Boost Your Confidence — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic tarot reading on how you can boost your confidence. This will help you to live the life you want.
All you have to do to receive this message is pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Chakra Wisdom Oracle deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s find out how to boost your confidence.
Pile 1: Starfish
You’re Hurt and Letting It Fester
The source of your lack of confidence or the reason you’re not as confident as you could be is found in the Victim card.
You were hurt in the past, making your circumstances not as fortunate as they could’ve been. This act was unjust and you didn’t know how to overcome it at the time.
But the real harm is what you’re experiencing now. There’s a concept called “Learned Helplessness” where someone suffering extends their belief in helplessness to other things.
That’s not to say your pain in the past was unwarranted or that you don’t need healing now, but it does seem as if some of your victimization has become a persistent victim mentality.
This is often experienced by children in school. They encounter a topic or problem they don’t understand and they assume they’re stupid at least in that subject. They stop trying, even though a bit of practice could’ve made them excel in something like mathematics.
You’re experiencing this in some area of your life because of past trauma.
Be Bold and Adventurous
The universe thinks you’ll benefit by going on a Quest. Now this quest can be a literal travel adventure. The reason why we think of that even today is that it encourages someone to go outside of the bubble they know and face uncertainty every day.
You could go to another country, but even going to new places in your city would be a quest.
However, a quest is simply an adventure with a goal and that adventure can be in almost any context. For example, someone who is shy might livestream themselves playing video games and talking about it every day for a year to help break that shyness.
Take some time to brainstorm ways you would like to embark upon a quest. Make sure you have a goal in mind so your adventure will be relevant to what you’re trying to achieve.
Because you suffer from learned helplessness, you might benefit by practicing a simpler form of something you struggle with.
When I was applying to graduate school, I struggled with math and I definitely suffered from learned helplessness there. Many people in my program dropped out because of the math tests. I instead used Khan Academy and went back to the basics and did as many lessons as I could from the beginning to more advanced topics to cover all the areas I struggled with.
It was my own personal quest over months of studying. I ended up getting a higher-than-average score after a lifetime of failed secondary and post-secondary courses. I learned more from that quest about myself and what I was capable of than anything I learned in college.
Being You
There’s a promise of Renewal here. By going on your quest, you’ll not only overcome the victim mentality you’ve fallen into, but you’ll bring back a part of yourself that was lost.
You suppressed an element of your identity through your learned helplessness that you would like to get back. It may be a personality trait, an interest, or a pursuit.
The quest itself will boost your confidence, but it will also breathe life into the you that was always meant to be. You should expect to feel more connected to your life purpose and a positive destiny.
That’s because you’ll be in control of your self-expression.

Ask and Receive
I see that your spread is all about trust. It seems like the universe is at work in your life and doing a lot of things behind the scenes.
You may be reluctant or resistant to the universe’s designs. Perhaps you’ve had bad luck in the past or you don’t know if you can trust the universe over your own will.
But the first card, Faith, strongly indicates a need to trust that the universe has your back.
I don’t think your faith should be empty. While Christians sometimes think their faith is supposed to be blind trust, Paul declared that without Jesus rising from the dead, then their faith is in vain. The New Testament was built on the presumption of witness testimony and bodily resurrection.
You may not be Christian (I’m not), but this example clearly shows the importance of faith resting on some measure of evidence. Ask the universe to give you a sign within a period of reasonable time, such as a few weeks to a few months, and in a form you could reliably understand and expect.
Don’t ask the universe to send you a polar bear if you live in Botswana. But a cloud in the shape of a polar bear within the month? That’s the kind of requested sign you could ask for.
Waiting Can Be Productive
The second card can be interpreted both negatively and positively.
Right now, Complacency indicates a consistent contentment with your circumstances. You may not like your circumstances, but you aren’t willing to dramatically act to change them. That’s because you’re waiting for a sign without realizing you’re waiting for a sign. So you’re looking down instead of up.
But this complacency can be channeled into something productive. Instead of seeing yourself as powerless, see yourself as part of the universe’s plan. You will act within the general borders of that plan according to the right incentives.
Determine what your incentives will be. Perhaps you dislike your job, but you aren’t ready to move to another. You can then decide that you’ll wait until you see better opportunities advertised on the job board or until a time of the year when you feel happier (usually summer).
You don’t actually have to work at full throttle all the time. It’s okay to wait and let things play out before you intervene and change the world around you. It also will give you the encouragement to feel like you’re in a more advantageous position to do so if you wait until you’re ready rather than pushing before then.
Sometimes being confident is more about waiting for the right opportunity instead of making the opportunity through sheer force of will.
Extend Your Timelines
One thing I really like about “productivity guru” Cal Newport is his idea of slow productivity. Instead of planning things according to your immediate availability, plan things according to what you want to achieve over a lifetime.
The last card, Destiny, echoes this sentiment. Imagine someone’s destiny is to be a novelist. Most writing (and productivity advice) centers on what you can do today. And that might be to write 2,000 words. But sometimes, life gets in the way.
Instead, this writer would be better served by thinking of how many books they could write over their lifetime and setting goals not on a daily basis, but perhaps on a monthly or quarterly basis instead.
I want you to look at your destiny the same way. Whether you know what this destiny is specifically or not, stop trying to accomplish your destiny in a single day. You will boost your confidence by assigning the achievement of your destiny over the course of a lifetime.

