How and When You’ll Be Successful in Your Career: Tarot Pick a Card

If you were drawn to this reading then the universe has a message for you about success in your career. This reading also applies to any hobby or passion you have if that’s what you want to use the reading for.

Pile 1: Cow

You’ll Know What to Do

Your first card is the Four of Swords, Reversed. You’re going to have a sudden change in luck when it comes to your career soon. This is a card of awakening which means you’re going to have a realization or revelation about what you need to do.

However, like with sleep, it may take you some time to fully wake up and feel ready to tackle projects. For this reason, I think your second card, the Queen of Coins, Reversed, means you won’t have financial success right away.

But don’t be discouraged. It doesn’t mean the realization you have isn’t working, just that it takes time for you to get into the groove of things when it comes to your career.

Because we have a swords card here it does suggest mental clarity. You will know what to do even as you struggle to manifest it (coins in reverse for the second card).

Look Towards Your Dreams

I also see a bit of intangibility in the first two cards. With the first card referencing sleep and the second card referencing the lack of materiality, I think getting in touch with your dreams is important.

We can look at this as your hopes, but I want to direct you more toward your literal dreams. Your subconscious mind will deliver messages and create narratives in your head while you’re sleeping that can really help you organize your life.

Consider keeping a dream journal and looking into how to remember your dreams so you can best process these messages. I think you may be receiving a eureka moment from your dreams soon.

This could simply be a mental processing thing or it could be a message delivered from your spirit guides. Either way, you seemed destined to receive knowledge through your dreams about being successful in your career.

Happy Environment and Energy

The final card in your spread is the Three of Cups. This is a happy card of celebration. I think you’re moving into a joyful energy. You’re going to like what you do in your career and that will benefit your mental health.

But on a spiritual level it has an effect too. Like attracts like and enjoying your career is going to raise your vibration and attract success to you.

So while you won’t make more money right away, I do think being at peace in your career will attract a bonus, a raise, or a promotion. For those with more fixed incomes, you may receive an inheritance, find money, or win money.

In addition, you may find this energy promotes friendship or positive relationships among coworkers.

Overall expect your career to be more pleasant very soon and success to come a little while afterward once you’ve raised your vibration.

Don’t rush things – just enjoy the emotional and material abundance as it comes.

Pile 2: Bunny and Bear

Learn to Let Go

You need to make a change before you’ll be successful in your career. Your first card, the Six of Swords, is about a journey where you leave everything behind. I see this as referring to some sort of baggage you’re carrying that’s weighing on you.

For some of you, this means changing your job or career, but it could refer to a small change, such as a different project or approach to an existing career.

The point is that there’s something you’re clinging to in your career that’s toxic. It’s stopping you from moving on to something better.

And since this is a swords card this seems to be mental baggage. You have some sort of idea or perception of your career that doesn’t quite work.

Be Ruthless

The second card in your spread, Queen of Swords, is about personal mental clarity. I see this as you stepping into your autonomy instead of relying on someone else. You’re being negatively influenced and not listening to what you know to be true.

This card is also blunt and a bit coldly rational. The change you need to make may be sharp or difficult. You may hurt people’s feelings in the process. That may even be what’s holding you back.

I’ll use an example: imagine a person hates their job but they like their boss and coworkers. They need to find a new position, but they’re afraid that changing jobs will make it harder for the people they care about. So they don’t.

This is where this card’s energy comes into use. Maybe it will be difficult for people you care about to accept this change, but the baggage in your career is hurting you more right now than letting go would hurt the people around you.

But Not Too Ruthless

That said your last card is Judgment, Reversed. I do think there’s some negativity around you and it may tempt you to make an immoral decision. You need to listen to your conscious in everything you do.

Let’s go back to that example. Yes, the person needs to find a new job, but it may be better to give notice first.

Because the Queen of Swords energy is a bit harsh, you need to make sure that stepping into your autonomy doesn’t mean making a victim of someone else. There’s a line when it comes to your career decisions and you need to make sure you don’t cross it.

But this also refers to yourself. Imagine that the same person gives their notice, quits their job, and then enters into a new career that is morally bankrupt just because the hours are nice and the pay is good.

Take care of yourself but also take care of your morality. You’ll feel better in the end.

The Time Is Now

Don’t make any drastic changes right now. Your first card, Death, Reversed, is about not having any transformation. To succeed you need to make use of what you’re currently doing.

That’s not to say you’re stuck in your current position forever, but that there’s something you still need to do before you move on to the next chapter. Believe it or not but there’s still a way to manifest abundance right now.

Look at your current job or project for clues. Is there something about this particular thing that you’ve always wanted to see shine? Now’s the time to manifest it.

A Hidden Resource

Your next card is The Chariot. Pay attention here so you understand the nuance. This is a card of progress and movement, but in conjunction with your last card, it’s about picking up what you currently have and taking it as far as it can go.

It seems like you’re on the warpath to success. It may even be a long march. But what you have is enough to succeed at the current level the universe wants you to be at. Rejecting it would be going into this abundant opportunity without the resources you need to succeed.

Let’s use an example: imagine a single mother who works at a candle shop part-time to help pay the bills while she’s in college. She likes candles and wants to open her own e-commerce store one day. Quitting would give her more time to study and care for her children, but it would also mean she loses valuable experience in her field.

Perhaps instead of quitting she should continue but cut back her hours.

That’s how you can use a current position or project to your advantage. What aspect of what you’re doing will help you down the road?

Find the aspect of what you’re doing that will make your future easier to manifest later.

See It to the End

The third card in your spread is Two of Cups. This is about commitment to a person but it can also be a commitment to a process. For some of you, this could mean finding a business partner to help you right now or it could mean committing to a project until its conclusion.

You won’t be successful until you see whatever you’re doing to its logical end. But to help you identify that for a job instead of a project consider the aspect that I talked about. How do you reach a new achievement level? It could be a promotion, but it could also be a skill.

Perhaps you work as a bartender. Your logical end could be learning a set number of drinks or finishing a year in the position.

The universe seems to be suggesting that finishing what you start will either bring financial success or give you the keys to the future success you’ve always wanted.
