Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic tarot reading on May 2024. Astrologically, Jupiter will sextile Neptune on the 23rd and enter Gemini on the 25th. Expect an expansion of curiosity and communication, especially in areas of creativity and spirituality at the end of the month.

Pile 1: Hedgehog

Oracle Cards

The astrological energy of Jupiter entering Gemini and making a sextile to Neptune is going to really benefit you this month – but mostly at the end.

Keep the good things in mind though because it’ll be what you remember looking back. The first oracle card, Good Luck, indicates you’ll have generally good fortune. But because of your bottom four cards and this being a black cat, traditionally meaning bad luck, I think the start of May will feel a little unlucky.

This cat is wearing a crown though and the sign ruled by Jupiter is actually Leo. I think you’ll find your luck will improve when you step into your sense of authority and luxury. Treat yourself like royalty this month.

The second oracle card is Travel. You’re going to go someplace far or someplace new. While you’re welcome to ignore this part of the reading, I don’t recommend it. The curiosity at work this month and the opportunity to be blessed by unexpected circumstances suggest you’ll suffer from a FOMO feeling, fear of missing out, if you decide to ignore this.

The final oracle card, Financial Health, suggests you’ll either balance your budget or come into money this month. Just remember that this probably won’t occur until the last week.

Spirituality

The Queen of Pentacles, Reversed suggests you’ll struggle to juggle your spiritual and material life. One of them is going to be sacrificed, and I think you should focus less on ritual or merely financial concerns.

Listen to your heart and try exploring something new. This could be something you read about and it’ll expand your mind, but you might want to experiment spiritually as well.

Just make sure you aren’t overwhelming yourself. Sometimes, curiosity can cause us to saturate and overindulge ourselves on whatever project we pursue.

Relationships

The Empress, Reversed is one of three earth-related cards in your spread that are reversed. Here I sense that you will either be self-absorbed or at odds with someone in your life, probably a significant other.

My guess for why this is happening is that you’re transitioning into Jupiter in Gemini energy and you’re pursuing your curiosity to its logical conclusions. But this can lead to you introverting more than normal and ignoring the people in your life.

Instead of reading a book, why not watch a documentary with someone you enjoy spending time with? See how you can channel your curiosity into quality time? Perhaps you could travel or go to a restaurant you haven’t been to as well.

Career

You’re going to be a bit short-sighted this month when it comes to material things. You can’t see it very well in the pictures, but one of my more golden strands of hair fell on the Ten of Pentacles, Reversed card. Because we know that you’re more likely to have financial health at the end of the month, I have a theory about this.

There will be frustration in your financial circumstances in May, but a happy event or budgeting decision will occur around the last week that will set a positive tone for the rest of the year.

Personal Development

This is an interesting card. The Queen of Swords is the only upright card for the topical areas of your life, but since the top oracle cards are so positive, I see this as a sign you’ll direct a lot of the good luck yourself.

The Queen of Swords is about being emotionally certain of your rational decisions and the actions you take to manifest them. There’s a bit of cold logic here, but not so much that you’re bereft of empathy for others or yourself.

I think that your curiosity, while sidetracking you for most of the month, will result in a eureka moment that gives you a clear sense of purpose. You’ll cut everything useless away and end the month ready to do what matters to you.

Oracle Cards

You have an amazing month ahead of you. The first oracle card, Inspiration, indicates an activation of spiritual energy and support. I wouldn’t be surprised if your spirit guides or muses empower you to create or act on your passions.

That’s going to be pretty exciting, especially since the second card, Love, means you’ll be doing things that you really care about – or meeting someone special.

For those who are single and looking for a relationship, pay attention to any flirtatious behavior. And go ahead and flirt with those you find attractive – the energy here is promising to find a match.

Those already in a relationship, you’ll feel closer to your partner and have some passionate moments together.

If you’re not looking for romance or you’re creative, you’ll likely discover a project idea that really inspires you. It’s going to be something you want to create and you’ll make a lot of progress this month – and some of you will even finish it.

The last card, Manifestation, is a clear sign that you’re going to have some tangible progress on things you’re trying to attract or create in the world.

Spirituality

The Queen of Wands is an amazing card to pull for spirituality because she’s often associated with witchy, fiery energy – and that’s definitely in place with your oracle cards.