It’s Okay to Be Different
You aren’t sure about your spiritual life. The third card in your spread, Insecurity, gets to the heart of the matter. See how the man is protecting his heart from a devil figure?
Most spiritual people only encounter positive experiences and spirits, but that’s not universally true. It seems like there are elements of your spiritual life you feel are harmful and it’s causing your confidence in spirituality, and in your life path, to be uncertain.
First: don’t blame yourself. Personalities are different. While meditation works for almost everyone, I tend to hyperventilate, fall asleep, or wiggle uncontrollably. Just because something in spirituality is true or works for others doesn’t mean it’ll work for you.
And perhaps the reason why you need to boost your confidence is that something about your spiritual life and pursuit is lacking in that department. Maybe you don’t identify with the idea of a life purpose, destiny, spirit guides, and so on – that’s okay.
Your insecurity isn’t a sign of something wrong with you, but a sign that you should approach spirituality differently.
Trust Your Gut
The first card in your spread, Mysticism, is about the personal experience of the spiritual. While you may be used to this word referring to more new age or gnostic topics, mysticism actually exists in more traditional religions too.
I think you may feel pressured to pursue spirituality in a standard way and that’s not working for you. Instead, I want you to clear your mind of any “you should do this” and try approaching spirituality based on your interests and gut feelings.
For example, someone may feel like they should talk to their spirit guides, but realize they don’t like this, so they speak to their ancestors or the trees.
Be open to an infinite number of possibilities – but possibilities tailored to you.
Ultimately, the diversity of spiritual expression suggests that humans may not have a clearly defined understanding of the spiritual realm. That leaves a lot open to interpretation – and you can interpret things uniquely for your own experience.
Others may not agree with your interpretations, but it’s not about you instructing others, but about experiencing what you need to experience to feel connected to the divine.
Don’t Always Listen
The next card in your spread is Impasse, which means coming to an obstacle with another force. I do think that whatever spiritual entities you’re interacting with either directly or indirectly also don’t know how to reach you.
I think the most common example of this would be spirit guides and ancestors. Sometimes they’re very opinionated, but their opinions are just wrong. Could you imagine an ancestral spirit from a thousand years ago trying to guide a computer programmer to make the right career decision? Yeah, it wouldn’t work.
Be mindful of the spiritual entities you work with or allow to influence you. If you suspect their messages or signs don’t apply to the situation, it’s okay not to defer to their wisdom.
You may want to try and forge connections with other entities. Some of you may want to forgo the spirit guide realm entirely for some or all areas of life, depending on how accurate they’ve been with their assistance.
Also, you can choose to keep them around, but remember: you’re the one that has to live with any decisions you make. Take their advice into consideration, but the loudest voice should always be your own.

3 always calls me. This time it was so true. I am searching for spiritual answers. I’m not satisfied with my results. I want to blend traditional with my own bend!! I think there is a greater purpose. I am different. I think the reading was spot on. Thank you. Namaste 🙏
I’m so glad it could help, Deb! I bet you can create an amazing (and unique) spiritual experience for yourself! 🙂
