Reach for the Stars: Tarot Pick a Card
The universe believes that you can achieve your wildest dream. You know the one: that dream you desperately think about when you look out the window or lie in bed at night.
All you have to do is look at the piles of cards above. Which rocket to the stars stands out to you the most? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading!
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Light Seer’s Tarot and the Starseed Oracle decks (these are affiliate links that support me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s find out how you can make your wildest dream come true.
Pile 1: Green Rocket
It’s Unclear
I see that the first card in your spread is The Seas of Mintaka with the wisdom message of “Seeing potential. Bringing unconsciousness to light.” It seems like you don’t fully know what your wildest dream is.
That may or may not sound weird to you, but it’s normal to have some ambiguity or vagueness surrounding something you desire. After all, it’s not something you have yet so you don’t know what it’s exactly like to have it.
The reason is simple: you don’t think it’s possible to obtain or you don’t know enough about it. For example, someone may dream about being an architect, but they don’t really know what a day of work would be like. So it’s almost impossible for them to imagine it in their mind.
There’s some quality of this when it comes to your dream. It may be just an aspect or, for some of you who chose this pile, you don’t know what it is you want most in the world.
That’s why you need to discover the details.
Play the Part
Your next card is Eight of Pentacles. This is going to manifest for you differently depending on who you are. For those who have a vague idea of what they want, you need to start “living as if” or researching more into your dream so it becomes tangible.
For you, knowledge is power. If you want to be a novelist, it would be a good idea to read books about how to write, watch videos from authors on YouTube, and other related activities. You need a model so you can follow it.
Don’t discount actually writing either. Practice is important for you because it lets you see how your personality would play out in the dream.
Maybe you want to be a fantasy novelist, but you don’t want to write epic fantasy, but dark fantasy. However, you may only realize that through practice.
As for those who have no idea at all what they want, you can start “collecting” traits to build into a future. Think of a college student who doesn’t know what they want to study. They take different classes that interest them until they find something that clicks.
Some students never find the perfect major at all and devise their own course of study with the permission of the college or double major to become a pioneer in a new field.
Be very comfortable with the fact that the reason you may not know what you want is either because you lack the experience to recognize you enjoy it… or because you don’t have any examples of it in your life. What child could dream of being a candle maker if every adult in their life works in healthcare?
Don’t Fight the Revelations
The last card in your spread is the Five of Wands, Reversed. This is an indication that you can’t fight the revelations that come your way. I sense at least something about them will be surprising or even unsettling. You may realize that you need to make a dramatic change or that you regret a past decision.
Take a deep breath: it’s going to be okay. You can reach for the stars and manifest your dream even if it seems like a new one or one where you’re starting from the ground up.

Pile 2: Purple Rocket
Not Ready
Your first card is Wait with the wisdom message of “It’s not yet time. Things are being woven.” This is a message from the universe that you can achieve your wildest dream, but there’s a blockage. This blockage is for your own good because there’s something you need to wait for.
Think of the person who wants to be an actor and they land a role in a movie. But the movie is going to be terrible. Although it would give them experience, it could also tarnish the actor’s brand or cause them to be typecast. It’s not the launching pad they should use for their career.
Something like that is happening with your dream. If you were to achieve it today, you couldn’t achieve it to its fullest potential. It would be compromised somehow and send you in the wrong direction. The universe is holding you back so you can make the most of it when it does happen.
Use Your Heart and Soul
The second card in your spread is Ace of Swords. This means that whatever your dream is, you only have a seed of awareness of it. You’re still at the beginning of your journey and there’s a lot for you to learn.
See how the spiral staircase goes into the head of the woman for infinity? That’s your dream. There’s greater potential than you realize, and I think that’s the reason why you’re being held back.
To some degree, beneficial fate is at play here. That’s not to say you’re powerless – quite the contrary. Even though the concept of waiting is strong in your spread, you still have a lot of autonomy.
