How to Attract Luck: Tarot Pick a Card
Are you feeling down lately? Do you wish to bring more blessings into your life? You can with this psychic tarot pick a card. The universe has called you to this tarot reading to manifest a better life today.
All you have to do is look at the piles of cards above. Which lucky cat sticks out to you the most? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading!
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Light Seer’s Tarot and the Work Your Light Oracle deck (these are affiliate links that support me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to bring true blessings into your life. Let’s help you attract luck starting today.
Pile 1: White Cat
Embrace Your Destiny
Your theme cards center on being happy in your life by embracing your calling. Your first card, Starseed, has the wisdom message of “What lights you up?” This is the warm feeling in your stomach that happens when you’re doing something which aligns with your higher purpose.
Have you ever felt dread when you started to do something? That’s a sign that you’re turning away from what you were meant to be doing. When this happens, you inadvertently attract bad luck because you’re going down the wrong path in life.
Know Your Soul
The next theme card is Lemuria with the wisdom message of “Creating heaven on Earth. It’s happening.” I sense that the universe wants you to bring more spirituality into your day-to-day experience. This could be in rituals, such as meditation or journaling, but it might also be mindfulness in the moment that your soul is connected to something greater.
Remember that you aren’t just a body – you’re a body with a soul. Your soul has a connection to higher planes like heaven and you can channel that goodness in your everyday life through awareness of the spirit realm. This in turn will draw luck to you because your soul will have the power of other planes of consciousness.
Extraordinary Moments
Your third theme card is The Age of Light with the wisdom message of “You’ve been training for this for lifetimes.” There’s something about this particular life of yours that is extraordinary and distinct that will never happen again – either in your reincarnation cycle or elsewhere.
This is a card of light and peace, so I don’t sense your soul is preparing for something negative. Rather, your soul is meant to gather to it something great. I believe that if you allow yourself to lean into this higher purpose you will have a fulfillment of your soul that will transcend all your mortal lives.
Stop Ignoring Personal Change
Now it’s time to get into the details of attracting luck in your everyday life now that you know it’s centered around pursuing your calling. Here your first card, the Seven of Pentacles, Reversed, indicates that you’ve invested your time in effort into something and it hasn’t born any fruit.
Because of this, you’ve started to question whether you’re even capable of attracting luck. After all, if you work hard and have nothing to show for it that’s a bad sign, right? Nope!
I believe the reason this has occurred is due to the Death, Reversed card. I sense that you tried to change the world around you and invested in the world rather than in yourself. But what you desperately needed was a transformation of the heart and soul.
You’re being called to pursue your calling to attract luck because you’re trapped either on the wrong path or you’ve taken a detour that is distracting you from what you should be doing instead.
Accepting and Acting Are Two Different Things
The next two cards deal with how to overcome this personal static and get back on track. Here your next tarot card is the King of Swords. It seems like the universe believes the right answer is already in your mind and you just haven’t accepted it in your heart.
There are a lot of reasons this may have happened. Right now, I get the strong sense that some of you who chose this pile are trying to manifest things in your life before you’re ready. You know what you should do, but you’re trying to get to the finish line before you’ve even started the race.
A good example would be trying to attract money in your life but you’re resistant to pursuing any work, even a job you would enjoy, or you turn down opportunities that come your way. The universe can’t send you a fortune if you reject the universe. An intellectual agreement with luck and your calling means nothing if you don’t act out your beliefs in the world too.
Luck favors those who choose to live.
Practice Discernment
Your last card is the Seven of Cups. The truth is that with all the opportunities coming your way, not all of them are appropriate for you. This card mirrors your Seven of Pentacles, Reversed card and here we see so many options, but not all are good.
You need discernment. There’s a lot of chaos in the world and this causes things to come your way which aren’t good. If you’re too eager to accept the easy fix, you may find yourself in a bad situation. That’s why you should use your discernment, your King of Swords energy, to determine if something just appears lucky and when something actually is lucky.
