Your Relationship With Money — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic tarot reading on your relationship with money. If it’s good, we’ll find out how to use that to your advantage. If it’s bad, we’ll look into fixing it.
To receive your message from the universe, pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Everyday Witch Tarot deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to uncover your relationship with money.
Pile 1: Magic Bottle

Check Yourself
You have a lot of positivity to work with here, so I’m not concerned. The first card, Two of Swords, Reversed, indicates difficulty making decisions. You need to be more decisive, but you either don’t have all the facts you need or you aren’t considering the data that’s available. However, that data is within reach.
This is a clear sign in your spread that you aren’t following a good money strategy. This probably has to do with budgeting or major financial decisions, though for some of you it could be investing.
I’d recommend reviewing a trusted and respected financial resource in your country like a book or professional advisor.
But your spread does indicate that once you review this information this won’t be a problem for you anymore. So a temporary obstacle to manifesting wealth rather than a wall that you can’t get past.
It’s nice when problems have easy solutions. Your easy solution is just listening and following traditional money advice.
Good Luck On the Horizon
The happy news of your spread is that you have the best possible card I could have pulled for this reading: the Wheel of Fortune. You either have money, are about to get it, or frequently encounter opportunities that could lead to financial comfort.
That said, this is a wheel and it turns and turns through cycles. This means it’s an up and down relationship unless you stop the wheel on good fortune. Which you can do if you review how you’re making financial decisions and checking that you’re doing the right thing.
Once that happens, opportunity will find you or existing wealth will be maintained. The universe is smiling upon you when it comes to wealth. You just need to make sure you aren’t shutting the door.
Loose With Spending
The Four of Pentacles, Reversed suggests a lack of conservation of your money. I think you’re making financial decisions that put you in a worse position. Perhaps you’re spending more than you should, putting money where it shouldn’t be going, or not prioritizing effectively.
Your country may differ, but in America, we have the budgeting rule that 50% of your income should go to needs, 30% to wants, and 20% to debts, savings, or charity. Your housing should also not exceed more than 30% of your income. In high-cost cities like New York this obviously doesn’t hold true, but it works for most of the country.
The point behind this budget and the lesson to be learned is to understand and have financial priorities. Take some time either drafting a budget or creating a tiered list of life priorities that you know will cost money. Perhaps that’s going to school, buying a house, or saving for retirement.
Knowing what your priorities are, and writing them down, will help you to make sure your money goes there first before anywhere else. Then you’ll build financial security in that priority.
So the essence of your spread is this: look into traditional advice or professionals in your country and follow it. That needs to be your relationship with money.

Pile 2: Rainbow Fire

The Moment Isn’t Enough
There’s someone in your life influencing you to spend more money than you should. The first card, The Sun, is a sign that you like spending this money when it happens or enjoy the social approval of others by doing so.
As a teenager, I was often influenced by my friends to spend my pocket money and sell things I valued. I vividly remember having a special edition Pokémon Gameboy that my friend manipulated me into selling just so we could have pocket money. I only got $20 for selling it secondhand and I could never play it again.
But I didn’t realize how I would regret this decision in the moment: my friend acted like I was the best person ever and then all we could afford were burgers and cheap toys from the dollar store!
The moral of this story and your card is that you shouldn’t assume present happiness is sustained happiness when influenced by other people to spend money. You might be experiencing manipulation.
Be Aware of Secret Manipulators
Who is influencing you exactly? The Queen of Wands, Reversed is a negative social influence. It could be a woman, but I primarily sense this is someone in your social network who is either manipulating you directly or influencing you to spend money you regret spending.
This person is big on status, reputation, or appearance and is causing you to fall into their line of thinking even if that’s not the real you. So mean girl energy. Instead of fighting with fists, this person fights with words.
They may make snide comments that cause you to question your worth so you spend money. Or they say things that cause you to question if a relationship is truly good unless you spend money. The result is the same: less money in your bank account.
Now this could be a true friend, but that’s only the case if this person has bad money skills and is a good friend in other areas. If you have to compete or sacrifice a lot just to get them to be decent to you this isn’t someone you should spend time with.
Because in that case, their manipulation is actually a strategy to put you in a worse situation and them in a better situation. Their design is for you to always lose.
It’s Better to Be Alone Sometimes
With the final card being The Hermit, the advice the universe has for you is clear: cut off this person from your life as much as possible. Otherwise, you’ll be tricked into temporary bliss while they siphon your financial security away.
Your approach depends upon this person’s morality. If they’re a good person but hilariously bad with money, then you need to affirm to yourself again and again that anything they say related to money has to be 100% ignored. Every time. They might be good in other areas, but stop the conversation or let it go one ear and out the other.
If this person is manipulating you on purpose, physical distance is going to be required because this person isn’t just tricking you, but the people around you too. They’ll find a way to get others to manipulate you in their stead. Their power is especially potent if they’re family or co-workers due to the obligation you’ll feel to them that you wouldn’t feel in a normal friendship.
Cut them off, switch jobs, or even move if it’s in your power.
Your relationship to money in this spread hasn’t been a general statement, but rather an acute diagnosis of an existing problem. Fix this person’s influence and your wealth will grow.

