What’s Fading in Your Life: Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! This tarot reading is about uncovering what is fading from your life, good or bad so you can either manifest that or reject it as needed.
All you have to do is pick the pile that sticks out to you the most. Which crystal inspires your intuition? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Everyday Witch Tarot deck and the Creebuy Astro Dice (these are affiliate links that support me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s find out what’s fading in your life.
Pile 1: Strawberry Calcite
Reality Check
According to the Astro dice, which represent the First House of body and personality, Pisces, and the South Node, what’s fading in your life is a sense of illusions that is negative to you.
This is both a good and bad thing. What I see happening is that you’re getting a necessary dose of reality, but you’re also letting that taint your optimism. It’s good to be rational, but it’s irrational to be hopeless. When you’re hopeless you give up and you don’t deserve that. You deserve improvement.
Like the Good in You
The first tarot card in your spread, The Sun, Reversed, serves as a reminder that you’re denying a healthy sense of dreaming in your life. It’s okay to plan and be cautious, but you should prepare for the worst and hope for the best instead of assuming the worst and accepting it as inevitable.
Ask yourself where you’re self-sabotaging your dreams. It might be big things, like not pursuing a career because it doesn’t make a lot of money, or something small, like not watching corny movies because you don’t want to seem dumb.
Embrace who you are – especially the happy parts.
Successful Avoidance of Bad Things
Your second tarot card is the Seven of Swords, Reversed. I don’t think your intentions to be realistic are bad and that’s why I don’t want you to give up rationality entirely. Something happened in the past or is happening now that has caused you to take protective action.
The good news is that your efforts will serve you well to avoid the bad, but it seems like you may go too far and box up your dreams. If you’re too protective of your dreams you won’t even allow yourself to touch them!
Dream Big and Dream Often
The final card in your spread is the Three of Wands. I do think you’re on the verge of growth or it’s very easy for you to achieve. Perhaps just seeing this tarot reading is enough for you to realize how you’re self-sabotaging yourself and it stops immediately.
But some who chose this pile will need to work at it more. It’ll help you to have an expansive or abundant view of the world. The Law of Attraction is useful here, but more so a focus on a dream is key.
Notice I say dream, not a plan. Yes, it’s okay to make a plan, but I want you to spend a few minutes each day dreaming of your future.
This dreaming will allow you to preview your desired future and make changes to that vision. All dreams are dynamic and reflect changing conditions in our lives. So as you make a practice of daydreaming about your future, you’ll learn to get comfortable with small modifications in your daily schedule to help orient yourself in that direction.
Life changes step by step – but so do our dreams. Don’t miss a beat and enjoy the daydreaming ride.

Pile 2: Rainbow Moonstone
No Longer Dreaming
I see that your Astro dice are the Ninth House of education or travel, Pisces, and the Sun. What’s fading in your life isn’t anything bad or good, but merely a chapter. You’re transitioning into the next story of your life.
What you’re departing from seems to be some sort of training ground that was meant to prepare you for the future. This could be college, job training, beauty glow-ups in preparation for dating, dating before marriage, or anything where you’re learning or exploring before the next step in commitment.
That means you’re now manifesting your future instead of just dreaming or preparing for it. Things are about to get real.
You Deserve This
The first card in your spread is Two of Cups. This is the commitment or contract card. For those looking to start a relationship or enter the next phase of commitment, this is a very good sign. As for those hoping to start something new, it means that what you start has a promising future ahead.
Like the man and woman here (and the cats), there’s a sense of equality. In a relationship that means you’ve met your match, and for non-relationship matters, like starting a new job, it means you’re ready and capable.
It’s easy to take the transition from preparation to manifestation poorly. But don’t assume you don’t deserve to manifest what you want or that you aren’t good enough. This is a sign from the universe that you definitely are.
Moving in the Right Direction
I don’t know why, but when I saw this card, the Four of Pentacles, I thought of a wheelchair. But not in a disability sense – the wheels represent continuous movement. And pentacle coins are also round!
I think this means symbolically you’re entering into a stable cycle. Things are going to build and culminate many times in happy ways. It won’t always be sunshine and daisies, but whether it’s a relationship or a project you’re working on, it’s probably going to be a generally happy experience.
Feel confident that you’re in a good place. Just keep rolling.
Your Heart Has All the Answers
The last card is King of Wands. You’re going to master your passions. That means that whatever you’re moving into is going to be something you care about.
For some of you, this is what you were hoping for, but for others, you were a little worried that you prepared only to enter into a new chapter you’re going to hate. That’s not the case though.
Let’s use an example: say you went to college for a job, but your first day isn’t as you expected and you think you wasted your efforts. What’s going to happen soon is that you discover what you really like about it or you used what you learned to pivot to something else.
You’re going to be led by your passion so trust it. But don’t be led by your fear or disinterest. Look for passion first.

Pile 3: Unakite
Stop and Rethink
So I’m just going to be blunt: the universe is saying you’re making a mistake that’s going to cause unhappiness. But it can be avoided!
Let’s get into your Astro dice: the Fifth House of Creativity, Leo, and the Sun. All three of these dice represent the natural position of each and it’s one of the happiest placements possible. But that’s what’s fading in your life.
My assumption looking at these dice is that it refers to a hobby or passion, a relationship, or children (childfree, abortion, adoption, or alienation). You’re letting something go and it’s not going to be good for you.
Consider What Matters to YOU
Let’s talk about what’s going on here and how you can reverse the course. The first tarot card is the Nine of Pentacles, Reversed which can indicate a lack of abundance or feeling pressured by others. External influences are warping your perception.
This could lead you to turn away from your hobbies and act “rationally.” In relationships, you may cut off someone from your life for what could even be justifiable reasons, though you haven’t explored a compromise that could resolve issues. And for children, perhaps resource issues are causing you to forgo having children or not be in touch with the children you do have.
Know that, right now, whatever you’re going through, you aren’t thinking clearly because you aren’t using your own thoughts to make decisions. Stop letting other people make decisions for you and ask what it is you value in life.
I always wanted to have children, but I cared so much about classism from my upbringing that I avoided it. Well, now I’m disabled and it’s unlikely I’ll ever have children! I’d rather be working class with children than middle-class without them. See how other people’s thoughts can influence your own? And sometimes you can’t take it back.
But this time you can. So take advantage of that! Your values are not identical to someone else’s.
Personal Legacy Throttled
Your second card is the Ten of Pentacles, Reversed. You were planning for the long term or trying to do the rational thing, but it’s setting you up for considerable unhappiness and material instability.
Did you know an unhappy person is unlikely to live their life with enthusiasm? This means they’ll do the bare minimum at their job and in other areas of life. The reason you need to pursue your happiness instead of someone else’s is that you’re going to be the one to live your life. Not them.
Also, this is a potential indication for those of you delaying children that you may not get another chance.
So consider the future you dream about and work towards it. But make that vision yours.
Follow Your Interests
The third card in your spread is Seven of Pentacles, Reversed. Whatever you’re planning in life that’s not in alignment with your happiness isn’t going to work. Perhaps you won’t put enough effort in or you may not even be good at it.
Imagine the artist who decides to become a computer programmer – but they suck at math and logic. No matter how hard they study, they may never be able to match the natural talent of most programmers.
Your interests and desires are also indications of possible competencies. It’s not always right, but it’s generally close and you should take it seriously. You can pivot along the way and refine your interests into mastery.
Don’t let the good life you deserve fade because you’re trying to live someone else’s.
