Don’t Live With Spiritual Loose Ends
It hurts your soul if you have unfinished business.
This is one of the reasons that karma happens. Karma is the cause and effect that reverberates in this life and the next. You don’t want to start your next life with regrets from your last. It taints what should be a beautiful experience.
However, we’re all usually guilty of spiritual loose ends. This is where we ignore our intuition and fail to heed a calling from the universe.
The Spiritual Baggage You Carry
Have you ever felt that you were paying for something from your past life? It’s not really your fault, but it sure feels like it.
That’s karma at work.
But what many people don’t realize is that karma is fluid. Yes, actions you take in this life will affect the next, but you can change that balance of karma now. Your current life is mortal, but karma isn’t. Your soul carries the karma you create, good and bad, forever.
That means you can perpetually live with good karma if you make the effort to let go of your spiritual baggage. Listen to the universe so you don’t create bad karma for yourself.
Dealing With Karma
I do find that the universe is rather forgiving with past life karma. Even if you did something truly heinous, you’re given a second chance in the next life to be a better person.
That’s why it’s important to see old karma and new karma in the correct light. Old karma is the spiritual collection of energies from your past lives. It helps to inform your intuition through past life experiences. How you feel when something happens to you should be revealing on how you affected the world.
You don’t just create karma for yourself. You create it for other people. This is because you influence the world around you, good and bad.
But new karma is not quite set in stone. You have the chance to set things right.
Closing the Loop
Bad karma is constricting and suffocating. It wounds instead of builds. When you don’t listen to your intuition in this life, you create a spiritual loose end that other people, probably a future life, will be responsible for setting right.
Unless you step in and close that loop yourself.
But what is a calling from the universe? It can be a career or life path to follow, but it could also be temporary and limited, such as watering a tree or saying a kind word to another person.
Everyone has a different set of callings. You may find it helpful to keep a journal or meditative practice if you find yourself with a lot of needless regrets. However, you’re unlikely to forget a calling if you’re not blocking messages from the universe to begin with.
Finding Your Loose Ends
To get in touch with your spiritual loose ends, you can do something as simple as asking the universe what you need to do that you haven’t done already.
Some of you will find it useful to write this down, but most will find themselves spilling all their regrets if they ask this out loud.
Do this every few weeks or whenever you feel uneasy. Modern life can lead us to ignore intuitive messages from the universe, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
Listen and close the loop. The karma you create will be worth it.
