, but is instead instruction. It’ll be more difficult than just having the emperor do something for you, but what you need is control. Being empowered by this advice gives you autonomy.

Your Weakness Is An Advantage

You’re going to take on some burdens due to the Ten of Inspiration card. But while difficult, those burdens don’t necessarily have to be a bad thing.

Poor people who have a surprise baby have lives that are materially harder – yet most would consider it more meaningful and it gives them a purpose to frame their lives around.

This is similar in your case. Instead of suffering being your purpose, a path out of that suffering and to something that matters will be given to you instead. Your job is to take up the advice from the emperor and use it to your advantage. Pick your struggle, because then, you pick your life quest.

Creative Block

You’re going to face a creative or motivation block six months from now. The Knight of Inspiration, Reversed signals that you won’t be as excited about life or your creative projects. New passions or the desire to approach passions won’t occur to you.

There are many possible reasons this could happen. Perhaps you’ll be under a lot of stress in some area of life, you’re just busy and don’t have time to do it (but aren’t otherwise unhappy), or you aren’t receiving enough stimulation and are numb about life.

I’ll use the example of a novelist throughout your pile to describe how to overcome this block. Imagine a genre romance novelist. They’re used to writing specific tropes and storylines. Like a good author, they also read voraciously in their genre. But their new story feels stale and they don’t want to continue writing.

Regardless of the origin of that staleness, the fix requires doing new things. That’s because you’ll be in a rut and the same tools you were using before aren’t sufficient.

Think Outside the Box

You’re going to be tempted to go back to what you know. The Six of Voices, Reversed is about an unhealthy return. You’ll seek what’s comfortable because you wrongly assume that the past can be repeated.

However, you’ve either outgrown this method or it just no longer applies. Every day, you grow and change as a person, meaning how you live will need to change to accommodate that transformation.

The romance genre novelist will not write an amazing new story if they only read books in their genre. Why? Because then they’ll only encounter their narrow world. They might be a master of the techniques and applications of that narrow world, but sometimes, you need a fresh idea if you want to create something new.

That’s why good writers read outside their field, fiction and nonfiction, to encounter new ways of thinking. Maybe it’s normal for a romance author to have a heroine be a baker, but maybe being an engineer would create exciting new storylines.
