Love can be complicated and confusing. But with this tarot pick a card, you can use your intuition to find the message from the universe that will give some insight into your romantic life.

Then, after you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Golden Art Nouveau Tarot. Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s reveal your love life.
Pile 1: Engagement Ring
Your Relationship Is Entering a New Phase
So much of your reading is you, them, and the opportunity you share. Your third card, the Page of Pentacles, features a youth holding a large coin in his hands. His expression is pensive and his surroundings lush. Do you see the dandelion clocks at his feet? This is my favorite flower even though it’s a weed because you can blow the seeds and make a wish.
Whether you’re single or in a relationship, there’s a lot of untapped potential. For those of you who are in a relationship, understand that there’s still more you can do together. Because of the other two cards in your spread, I do think there isn’t enough of a material connection to bond you. Try pursuing a hobby or financial opportunity together.
As for my singles, you may find that a new romance is most likely to be found at work, a networking event, or a passionate hobby. Make sure to keep your eyes open for someone you’re attracted to in these locations.
I believe that the King of Cups represents the more masculine energy in the relationship and The High Priestess the feminine. However, what’s interesting about these cards is the gender non-conforming aspects of them.
The King of Cups is visibly emotional and not the masculine stoic most media portrays men as while The High Priestess is the clever enigma we more commonly associate with tech moguls. This creates a balance that can bond those in a relationship and attract those who are single to each other.
This is a matter of temperament more than interest, so be aware that your person may have hobbies or personality quirks that can be challenging. Even so, this shared current of temperament will allow you to see life from your partner’s perspective.
I don’t sense any challenges in your spread. That’s not because there aren’t challenges, but more so that there’s something very strong in the integrity of your love life right now. Recognizing this shared commonality will do more to start or maintain a relationship than knowing about future misfortunes or disagreements.
Understand Who You Are
It’s not clear in your reading whether you might be the King of Cups or The High Priestess. Likely, this differs for each reader. But whether you see yourself as an extroverted, merry dreamer (King of Cups) or an introverted, mysterious spiritualist will determine how you should take the advice of this reading.
Those who identify as the King of Cups should be aware that they may be overbearing to potential partners. That’s not because how you act is wrong, but that you have so much energy that directing it to any one person, especially an introvert, is likely to fray some nerves. However, your expressive emotion will go a long way to show your partner you care for them. That’s appreciated. You just need to find a happy balance.
As for those who identify as The High Priestess, you’re very interesting, but you keep so much of yourself a secret. Enigmas are interesting because something remains unknown and so it becomes a fun project to discover more about them. I don’t think you’re someone who doesn’t grow and evolve, so don’t be afraid to share who you are with your partner. They want to love you, but the more you keep a secret, the more they’ll feel you aren’t actually interested in them.
Sharing who you are, including your thoughts and feelings, allows your more emotional partner to feel as if you’re truly connected.