You’ll find your spirit guides and own spiritual powers especially potent this month. Definitely try to manifest, but other spiritual activities, even fun ones like ghost hunting, might be really exciting to try.

Just make sure that what you’re choosing to do has meaning to you. There’s a lot of personal emphasis in your spread this month. Focus on you.

Relationships

My first thought when I saw The Moon, Reversed is that a secret will be revealed to you. But because of your oracle cards, I think quite a few people who chose this pile might have a love confession on the horizon.

But for the rest, this is an indication that your routine will be shaken up. Expect things to be different socially, but I think it’ll be for the better.

Career

Some intense culmination and manifestation here with The World card. It could also be a sign that worldly forces in your environment hit you in a good way. Perhaps the economy favors you or something fortunate happens around you in general.

This is a good energy to work with when it comes to your career and there may be some exciting opportunities you’ll want to explore.

Personal Development

I think you may push yourself a bit too hard this month, causing you to want to conserve your energy. The Four of Pentacles is about frugality and protecting what’s yours. This seems to be in contrast to the rest of your spread, so I suspect you may get a little wild and then pull back once you see how much you spent yourself.

I’d recommend setting a budget this month, even if it’s something you don’t normally do, and carve out time to rest. Don’t spend all your time on creative projects, intimate time with your significant other, or pursuing spirituality or work projects.

You’ll need to unwind – or you’ll unravel at the end of the month and need to go into a temporary hibernation. Not that there’s anything wrong with hibernating now and again. I just don’t want you to feel forced into one.

Oracle Cards

This seems to be a quieter and more subtle month for you. Although I don’t see anything negative truly happening, a lot of what occurs will be psychological and emotional processing. Your higher self is going to be busy at a spiritual level!

The first card, Boundaries, features a woman casting a circle around her. I sense this will be a boundary in your life that’s unseen, but must be respected. You could be setting personal limits you adhere to for your own health or establishing social boundaries for those in your life not to cross.

This could be a sign that you’re overwhelmed by some of the people you encounter and you not only need a break, you need them to step back.

Your second card, Peace, means you’ll have the peace that you seek. Just know that this peace isn’t likely to be dramatic, but instead, a softer energy of relaxation. Consider pursuing self-care or looking into elements of slow living.

It’s possible you may be hustling too much and it’s driving you mad!

The last oracle card in your spread is Blessings, indicating that Jupiter will be expanding something in your life. Not everyone knows the time they were born, but if you do, you can generate your natal chart and determine which house Jupiter will be activating blessings in.

But if you don’t know, just be aware that you’re due some blessings in May.

Spirituality

With the Nine of Cups, Reversed, I sense that you’ll wish for a specific blessing and it won’t come true. You’ll be tempted to try and activate and control your blessing using your spiritual life, but it’s not going to come true (at least not this month).

Instead, your blessing will come in a manner you don’t expect, but it will be something you need. You’ll feel grateful for this – but probably not at first.

Relationships

The Sun, Reversed is a negative card, but it’s considered a temporary negativity. Because we know from your oracle cards that you need to set boundaries, I suspect that’s what’s going on here.

You’re going to feel as if you’re taken advantage of until you draw the line. Unfortunately, the people who are making you feel bad are those who are close to you. They probably don’t mean to make you feel awful, but that’s why you need to set boundaries.

Everyone in your life needs to be trained in how you want to be treated. And you deserve to be treated in a way you expect. Those who truly care for you will learn to respect your boundaries, even if they may struggle at first.

Career

This is a good month to work alone. The Three of Pentacles, Reversed suggests you won’t want interference or busybodies in the form of bosses or coworkers. If you have customers or clients, you may want to check your e-mail less or do more independent projects.

Working by yourself will help you to establish your personal boundaries. I don’t think you fully understand what it is you need to feel healthy and whole. Working by yourself will teach you how you want to feel.

If you don’t get to set your own schedule, try not to take on extra responsibilities outside work – and if you do, demand that your agreement to do so means you don’t have to answer to anyone for a change. This is not the month you deserve to be micromanaged!

Personal Development

You’re going to be more aware this month. The Four of Swords, Reversed is my awakening card. At first, you’re going to feel on edge and a little anxious, but by the end of the month, you should feel a sense of inner peace.

It will require you establishing those boundaries and spending time by yourself, though. I don’t think you fully understand how annoyed and exhausted you are. It’s time to take a break so you can see things clearly when you get back into your normal routine.