The universe is calling you to act, not merely receive, so pursuing your calling will require you to make decisions. If you make the right ones that’s how you’ll attract luck and blessings.

Pile 2: Gray Cat
Present Yourself to the Universe
When it comes to attracting luck in your life, it seems as if you need to give yourself a life with a good foundation so you can live confidently.
Your first theme card, Priestess, has the wisdom message of “How are you being called to step up and lead?” That may sound scary to some who chose this pile, but the reality is that you aren’t letting yourself live up to your potential. Because of this, the universe isn’t certain if you’d even accept all the luck that could be sent your way.
There’s a part of you who needs to be more visible or influential than you currently are. By stepping into that role, whether it’s by being physically present or allowing your actions to be felt by others far away, you’ll live more in your truth and vibrate at a higher frequency. This will attract good fortune to you.
Be Brave and Independent
The second theme card in your spread is the Share Your Voice card with the wisdom message of “Come out of the cave. Persecution. Expression.” I sense that some of your luck is about feeling free to be yourself. There’s certainly a more abstract quality to your life blessings, and that’s in living your truth rather than living how you’re expected to by others.
Look around at your life and ask yourself how you’re being trapped or pressured by the expectations of others. This is part of the reason you don’t feel as fortunate as you should. Once you step into your truth and allow your influence to be felt, you’ll advocate for yourself and feel the blessings you deserve.
Connect in a Practical Way
Now we have the Get Grounded card with the wisdom message of “Empaths. Highly sensitives. Connect with nature.” Even though you’re being called to step up and advocate for yourself, you need to realize that with your good luck comes the ability to spread blessings to others.
But to do this, you need to be firmly grounded in your truth and awareness of the world. Mindfulness exercises and going out into nature, or your community, are keys to feeling a strong spiritual connection beyond yourself.
Reach Out to Others
Your next four cards cover the details of how to step into your truth and overcome challenges. Here the first tarot card, the Nine of Wands, indicates that you’ve been beaten up in the past, but not defeated. You stand strong, but you need support. The truth is that you can’t do it alone even if you’re leading the charge.
Look around you for the people or systems that have advocated for you in the past. They won’t do everything for you now, but you’ll be able to lean on them for emotional and perhaps even material support.
Just don’t let them make decisions for you! To attract luck into your life you must be in charge of yourself.
Be Reasonable in Your Plans
However, you may find it difficult to create a strategy for your life and because of this, it can make attracting luck to you more difficult. This is because you’re a bit impulsive and we see that in the Knight of Swords, Reversed card. Perhaps you’re really excited to start advocating for yourself so you can be a bit careless.
You need to ground your plans in something more concrete and lasting. Here, the Page of Pentacles has some insight you should consider. It mirrors your Get Grounded card and encourages you to create a positive foundation for your life. You won’t be an expert at first, but that’s okay. You’ll get better at it over time.
Even though you’re more independent than before, don’t create plans for your life in a vacuum. Don’t focus so much on what’s in your head that you desperately want to manifest in the world that you ignore your environment.
Contextualize your life to a higher purpose. How can you elevate the consciousness of the people around you? This could be through spiritual efforts, but it can also be in your career or in your relationships with them.
You need to advocate for yourself, yes, but you need and deserve positive relationships with others. This relationship isn’t just something you receive: you need to spread the blessings yourself too.
You’re Going on a Personal Journey
The last card in your spread is the Ten of Wands. I sense that you need to take on more responsibilities in your life. These should be responsibilities you’re glad to have or which will improve your life in some way.
But I want you to really interrogate yourself before you make any decisions. I sense that you’ll impulsively pledge yourself to a cause that you won’t resonate with. For that reason, be slow and deliberate in your actions so you only do what is good.
Like the woman in this card, you’re about to go on a journey. This will be one where you discover yourself and understand who you really are. The more you know, the more you’ll be able to live as yourself and attract the luck that you, the individual, needs most.