Pile 2: Locked Heart
You’re Doing Your Own Thing
With your first card being The Hermit, I sense that you’re isolating yourself romantically. If you’re single, you can probably feel this acutely. Perhaps you’ve chosen to step back from dating or it’s something that has just happened to turn out that way.
However, those who are in a relationship shouldn’t make the mistake of assuming your connection is socially strong. I’m an introvert and I know all too well what it means to pull away from others. Even though I may be physically present, my mind or heart isn’t all there.
Interestingly, I don’t sense that singles or those in a relationship necessarily want to be isolated. Rather, you’re choosing to focus on something else. This is likely to be because of school, a career, or a hobby. The prioritization may make logical sense right now, but be aware someone you’re in a relationship with (or who is crushing on you) may not see it that way.
You’re Not Fighting For or Against Love
The next card in your spread, the Five of Wands, Reversed, suggests your romantic passion isn’t truly there. Your focus on other things has pulled your heart away.
But, and I think this is really key for you to understand, you aren’t antagonistic towards romance. Perhaps you’re single and willing to enter a relationship if the right person comes along or, if you’re in a relationship, you truly love your partner.
Yet the energy and passion aren’t there to keep things interesting for another person. You aren’t participating as much as you should. That doesn’t mean allowing your other priorities to drop, but you should pencil time in every day or each week to spend it with a partner or go out on a date.
Having a running text message or chat may also be a good way to check in throughout the day and stay connected too. Connecting with your partner can be more casual and doesn’t have to be a grand romantic gesture.
You’re in Bloom
The last card in your spread, the Queen of Pentacles, is very good news. Despite the negative message of your previous cards, this one promises a healthy balance. She’s known as the “working mother” card and I think it’s an apt symbol of how you can evolve.
Yes, we only have so many hours in our day and we do need to spend more time on certain tasks during particular periods of our lives. But this card doesn’t represent the frantic working mother who sacrifices everything for her kids and has nothing left for herself.
See the serious expression on her face? She’s more than capable of doing what she sets out to do and she isn’t one for pointless busywork. Make sure in your prioritization that you aren’t doing unnecessary things. For example, an artist may think they need to sketch for hours every day even at the expense of their marriage. But wouldn’t focused, deliberate practice for just an hour a day on a particular point of anatomy be more effective than hours of unfocused sketching?
There’s more potential for romance in your life than you see right now. Cut out that which only makes you busy so your priorities better align with the life you want.

Pile 3: Love Clock
Someone or Something Is Stuck in the Middle
Ah, this is a complex reading. For most of you, the more banal reading is yours and that’s this: the Three of Pentacles suggests you’re allowing yourself to be distracted in romance. But for a minority of you, it’s this: someone is cheating.
Understand that the energy of your reading is that something is in the way. For those of you who are single, you’re likely facing some sort of obstacle to entering a relationship. This obstacle exists because there’s too much going on in your life for you to feel comfortable devoting time and effort to a relationship.
As for those who are in a relationship, work is likely to be the biggest interloper, but chores around the house or a religious commitment could also be the source of your obstacle.
You too could be the obstacle in your relationship.
No matter how you identify in this reading, realize that your situation is a bit of a quagmire right now and it’s likely you don’t know how to escape it effectively. So let’s find out what you can do.
Where’s the Passion?
Your first card is the Knight of Wands, Reversed. You’ve probably put a lot of thought or effort into your relationship if you’re committed, but sometimes that effort isn’t adequately applied. A good example of this is loving your partner more than your stage of the relationship calls for. Or not loving them enough.
I sense for those in a relationship that you aren’t on the same page right now. You need to check in and set some guidelines on when you’ll go out (or in) on a date, how often you’ll have sex, and what are your expectations of each other.
As for those who are single, you should check in with yourself and figure out if you’re looking for the right person for you right now. The reason why you may be having trouble securing a partner is that you aren’t sure what you should be looking for in the first place, so you don’t put your heart into it.
It’s an Emotionally Sensitive Time
The energy of your spread suggests that things may be emotionally painful. Your second card, the Knight of Cups, Reversed, indicates that the romantic fantasy is over and disappointment has emerged. For those who are dealing with a cheating scandal, you’ll need to consider whether the relationship is worth salvaging.
As for those who have an otherwise committed partner, there seems to be some sort of wound festering in your relationship. Your idealistic views of each other have been shot down, and the honeymoon period is over. Now, more than ever, you need to emotionally connect and make things exciting again. Try new things in the bedroom or go out on a different type of date to spice up your chemistry.
For my singles out there, you may or may not be ready to enter into a relationship. The obstacle preventing you from entering a relationship may be upsetting you more than you realized. It’s okay to take a break for a few weeks or even a few months just to emotionally recover.
Once you do, make sure that you’re sticking to your values with whomever you meet. You won’t be able to emotionally accept a partner who doesn’t meet your standards – just make sure you have reasonable standards and would share chemistry with that type of person.
