March 2022: Tarot Pick a Card
With current events, March may be a stressful time for all of us. For that reason, it can help you to take control over your personal life by looking into the future. It’s easy with this tarot pick a card.
All you have to do is look at the piles of cards above. Does a particular girl with her adorable pet stick out to you most? If so, that’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading!
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Work Your Light and Golden Art Nouveau Tarot decks. Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to peer into the future for March 2022.
Pile 1: Girl With Axolotl
Theme
First, I’ll answer what may be a burning question for you. The axolotl is an aquatic salamander from Mexico. Your theme card this month is Dance With Life which has the wisdom message of “Do something to change your energy.” Although you will have some good fortune this month, you’ll also have some difficult weeks too. Because of that, you should revel in the good times and use that as a reminder that things will get better eventually.
I suggest setting aside time to relax, but you should also look towards your coping mechanisms before something upsetting happens. What have you done in the past? Did that help you? If not, you may need to make some sort of change to help you deal with stressful situations. Just because something bad happens doesn’t mean you can’t take a step back and do something else that you enjoy to help regulate your mood.
Don’t choose to wallow in misery. You shouldn’t have to, even in the worst of times. That said, you don’t have any major negative cards, so the bad which will happen this month is transitory.
Week 1: March 1st to the 6th
First, never let a bad tarot reading discourage you. Your first tarot card, the Page of Wands, Reversed, indicates that you’ll not believe in yourself as much as you should. This could simply be because you’re anticipating a bad event, or it could be in reaction to something which takes place this week.
So much of your experience of “bad” is mental. You’re not alone. Many people let their emotions snowball when they’re upset, and I think you’re going to be at risk for that this week.
If you feel yourself being dragged into an emotionally dark path, have a mantra ready to alleviate this tendency or something similar. Personally? I go watch funny videos. It helps get my mind off the situation and lift my spirits. Find what works for you.
Week 2: March 7th to the 13th
The next card is the Nine of Cups. This is considered the wish-fulfillment card, and this is likely to be the best time of the month for you. I think you’ll take the previous week’s lesson to heart and this will help you to see the abundance in your life or one which you’ll be able to bring in.
That means this is a good week to manifest something important, so if you plan a long work session or you want to release something, this week is when you should do it.
Week 3: March 14th to the 20th
Your third week is the Three of Swords, Reversed. Because the previous week is so positive, I read this card as indicating a sudden, but brief heartbreak which you get over quickly. I doubt this is a romantic relationship (unless you feel a surge of freedom), so some uncomfortable news that you’ll need to emotionally process may be received.
The good thing is that this revelation provides the necessary clarity that will help you reorganize your life to better fit the vision you have for yourself. But it will hurt. This is when you’ll need to ease into your coping mechanism.
Week 4: March 21st to the 27th
Your fourth week marks a journey with the Five of Pentacles. Do you see how the couple are out in the cold and looking for shelter? It’s closer than they realize, but it will still take some time to see what resources they have at hand.
This is true for you as well this week. The previous revelation from mid-March that helps you to re-organize your life will come with some hiccups. Have you ever cleaned your house and then struggled to find something? I sense a similar experience when it comes to finances, work, your home, or even your spiritual path. Have patience with yourself. You’ll find your way.
Week 5: March 28th to the 31st
The last card in your spread is the Nine of Swords. Even though I think you’re going to be careful, you’ll probably make a minor, but upsetting mistake which you can’t fix by the end of the month. This will cause you anxiety and may even lead to a sleepless night or two.
Don’t obsess over the details in your life this month, but do your best to tend to what’s most important. Do you have bills or taxes that are due soon? Is there an important errand that requires a document lost in your house? Or, since this is a swords card, be mindful of the decisions you make and the words you say.
Simply put: don’t be needlessly careless and you may be able to avoid the misfortune this week. But, if you can’t, make sure you have your coping mechanism handy.