At the end of that road is your own pot of gold. It’ll be worth the trip.

Pile 3: Brown Cat
What You Like to Do Matters
With your spread, it seems like attracting luck is more inherent and on the universe right now. However, you do have some influence. Your first theme card, Inner Temple, has the wisdom message of “Devotion. Tune in to the portal of your heart.”
I get the strong sense that you may not know what you want. There’s some sort of confusion between what you believe you want and what you actually enjoy receiving. Because of that, it’s difficult for the universe to send luck your way – and they’re trying! What may be fortunate to other people would be an opportunity you could do without.
What you need to do is look within and figure out what it is you enjoy. If you’re depressed, you may need to seek therapy to get into a healthy state. But for those of you who are simply frustrated, this could be a matter of reprioritizing your time and pursuing what brightens your day.
Your Energy Is Broken
The next theme card is The Ever-Unfolding Rose with the wisdom message of “Cracked open. It’s happening for you, not to you.” Here I find this card especially complex. A lot of the luck you’re attracting right now is not personalized and is rather what other people would value.
Just because someone considers something lucky doesn’t mean you’ll enjoy it. For example, an opportunity for a new job would only be a hindrance if you wouldn’t like pursuing it.
The universe is trying to find luck and sending it your way in hopes something will stick. But right now, you’re not sending out the right energy. You’re an open wound of sorts and the universe is trying to find the right medicine.
Your Inner Self Is in a State of Disarray
The third theme card here is Birthing a New Age with the wisdom message of “Birthing new creations. Dreaming a new world into being.” I think part of the reason why you’re struggling to attract as much luck as you’d like is that there’s a disconnect between the universe and you.
Your free will is a wonderful thing, but if you don’t set intentions, the universe doesn’t know how to co-create your destiny with you. This can cause some noise and confusion. Be very clear about your wants.
If your mind is uncertain, you can try saying it out loud or journaling. But you need to be very clear and precise so that energy is channeled out into the universe instead of swirling within like a cataclysm.
Look to Your Past for Clues
The next four cards in your spread deal with challenges and how to overcome them. Your first tarot card is the Six of Swords, Reversed. Here I sense you’ve realized or you’re going to realize that something you did or believed in the past is key to setting the right intentions in the future.
You’ve been going in the wrong direction, and because of that, you’re sending mixed signals to the universe. Think of someone who wants to be a lawyer, but majoring in engineering in college just in case they don’t get accepted into law school. Their time and energy will shift towards that goal instead of their ultimate one.
It’s perfectly fine to have a backup plan, by the way, and I encourage it, but make sure any backup plan you have is one you also like.
Free Yourself to Create
I do think that once you identify what in your past is the key to unlocking your intentions you’ll find yourself tempted to avoid it. With The Devil card, it seems like there was a reason you ignored your true desires in the past – and it wasn’t a good reason.
Now you’re trapped by the circumstances of your life in which even luck can’t rescue you. That’s because you’ve willingly binded yourself to a future you don’t actually want, but you’re too scared to change.
Instead, seek the wisdom of The Sun card. Just like the Birthing a New Age card you need to create. Whether or not you’re normally creative, expressing yourself in some sort of creative work will allow you to channel your inner confusion into something tangible.
This also prevents you from being tempted by your life circumstances and frees you to self-express how you really feel. Don’t worry about creating a masterpiece. You are the universe’s masterpiece already.
Personal Closure Achieved
Your final card is the Two of Wands, Reversed. Normally I read this card negatively, but in your case, I sense this as personal closure. You’ll stop looking out at the world and outside influences and instead focus on your own world.
See how the girl seems to have her own piece of artwork on the floor, forgotten? You’re going to pick it up and look at it. This artwork is the manifestation of what you really want in life. And you can only find that out by looking within and allowing it to take shape in the world. Don’t look at the world for clues.
Return within. And then bring it out.
