October 2025 — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! I have a psychic tarot reading today on October 2025. This is spooky Halloween season, so expect some spiritual effects.
To receive your message from the universe, pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve used the Seasons of the Witch: Samhain Oracle and the Santa Muerte Tarot decks. These are affiliate links, and it helps support me if you love the decks and want to buy them for yourself too.
Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s see what’s coming your way in October 2025.
Pile 1: Mushrooms

Decluttering as a Spiritual Gateway
Wow, so you have a fascinating spread this month. It is very clear, very objective, and very project-oriented. Everything relates back to the same main theme: you need to declutter your space.
The first oracle card, Owl, has the wisdom message: “Behold sight, oh ancient ones, for there is magic in the darkest of places if one dares to open their eyes.” You need to look at your physical space, your home, your car, maybe even your digital devices, with a new perspective. To do that, you need to clean if you haven’t cleaned recently, declutter if you’re already a very clean place, or maybe reorganize or redecorate.
Essentially, you need to change your physical or digital space in order for something important to happen in your life.
The second oracle card, Black Cat, has the wisdom message: “There’s a curious journey into the depths of the unknown, hidden so deep that only the brave will gracefully return with light in their eyes and shadow leading home.” This is a sign that cleaning your space is going to be very therapeutic for you.
Perhaps this isn’t your normal experience, but October is a magical time. Spirits are more active, and people have noticed that if you clean, renovate, or redecorate, this can activate spiritual energies in that area.
As you clean, you may commune with spiritual presences you haven’t met before. Every space is believed to have a spirit, sometimes a house spirit, sometimes ancestors or guides. By cleaning, you’re more directly connecting with them.
The third oracle card, Broom, has the wisdom message: “What dreams may come from what you seek; make room, make way! A clearing need be.” Something wants to come into your life, but it can’t until you clean your space.
Physically or digitally altering your surroundings makes room for new energies that couldn’t exist before. Sometimes the energy of what you own keeps you locked in a spiritual profile, and cleaning shakes that up.
This month, whether it’s a small project or a weeks-long renovation, make a plan, stick to it, and you’ll be rewarded by Halloween.
Topsy-Turvy Spiritual Energy
The first tarot card, Temperance, Reversed, suggests some topsy-turvy energy in your spiritual life. This is partly due to the season. The veil is thin, energies are flowing in and out, and you can make use of that. If you explore anything spiritual this month, it will be more profound, especially as Halloween approaches.
Whatever your faith tradition, this is a good time to engage with spirituality or honor the dead. For example, Catholics often visit family graves around this time. The message is universal: this is a season to connect with spirit.
Gifts of Abundance
The next card, the King of Pentacles, represents someone coming into your life. Likely a coworker, boss, spouse, or partner. They carry a gift, symbolized by the treasure chest the King holds. This gift could be tangible or could come in the form of opportunity.
Often, when people know you’re decluttering, they want to give you things. Clearing your space opens the door to receiving abundance, whether material or situational. Expect that energy this month.
Career Shifts
In career and money matters, you have the Hierophant, Reversed, showing something is disorganized or not aligned. By decluttering and reorganizing your surroundings, you’ll help turn this energy right-side up.
This could manifest as a new financial opportunity, increased productivity, or even literal profit if you sell items you no longer need. Many people also find that by decluttering, they free up time and mental energy to pursue hobbies or work, which in turn increases abundance.
This isn’t just a short-term fix. The energy shift from this month’s project will have lasting effects on your prosperity and stability.
Breaking Through Blocked Wishes
The last card, the Nine of Cups, Reversed, reveals that a wish isn’t being fulfilled. There’s something you deeply want but haven’t been able to access, and clutter, physical or digital, is part of what’s holding you back. It weighs you down psychologically, leading to discouragement and stagnation.
By tackling your decluttering project, you’ll break free from that weight. After Halloween, you’ll feel more motivated and able to pursue what you’ve always wanted. You may not even know what that is yet, but once the clutter is gone, the path will be clear.
This isn’t just about a clean space. It’s about unlocking the energy to pursue and achieve your true desires.

