Your Love Story: Tarot Pick a Card
Whether you’re single or in a relationship, it can be helpful to know the narrative of your love story so far. This will let you make adjustments if needed or enjoy the fortune you currently have. It’s easy with this psychic tarot pick a card.
All you have to do is look at the piles of cards above. What cupid cat sticks out to you the most? That’s your pile and your tarot reading.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Light Seer’s tarot deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s uncover your love story.
Pile 1: Heart Cat
A Difficult Past
When it comes to the past portion of your love story, times were difficult. Your first card, the Four of Wands, Reversed, indicates that it wasn’t as happy or full of celebrations as you would have wanted.
For some of you, this could mean that you were unlucky in love. Perhaps the person you were seeing was terrible for you or you were unable to find anyone at all. The result, however, is the same. Your love life left much to be desired and you may have even been a little ashamed to talk about it.
However, not everyone who chose this pile was unhappily connected with another person. In this case, the love you had was real (and perhaps is continuing to this day), but the circumstances of life destroyed the happiness that should have rightfully been yours.
The good news? For both energies in this card, this unhappiness will transform into pure joy.
Blessings to Come
Your second card, the Ten of Cups, is my favorite card to see for long-term romantic success. This is a card of emotional fulfillment, and we see that reflected in the couple happily watching their children play.
Even though the past has been hard, I do sense that things are going to change. For those who are single, you’re going to find your soulmate and spend the rest of your lives together. And that life? It may have some difficult times, sure, but overall, you’re going to have the experience that parents do whether you have children or not: contentment over your choices and complete fulfillment. Everything will be worth it.
As for those of you in a good relationship right now, be prepared for your life circumstances to be more favorable. Perhaps you’ll buy a house or become more integrated with your community. For some of you, this may mean children or grandchildren.
There’s always more to commit to in a relationship, and whatever that commitment may be, you and your partner are going to agree to see what the next chapter of life has in store for you.
Have an Organized Relationship
But how will this happen? Your last card, The Hierophant, has a clue. This is a card of order and tradition. I sense, that whatever your relationship status is right now, you need to look at your life and ask what needs to have a tidier and more traditional fit.
Try not to rebel too much even if you’re naturally wild. Relationships need some order since you’re involved with another person. This can be as simple as determining what your values are and finding another person with those same values.
However, if you’re already in a relationship this means negotiating the type of life you want to live. Be aware that your significant other is never going to agree with you 100% of the time, and that’s okay, but you should agree most of the time on the most important things and accept compromises on what you don’t.
Once you identify the life values you need to have, stick to them – and only change them in a relationship with the mutual agreement of your partner.
The world is chaotic, but your love life doesn’t have to be.

Pile 2: Standing Cat
You Don’t Have to Justify Yourself to Anyone
Your spread is really interesting and complex. For some of you, I sense that you may be “forever alone” or not as interested in romance compared to others, but you would like to explore the possibility. However, some in this pile feel as if love has only hurt them and they aren’t sure if romance is something they’re allowed to expect.
Whichever energy you are in this pile, your first card, the Seven of Wands, Reversed, indicates that you won’t have to defend your life decisions as much as you have in the past. You may be “weird” or different from others, especially when it comes to romance, so nobody understands how to approach you.
This can be exhausting not only when it comes to finding romantic partners, but also with family and friends who just won’t leave you alone about your love life.
There’s something very zen about this card, and I think you’re either starting to or about to come to peace with who you are and your sexuality. This is important because you’re about to go through a transformative experience.
You’re About to Change
The next card in your spread is the Death and Rebirth card. The card in this deck differs from many Death cards in others: the creator wants you to focus on the mysticism of soul rebirth.
I believe you’re about to turn yourself inside out to find that part deep inside of you which needs to shine out in the world. You’ve shrouded yourself in the past to meet social expectations, but you’re going to find that’s not going to make you happy in the long run.
Some of you in this pile may choose to not pursue relationships anymore, while others are finally going to be themselves and find the person who will respect that.
Whichever person you are, know that either path is valid as long as it makes you happy. Yes, a relationship is an amazing experience, but it’s only amazing if it’s one of mutual joy between you and a partner.
Who you are today and who you are in the future are going to be different people. That’s because you’re still finding the way to your heart and how to reflect that out in the world.
Your love story, in essence, is about coming to love yourself. Other people will love that person too, platonically and perhaps even romantically.
No Longer Fighting for Control
Your last card is the Four of Swords. In a traditional tarot deck, this is a person lying in a tomb at rest, but here, we see a woman lying in a nest with what almost looks like Cupid’s bow and a smile on her face. How fitting for your spread, am I right? This card follows the heartbreak card of the tarot, and I read this here as you overcoming that heartbreak and being at emotional peace.
That peace is one where you now have control. See how the woman here is holding Cupid’s bow? No longer will other people be controlling your romantic or sexual life. You are in control. And now? Now you can finally rest from all the frustration and having to defend who you are.

Pile 3: Arrow Cat
Too Much Cold Hard Truth
Your first card is the King of Swords. Here we see a man with symbols of wisdom, such as the raven and owl. This is a man who knows how to make decisions with all the background knowledge he needs.
However, something is wanting in his emotional resonance. He can be a bit blunt at times, so some may even see him as heartless.
I see this as being part of your past. You had a lot of ideas that turned out to be right, but that didn’t translate as well to your love life. This may have led to people turning you down or breaking it off because they felt uncomfortable with your heavy truths.
This can be frustrating as you were objectively right, but the truth can be painful. You didn’t know how to balance your mind and your heart effectively to have the emotional depth in love you wanted.
But things are about to change for you.
You Can Love as Yourself
Your next card, the Two of Pentacles, features a woman balancing two coins in the shape of the infinity symbol. Here I see the practicality of balancing your mind and your heart.
Pentacles are in the suit of earth and it’s a feminine element. Here, the creator of the deck chose to illustrate the person as a woman. I sense you’re going to embody an emotional side that’s going to serve you well.
However, this emotional side is not the flimsy and floozy caress of water, but the stable and unyielding heart of earth. This is going to be easier for you to accept and take on because you’re going to realize that being emotional doesn’t have to mean telling white lies or being unrealistic.
Allow yourself to be pragmatic, but make sure your emotions have a tangible quality to them. Where you’re unable to emotionally express yourself in words, consider gifts or acts of love.
Over time, you’ll be able to balance your mind and heart effectively without having to change the parts of your personality you like.
Love Is a Straight Arrow
The third card in your spread is the Seven of Cups, Reversed. I like to read the card in this position as being certain of the choices in front of you. Upright, this is a card of immense potential, but also risk. As a reverse, you’re able to see the right path and make a fully informed decision.
I sense for the singles in this pile you’re going to learn how to properly vet a significant other so you can match with someone who understands your personality and you understand theirs. This is key to long-term relationship success.
As for those already in a good relationship, you’re going to see a path forward together which is clear of any dangers. Because you’ll know how to express yourself emotionally, the chemistry will be more passionate and it will seem like your relationship gets better and better with each year.
For both energies, understand not every path is valid, and while multiple paths can be valid, once you make a commitment – stick to it. Your significant other will appreciate it.