Pile 2: Girl With Puppy
Theme
The theme of your month is The Great Gathering with the wisdom message of “It’s all coming together. Intuitive hits. Soul tribe.” Although there are a lot of social qualities to your spread this month, I do sense that this theme is mostly spiritual instead of actual. I believe you’ll have a solid grasp on your spiritual gifts, even if they aren’t normally clear to you, and this will help you to have a truly amazing month.
But, and I should note this, you have no major arcana here. That means the good times are closer to home and not long-lasting. So enjoy the experience of this month and make the most of it as you can. Perhaps the happy atmosphere will provide the space and opportunity to manifest more than the universe originally had planned for you.
Week 1: March 1st to the 6th
Your first card is the Eight of Pentacles. This is a week where you’re going to work very hard and may even be a bit of a perfectionist. However, I think you’ll generally enjoy your work and feel very close to it.
I would use this week as an opportunity to reach out to your spirit guides for further clarity on your life purpose. Even if you already know what it is, you may be in a situation where you can receive more details through your intuition that will help you take it farther.
You can use something like tarot, but guided meditations, journaling, and even dreaming may be helpful too. Also, don’t negate the good from traditional self-help either. The social aspect of your theme card does suggest relying on the wisdom of another is good for you right now.
Week 2: March 7th to the 13th
The second card in your spread is the Three of Cups. What I find interesting about the card in this deck compared to others is how drunk the dancing women look. They’re almost delirious in their joy and are having a truly amazing time together.
Use this week to take a much-needed break. Work hard, play hard. And this is especially true for you as your first and third-week cards are going to be labor-oriented.
I also think you should consider having a party or enjoying some sort of social event. Preferably with your friends or peers so you can let go and relax. None of these women appear related, so I do sense this is more of a friendship atmosphere than anything else.
Week 3: March 14th to the 20th
Here your card is the Seven of Pentacles. This is a card of investing in your future. I don’t think you’ll manifest as much this week, but what you do in this week will have positive consequences in your life later on.
For that reason, consider putting in more hours on a project or at work. This may also be an opportune time to start something new or even create a plan for something.
But one thing I’m sensing you may want to avoid is actual financial investing. This isn’t financial advice here, but rather a clarification on the energy of this card in your spread. Right now, this card is calling for you to do the work. While I don’t think investing in the stock market is effortless, putting money into your retirement account isn’t the sort of hard work investment that’s indicated here.
By all means, do invest in the stock market if you wish, there’s nothing antagonistic about it here, but the good of the energy of this card lies in your personal efforts.
Week 4: March 21st to the 27th
Honestly, the blessings just seem to continue for you this month. Your fourth-week card is the Ten of Cups. I consider this the domestic bliss card and I read it in a few different ways. The most prominent one is usually happiness in the home, but there is a secondary aspect I feel here suggesting a happy arrival at a final destination.
Either one may apply to you. For some who pick this pile, you’re going to have a good week with your family or just a staycation. It’ll make you feel safe. The rainbow as a symbol occurs in the Bible following the Great Flood, so this could also be a signifier that you overcome a sudden, but brief period of turmoil and feel safe and secure because of that.
But for those of you with the secondary aspect of arriving at a final destination, this could be tied to work you’ve done this month, especially creative, or in the effort you put into a relationship. That means this week is about reaping the rewards for your effort in happiness and closing a chapter on your life with joy.
Week 5: March 28th to the 31st
The final card in your spread is the Ace of Swords. I find this a more sharp card than your other ones and I think you’ll be taking on a more aggressive approach this week.
You’ll probably have a new idea that you’ll want to explore and begin doing so. The ease of the month will likely lead you to feel confident and assured of your success. It’s a promising way to end the month, but I think you may also feel a bit restless too.
Sometimes, without conflict, our spirits can get a little bored. Boredom isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but for some people, like you in this instance, you’ll want to get going again and try something new.
Enjoy this motivation, but realize that this extremely positive month may not be repeated anytime soon. Be prepared for normal trials and tribulations again. However, it was certainly nice to have a break for once, wasn’t it?

Pile 3: Girl With Hamster
Theme
Okay, I won’t try to hide the obvious, but your month isn’t always going to be an easy one. The good news is that you’re on the right path. Your card here, You’re Already Doing It with the wisdom message of “Stop overthinking. Keep facing your true north” suggests you’re on a heroic journey that is difficult, important, but very direct.
