Who’s Thinking About You? — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! I have a psychic tarot reading today on the identity of the person who’s thinking about you.
To receive your message from the universe, pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Golden Art Nouveau Tarot deck. Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s find out who has you in their thoughts.
Pile 1: Frog

Who This Person Is
Someone is going to return to you. The High Priestess means this person is very intuitive and gets the sense that you would be receptive to their return.
Because this isn’t necessarily a romantic card, it may not be an ex but perhaps a former friend or acquaintance. You may have become distant with them or even had a fallout, but wouldn’t mind reconnecting with them.
The Eight of Cups, Reversed is an emotional return and the Ten of Wands, Reversed could be a sign that whatever was bothering them before is no longer on their mind.
So if this person dropped out of your life because of their own issues, those issues are now resolving and they want to return to your social circle.
Should You Accept Them?
The spread doesn’t make it clear whether or not this person is good news for you, but I do get a selfish aura from them.
The reason I say this is that the eight of cups suggests they didn’t learn anything or transform and are expecting you to be there now that the stressors of their life that dropped given the ten of wands card.
If this is a person whom you have a casual, but not parasitic relationship, this may not bother you. After all, people have stressors, and as long as they aren’t hurting you, it makes sense for them to bow out on occasion to tend to them. We can’t expect the people in our lives to be available all the time.
However, if this is someone you have a more intimate or close relationship with you, may find that they only come around when it benefits them and don’t extend you the same courtesy. That’s just not fair in my view.
More About Them
Because of the high priestess card, this person assumes they’re very intuitive and that may be right. On the other hand, they may be making assumptions that aren’t accurate. We’ve all met people like that. If you think this is that person, then prepare yourself for a relationship where this person is rewriting reality and perhaps even gaslighting you.
An alternative possibility is that they’re very occult or using the occult to manifest what they want in life. This could be innocent and friendly in the manner of using divination to see if you’re ready to reconnect. It could also be a dark approach like manipulative spells.
Never assume someone is using the occult against you unless you know they’re into the darker paths (it’s pretty rare due to the Christian and Wiccan influence on modern spirituality). But if they are – just be aware you could be their target this time.
Be optimistic that people have the best intentions, but don’t let yourself get taken advantage of.
Personally, I hope this spread turns out to be a former friend you became distant from due to changing lives. They want to reconnect because they remember how much fun it was to spend time with you. Don’t turn down such invitations if they come your way.

Pile 2: Butterflies

Who These People Are
Multiple people are thinking about you according to the Three of Cups card. They might even be talking about you together such in a group chat. I see them as either being friends or someone in your social network.
Now, obviously, friends think about their friends all the time, so these thoughts are different from normal or they’re somehow more impactful than average. Specifically, the Judgement card indicates something important is happening or will happen soon and they think that you can be part of a group of people that can withstand that important thing together.
This is a very happy energy, especially with the Six of Cups card which imparts a level of nostalgia or joy. I’ve also heard of this card being a very protective energy – suggesting that whatever important thing happens, you and your social group will end up on the better side of it.
About the Event
We can only make general extrapolations here and it still be relevant to all those who pick this pile, but it’s going to be one of two things: something that happens in the world or a significant life pattern event.
That means something economic, political, newsworthy, or a group life event like graduation. It’s a major energy and marks a shift in perspective and lifestyle.
The card itself draws upon Revelation symbolism in the Bible where the dead are resurrected and join the new kingdom on Earth. This is a good thing and this card should be interpreted to mean that you’re going to be with your social group after an earth-shattering event that changes everything. You may even have to do something together.
Some people may not join you, but the core group will and you’ll still have happy memories and connections with each other. So this isn’t an individual thing, but 3+ person event.
Those Who Return
There’s a strong possibility for many who chose this spread that these people, or at least some of the people thinking about you, are those you haven’t spent time with recently or never knew well. They were connected through school, work, and so on. So some may be joining a group of people they weren’t close with before, but will be in the future.
The last card is one of community, but also a marriage or proposal to stay together. So it’s possible some who chose this pile may have a new romance or help two missed connections finally join up together. That could be how you end up reconnecting with people you knew before, not well. You either become related to them or your friend marry into that family or friend group.
The point being is that your relationship with this social group will be more intimate than before. You might want to start a group chat or make it a point to meet regularly for a group dinner or party. It doesn’t have to be weekly. A few times per year or on special occasions is fine. Just make sure you’re somehow in contact if you don’t meet frequently in person.
The relationships in this social group may not always be perfect (think of siblings who love each other that still fight), but it will be productive and worth tending to.

Pile 3: Inkwell

Who This Person Is
This is interesting – someone is attracting you, but they haven’t met you yet or you just met them. The Seven of Pentacles card is about an investment that may or may not work out. Given the rest of the spread, I don’t think it will, so you need to be ready.
The Fool, Reversed is an indication of a mistake. This person may be energetically attracting you for the wrong reasons. This could be malevolent – perhaps they want to attract someone into their life to take advantage of them. But it could also be innocent. Perhaps it’s someone who wants to fall in love or make a friend, so they’re attracting a type of person… but that type of person isn’t someone they would actually like to be around.
It seems as if The Star, Reversed is a sign that you and this person are not meant to be together, and this person is really working against fate and their best interest to bring you into their life. The universe is shouting at them no, but they’re not listening.
Understanding the Law of Attraction
It’s important to realize why this is occurring. When you focus on something in your thoughts or you use manifesting techniques, you can bring something or someone into your life for good or bad.
Sometimes people even try to attract something good, but it’s not an appropriate fit and makes them miserable.
This is part of the reason why manifestation coaches recommend you to focus on how you would feel instead of just status symbols. For example, you might want to attract someone who is wealthy, but if they don’t make you happy, you might just attract an asshole.
You can use this to either prevent this person from attracting you or to push them away. Be very clear about the type of people you want in your life, but focus on how you want to feel around them. Have at least three traits that are most important to you and then create a list of affirmations around these traits. Say them a few times each week for the next month or so. Or if you have a preferred manifestation technique, use that.
Here’s an example of affirmations: “I’m cherished by the people in my life. I’m around people who mentally stimulate me. I’m enjoying the company of optimistic people.”
Remember they need to be in first person present tense to have the best effect.
The Outcome
Ultimately, two people who don’t match will eventually repel each other because they’ll spend less time with each other and find others they like better instead. So even if you did nothing, this person will eventually leave your life anyway.
But it’s important to remind you not to make a relationship work if it’s too difficult – especially if the relationship just started. This goes for romantic and platonic relationships. It’s okay to push and make sacrifices for people you’re already connected to by a deep bond, like parents with difficult teenagers, but most casual and unproductive relationships don’t deserve that level of effort.
You’re allowed to say no to a relationship. Even if that person seems really interested in you at first. Interest alone is not compatibility even if it feels like it in the moment.