Pile 3: Glamorous Crystal

You’re Going to Manifest It
You have a very positive spread and it seems like you’re either doing the right things or about to do the right things. However, every card here is minor arcana so the outcome of all your hard work may not manifest immediately. Have patience.
The first card, Eight of Pentacles, is about working with quiet tenacity and perfectionism. You’re either an excellent employee or you’re very skilled in managing your money. Either way, the future is bright for you: it doesn’t seem as if you’re making any major missteps. Anything mistakes you do make will be quickly caught and corrected.
This is a good energy and I think you can build toward major and long-term wealth. But be aware this is a growth and building care, so don’t assume a quick turnaround of financial glory.
Instead, consider what level of wealth would be true financial comfort for you. Then consider the amount of work that will be required to get there. Does it match the lifestyle you want for yourself? If not either downgrade your expectations or consider the fact you may be able to manifest that future… but only if you’re a workaholic.
You shouldn’t live just to make money unless you enjoy the chase. Instead, live to obtain the lifestyle that permits comfort and personal fulfillment.
Know Your Heart
I do think you’re rather strategic in your approach. The Seven of Swords is about being on the right side of cunning. You may be a bit ruthless at times, but in your favor. Just be aware you may take risks that others wouldn’t in your pursuit to get money.
This leads me to caution you that your relationship with money may be transactional instead of stemming from a moral foundation. That means you may take a job because of the salary and not because you would enjoy it. Or you would be easily influenced to do something ethical just to make ends meet.
Consider what pressure points you have when it comes to money that would cause you to act against your better moral judgment. Then, orient yourself toward better behavior. You’ll be happier with yourself in the end and enjoy the lifestyle you have more.
Flowing Abundance
The final card is Six of Pentacles. This is a charitable card and it’s also a card that indicates you’re either in a positive cash flow or you will be soon. That means you’ll have enough money to share with others if you wanted (and you may want to!). Gift for your loved ones may be in order.
This could also be why you’re so cunning and willing to act unethically. You see money as a tool to do good things, and it can, but are you earning money for an outcome where the means doesn’t justify the ends?
You should know most people don’t like to go back to a lower standard of living, so each time you’re generous with money you may feel external pressure to keep being charitable to others. This may cause you to make personal sacrifices in your lifestyle and what you do for a living just to make others happy.
You need to make you happy to. Money is tool for you as well. A tool for your happiness and fulfillment. Start using it that way and your relationship with money will lead to fulfillment as well as comfort.

Hello!
The description of the 2nd spread does not correspond to the cards on the image =o
Thank you very much for your readings who are always very interesting to read 🙂
Thanks for letting me know! I must have copied the wrong section from my word document. It’s fixed now. 🙂
I hesitated between two piles because i have complicated relationships with money – and behold! you put the 1 pile picture into the 2 pile reading, and vice versa!! i take the two, then, ’cause i could not choose between these very piles. haven’t read them yet, but wanted to let you know about this incident. now i go back and read the explanations.
Thanks for letting me know, Anna! It’s been fixed now. 🙂
I love this reading. It was so on point for me. Thank you. PILE 3 resonated with me. I’m prone to seeing money as transactional. It’s scary for me to think I might not have an income but I’m ready for a better relationship with money.
I’m sending positive energy your way in hopes abundance will find you even sooner. 🙂
Another great article!
Thank you so much, Connie! 🙂