What the universe wants you to do is be more open to divine inspiration as a tool to live your life. You can and should live rationally, but allowing the universe to motivate you in a non-mechanical way should help you to make the most of your opportunities.
Let’s go back to that actor from before. Strictly speaking, most actors aren’t good judges of scripts. They aren’t writers after all. They also tend to take whatever roles they can get.
This is the kind of rationality you shouldn’t employ: you don’t know the full programming of the universe ahead of you, so make sure you’re using your programming.
What’s your programming? Your intuition. The actor should always ask themselves how they feel about the script. Does it move them?
Use your intuition as another guide and you’ll find that waiting becomes a lot easier. Perhaps because waiting isn’t the right word. Instead, think of it as intuitive discernment.
Go Into Your Passionate Wild
Your third card is Two of Wands. This is a planning card, but the planning isn’t a rational one: it’s a passionate one. Think of somebody who dreams up the future they want and then visualizes how it can be achieved.
You’re like the woman in the card: gazing out the window and imagining herself where she can’t yet be. As you plan for your future, it’s okay to be a little “unrealistic.” Even if such dreams can’t come true, there’s a seed of personal truth within those desires. If you pursue those desires, you’re going to achieve something more similar than if you didn’t.
Remember the famous saying as your personal mantra: “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”

Pile 3: Blue Rocket
Trust the Universe
I sense a lot of anxiety and worry in your spread. The first card, Breath of the Cosmos, has the wisdom message of “My will to thy will. Micromanaging the universe.” This indicates that you’re trying to manifest all the little details of your dream and losing the big picture.
Think of a bad middle manager at a workplace. They try to control every aspect of your schedule, look over every little thing you do, and interrupt when you’re in the middle of something just to check the progress. Maddening, right? If they just trusted you and let you work in peace, you’d get a lot more done.
Right now, this is your relationship with the universe when it comes to your wildest dream. You’re trying to force a bunch of little things instead of trusting the universe to fill in the gaps.
Focus On the Important
The next card, Nine of Swords, Reversed, is about releasing anxiety and worry. I’m not saying you shouldn’t keep track of little things. However, you need to make sure you’re prioritizing what’s important. That’s where the majority of your attention should be.
Let’s say that you want to be an artist. Someone who wants to micromanage that dream would spend a lot of time networking, organizing their art supplies, and doing everything but actual artwork. They don’t trust that the foundation of their dream, their actual artwork, is what’s most important.
Yes, the little things are important, but they must be your secondary priority. There’s a famous term in productivity culture called “deep work.” The basic idea is that you spend two to four hours on your most creative or foundation work a day. And it should be when you’re most productive. This is usually in the mornings or evenings.
Set aside sacred time for the task that most defines your dream, whatever it is, and then pursue it with gusto. Trust that the universe will provide you opportunities outside that time for everything else.
Your Dream Is Unique
Your final card is more about an obstacle you’re experiencing. This is the Eight of Wands, Reversed card. You’re losing hold of what inspires you. No doubt because you’re focusing on the small things that don’t matter as much to your dream.
The concept behind the Law of Attraction would help here. The idea is that you choose to believe that you’ll attract what you desire and write an affirmative statement or visualize the goal. The psychological positivity is important, but there’s an element of trust that’s even more key.
You can’t always plan the method that the universe will use to bring your dreams about. Imagine the artist from before: they want to be a painter. They think the only way it can be achieved is if they display high art in museums. Only how do they do that as a no-name artist?
The reality is that your personality and individual circumstances will inform how the method is achieved. It’s different for every person. That artist, for example, may find success by selling art to government offices on commission. And because of that, their name becomes more recognized over time.
Trust that the universe will give your opportunities. Don’t turn down the method your given just because it’s not how you assumed it must be achieved.
You might also really like the novel way the universe chooses to attract your dream to you. The method is designed for you after all. Why would your dream look like anybody else’s? So the method to achieve it won’t be identical either.
