Six Months From Now: Tarot Pick a Card
A lot can happen in a few months. Some of your best-laid plans can go awry or some fortunate blessing may be coming your way. The universe has directed you towards this tarot pick a card to help prepare you for the near future.
All you have to do is look at the piles of cards above. Which animal stands out to you the most? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading!
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Gilded Tarot and the Fin de Siecle Kipper Oracle decks (these are affiliate links that support me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s find out what’s waiting for you six months from now.
Pile 1: Sloth
Good Time in Life
Something very pleasant is on its way to you! Your first card is Marriage. For those in a relationship, this is a strong indication that a bigger commitment is on the way, such as moving in together, having children, or the rather obvious getting engaged and married.
But what’s indicated by this card is a “happy ending” so this card can be read in several different ways. This is an all-encompassing happiness card, so I do expect that you should be pretty happy six months from now and there will likely be multiple things going right in your life.
It will probably be ushered in by some particular event or feeling you have. This will come across as a harmonious union or something akin to a sacred ceremony. And, like a marriage, there will likely be some indication and momentum toward that happiness in the months leading up to it.
Sustained Happiness
Your next card is Three of Pentacles. This is about sacred work or working towards something with a higher purpose. The happiness set to come your way has a greater meaning than simple enjoyment. It’s a sign that you’re leaving one phase of life and entering another.
That phase of life promises a lot of potential, but, like marriage, it’s going to require some work on your part for it to succeed.
A good marriage requires that both partners have common goals and a willingness to communicate with each other. For you, something similar is going to be required. As you progress towards your happiness, make sure that it’s in alignment with some greater good and that you’ll be able to make adjustments as needed.
And while your spread is a happy one, be aware that marriages do have conflict, so whatever happiness is coming your way and the next phase of your life will have its own set of challenges. Some of those challenges will be new for you and difficult to deal with.
Have patience with yourself (and with another person, if they’re involved). If you value whatever is going to bring you happiness, you’ll be able to make it last. Some marriages are happy lifelong, after all!
Right to Happiness
I see the final card as you. Here we have the Page of Swords. This represents someone at the beginning of a journey. Traditionally, this features a young man without armor braving the wind. However, this deck is more peaceful in its symbolism.
I sense that you’ll have the composure necessary to weather the challenges you’re going to face, at least in the near future. I believe this is why you’ll be able to usher in this period of happiness that’s coming.
So if you face difficulties over the next few months, feel confident that you can overcome or outlast them. Happiness is your destiny if you let it be.

Pile 2: Owl
Heroine of the Story
Your first card is Main Female. Because of the rest of your spread, I have two interpretations: this represents either a woman in your life or embracing your inner power. For most of you who chose this pile, I lean more toward the second interpretation, but at least a few of you have the first.
For those with the first interpretation, there’s going to be a powerful woman in your life who knows how to make things happen. They act as if they’re the heroine of their own story and everyone else is a supporting character. If you’re her ally, things will go well for you, but if you’re her enemy… watch out!
For everyone else, that main character energy is you, but it’s more personal and hidden. You’re trying to advocate for yourself and bravely live your life, but most of that moving force is acting within you.
Be aware that some of what you’re going to do six months from now is more subtle than you’re used to. But it will be powerful and it will be to your benefit.
Soft Power
Your next card, Strength, is a continuation of the first. This card more aptly describes an inner strength. The woman is able to overpower the beast with her quiet, feminine power.
Whether you’re a man or a woman, understand that traditionally feminine traits are good and can be used productively in anyone’s life. Empathy and precision will serve you well here, but especially patience.
For those of whom with spread references someone else, don’t look at her Main Female energy as if she were a man. She’s not going to act directly or aggressively. It will be subtle and almost graceful.
As for those of whom this spread references you personally, understand that you need to start using your more introverted or “softer” traits to your advantage. Some might even consider it manipulative!
But not every challenge in life requires a hammer. Six months from now, you’re going to be best served with a softer application of your powers, such as diplomacy or nurturing.
Bad Investment
The last card serves as a warning. Here we have the Seven of Pentacles, Reversed. Even though the woman in your life or yourself is using their power to advocate for themselves, something they do isn’t going to work out as planned.
This is a card of nurturing, but that nurturing failing. I think the result is the same no matter which interpretation you resonate with in this spread: that feminine energy is going to focus on too many things or the wrong things and it’s going to nurture something which would never work out.
You know how there’s a stereotype that women will try to “fix” bad boys or bad dogs? It doesn’t always work out, does it?
If this spread is referring to a woman in your life, try to help them to see if an investment they’re making won’t work out. If you’re the “beast” she’s trying to tame… you may need to do some introspection. Or avoid her. Don’t let yourself be the villain in someone else’s story.
As for those who are trying to use feminine traits to your advantage, be careful. Only invest your intense effort in what really matters to you. And check to see if there’s a rational reason to believe it’s worthwhile. The approach isn’t wrong… but the choice of where to apply that effort is.

Pile 3: Red Panda
Be Mentally Strong
With your first card being Imprisonment, you may be worried about what’s going to happen to you six months from now. My overall impression of your spread is that you’re on track for feeling “stuck” with a decision or where you are in life… but that it is avoidable.
Imprisonment like this implies a crime, or more specifically in your case, a bad decision that shouldn’t have been made. I don’t necessarily think you’re going to commit a crime, but I do think you’re going to do something you shouldn’t and you’ll suffer the fallout because of it.
That said, the course of events is entirely within your control. See how the person in this card has one hand out of his cell and a mouse is his company? While mice can be seen as a symbol of plague, they’re also tough creatures who manage to get into any place no matter how obscure. And they can also get out.
I sense that, like the mouse, you’re tougher than you think.
Look for Proof
So what is going to happen exactly? Your second card, Four of Cups, indicates that you’re going to be offered something. In fact, you might be given multiple offers. But you won’t choose the right one.
Perhaps that is because you pick something tempting, but false, or you refuse all your choices and suffer because of your hesitation.
The mouse appears again on this card. Because the mouse appears friendly in the last card, I interpret this to mean that one of your options is better than the others… and it is probably not the one you think.
There’s another animal on this card I want to point out: the squirrel. Squirrels hide acorns for winter. Sometimes they even forget where they are! I believe that the best way you can make a decision is to stop and critically think about it.
Don’t be impulsive: find the acorns of your past which helps you to determine which option resonates more than the others logically. You may need to do some digging to get to the bottom of it.
Don’t Let Yourself Get Stuck
Your final card is Nine of Wands, Reversed. Although I think you’ll be constrained if you make a bad decision… it won’t be the end of the world. This card suggests you’ll avoid serious wounds, but likely feel alone or abandoned.
Be aware that if you fail to make the right decision, you may enter into a period of your life where you won’t have the ability to make any changes, bad or good. You’ll simply be stuck with no resources to overcome it until fate intervenes.
I don’t think this will last forever, but it will be frustrating for you. That’s why you need to make sure you aren’t impulsive in your decision-making over the next six months and that you base any important decisions on a good foundation.
But don’t be worried about this reading: you’ve already glimpsed into a possible future and now you can more easily prevent it. I have confidence you can manifest the life you want and make a good decision for yourself.