See how the woman is leaving a dark cave area and stepping into a beautiful, light forest? Despite the difficulties you’ll encounter this month, you’re still making progress and improving your circumstances.
So when things get tough, and they will get tough this month, just take a deep breath and trust that you’re going the right way. Obstacles can be overcome – and you will overcome them.
Week 1: March 1st to the 6th
Your first card is the Seven of Swords, Reversed. This card’s simple meaning is that you’re able to avoid being victimized by a thief or a manipulator. But here, I read that as meaning you’re going to enjoy a happy revelation of who you are and what you’re meant to be doing in life.
Perhaps you don’t know everything, but the path before you is clear.
That said, this probably comes after a period of intense anxiety over your life purpose and you’ll still have lingering doubts and many questions. I think guided meditations will help you most for one reason: you can’t spiral into self-doubt as the meditation keeps going on and on. Try searching for meditations that interest you on YouTube or another streaming service and spend a few times this week listening to them.
Week 2: March 7th to the 13th
The second card in your spread, Queen of Pentacles, is perhaps your most positive card of the month. She represents balancing work and family while maintaining an intense creative capacity. You’ll realize this month just how capable you truly are and want to explore the options you have.
That means you’re going to discover ways of living and balancing your responsibilities that you didn’t expect were possible before. This reminds me of the heroic journey in stories where the main character trains and becomes stronger than they were before. That’s what’s happening for you this week.
But this strength is softer and more material. What you’re able to do will likely manifest in your environment: especially your home. You’ll likely want to find and use tools you hadn’t before, so be prepared for some new gadgets or a potential shopping spree to stock up and match your intentions.
Yes, some of you may find a sudden an unexpected urge to start a new hobby. Just be a bit mindful of how much you spend. You’re more interested in the ability to start something new, so you may end up pivoting to different activities. Try not to invest too much into any one activity at first.
Week 3: March 14th to the 20th
Here, your card is Judgement, Reversed. While this card can be read positively or negatively, I had a strong intuitive sense that it has a negative meaning here. I believe you may be called to do something in your life and not heed that call.
I can’t quite make out the exact response, so I think this may differ for all of you who pick this card. Some, for example, may be devastated that they missed an opportunity while others will happily take the loss even if they would turn back time and change things if they could.
My advice for you is simple: if you encounter the option to pursue an opportunity or calling, do what you can to take it. You may want to set aside more free time this week to give yourself enough wiggle room.
However, if this calling does pass you by, I think it will just be a major disappointment and not a permanent loss to your life purpose. Use your judgement on how to respond to best fit your situation at the time.
Week 4: March 21st to the 27th
I think your reaction to the last week will determine whether or not the card for this week manifests. Here, the Knight of Swords indicates a rush to action. You’re going to want to make up for missing your past opportunity. Perhaps you’ll start your own version of that opportunity.
I sense some mixed intuitive signals on whether or not it will work out for you. This card can be positive, but the haste it’s known for can cause some problems. Astrologically, it’s connected to Mars in Gemini. This is the only astrological connection I didn’t have to look up when learning tarot because I experienced it myself in my own astrological natal chart acutely. Yeah: it causes massive problems sometimes. And quite often I put my foot in my mouth and regret what I said to someone or how quick I acted.
But, despite all that, it can also give you a lot of passion when pursuing an idea or decision you’ve made. Just approach it with caution.
Week 5: March 28th to the 31st
Either because of the fourth week or just the general environment of this month, you’re going to be a little defensive at the end of March. That’s because your card here, the Seven of Wands, features a man standing his ground against an assault.
You’re likely to be attacked by someone or something. It will feel very strong and you may not be certain you can hold your ground.
But you can. See how the man on the card is on the high ground? You’re in a good position, just like the woman in your theme card. So have confidence. You’re more capable than you may realize despite the obstacles you’ve faced. Or perhaps because you’ve faced them it’s what has made you ready for what lies ahead.