Pile 2: Compass

The Call of Shadow Work
This is a really good month for shadow work according to your spread, and you’re going to be attracted to doing that. However, not every one of you who chose this pile is ready to confront your shadow self, and you need to understand that appropriately.
This reading isn’t about you encountering inevitable bad luck, but making sure you avoid it so you can enjoy the other blessings coming your way.
The first oracle card, Greet the Darkness, has the wisdom message: “Here where the spine bends and the mouth quivers, breathes the hidden, the pieces that make you whole but cut deep with all their sharp edges.”
Your dark side, your shadow side, is you. It is part of you, and it is essential to who you are. Someone who suffers from rage, for example, can translate that rage into righteous fury. But while you could meet that darker side of yourself this month and come to understand it, you may not yet be ready to translate it into something useful. That first encounter can be a very dark realization.
The second oracle card, Graveyard, carries the message: “There is a song that bellows in the peace of knowing no end, in acknowledging the crossroads eternity.”
You have a higher self that exists across all time, but in this life, you are most concerned with your ego self. Both your light and shadow are part of that identity. There is a part of you not yet ready to accept that your shadow is permanent. You can change your behavior and channel that energy productively, but the darkest parts of yourself will always exist.
Light femininity, for example, is mothering, soft, and nurturing. Dark femininity is deadly, destructive, and consuming. It is the earth at death. The cycle of life. Accepting that this darkness is a necessary piece of your identity is difficult. It means recognizing that this shadow will exist across lifetimes and remain in eternity.
The third oracle card, Potions and Spells, warns: “A pinch of this, a dash of that; be sure you’re sure before you call.”
The universe is cautioning you: do not dive too deeply into shadow work until you are ready. Light exploration is fine, but if you open a door you’re not prepared for, it can overwhelm you. October, with its heightened spiritual energy, makes it easy to see your essence clearly, but it also amplifies unease if you aren’t ready to face what you find.
Spiritual Caution
The first tarot card, Seven of Wands, Reversed, shows that spiritually, you are uneasy and unbalanced. This may be due to struggles in your personal life, negative spirits nearby, or even the challenges of people around you affecting your energy.
This is not the best month for major spiritual manifestations. Instead, test small practices, explore gently, and stay curious. But avoid dangerous spiritual activities such as Ouija boards, ghost hunting, curses, or hexes. The cost would be too great.
October can be a powerful spiritual month for some, but for you this year, it’s more of a warning sign: proceed with care.
Finding Joy in the World
When it comes to relationships, there is good news. You received The World, which signifies fulfillment in real-world connections.
This month is ideal for nurturing relationships with family, friends, coworkers, pets, and even the natural world. Focus on tangible, living connections rather than spiritual beings. By grounding yourself in these bonds, you’ll enjoy positive experiences and events. The message is simple: enjoy the world of the living, and you will flourish.
Career Reflections
For career and money, you have the Six of Cups, Reversed, which points to negative nostalgia or emotional debt. This is especially likely if you dive too deeply into shadow work. You may begin to harshly critique yourself, blaming personality traits for your lack of success.
Because you’re not yet ready to integrate your shadow self fully, focusing inward this way could lead to rumination which are repetitive negative thoughts that erode your confidence. To avoid this, redirect your attention outward. Build relationships and stay present in your external life rather than overanalyzing your inner darkness.
Acceptance and Light
Your final card, the Five of Cups, Reversed, speaks of acceptance. This month, you are learning to acknowledge something you’ve always carried but resisted recognizing.
Even if you avoid shadow work intentionally, you may still encounter your shadow self by month’s end, but in a gentler, more constructive way. It might come through a loved one pointing out a habit or trait with tact and care. These real-world reflections will help you accept yourself more easily than any forced spiritual confrontation.
While this spread may sound cautionary, it actually offers reassurance. The universe is saying: you’ll have a wonderful month if you avoid spiritually dangerous practices and focus instead on your relationships and living well. Enjoy the present, stay grounded, and blessings will follow.

Pile 3: Heart

A Spiritually Powerful October
You have a spiritually powerful month ahead. That’s not a surprise: October and Halloween bring a lifted veil between worlds, opening a portal for spiritual activity. But while there’s plenty of good news, there’s also a warning.
The first oracle card, Bat, carries the wisdom message: “Invoke thy power and fear not the hidden. What lurks is coming with undenying change.” Something spiritual is coming your way, whether you like it or not. You may choose not to perceive it, but it will still be active in your life.
The second oracle card, Apples, has the message: “To taste, one must swallow it whole, and beneath the satin flame hides drowning waters.” This experience will be overwhelming, especially if you choose to perceive it. Your powers of perception are strong, and if you exercise them, you’ll see these spirits at work in your life, in the lives of others, and in the world.
The final oracle card, Voices, speaks of: “With a tug at the gut, feel them romance your very breath. Listen to the gentle flickering within your eyes, for this is where the guide.” This time of year is alive with spiritual presence. Some spirits are benevolent, some not, but good spirits, your guides and perhaps an ancestor or spirit of place, will be especially active and willing to help you.
They will try to communicate with you. If your psychic abilities aren’t refined, you’ll feel their presence unconsciously as sudden “knowings” without explanation. If your intuitive senses (your clairs) are open, you may hear voices, see signs, or experience synchronicities.
Always be discerning: follow only positive, uplifting guidance. Not all spirits mean well, and even ancestors may give outdated or unhelpful advice. Overall, though, this month will be spiritually profound for you whether or not you consciously engage with it.
Spiritual Power and Safety
Your first tarot card is The High Priestess which represents your spirituality this month, and it’s powerful. Your intuition is activated, making this an ideal time to commune with the spiritual realm. Because the card is upright, you’re in a position of power and can likely close any negative doors.
If you want to experiment spiritually, you’re likely to do so without harmful effects, provided you take the proper precautions. For example, even using a Ouija board could be safe for you this month if you follow all traditional steps for protection and cleansing.
Beyond exploration, this is a wonderful time for positive spiritual practices like manifestation. You’re poised to receive spiritual and material rewards from your efforts.
Relationships Need Attention
Your second tarot card, Six of Wands, Reversed, warns that while you’re strong spiritually, your relationships may take a backseat. Loved ones may notice your distraction and wonder why you’re distant.
The antidote is involvement. Make time for your family and friends, or invite them to share in your spiritual activities. Americans for example, have seasonal spiritual traditions like pumpkin patches, carving jack-o’-lanterns, and visiting a corn maze. Your culture may have their own that’s worth checking out.
If you’re in a romantic relationship or hoping to start one, avoid secrecy. Your heightened spiritual practices could seem “spooky” or alarming to others if unexplained. Be mindful, too, that spiritual work can shift energies onto those around you. Protect and respect the boundaries of others while exploring your path.
Rapid Career and Financial Shifts
In career and money matters, the Eight of Wands signals swift movement. Opportunities will arise quickly, and spiritual beings may be help to clear the path for abundance. This is an excellent time to work with manifestation and the Law of Attraction.
Expect support from surprising places. People connected to your career or finances, bosses, coworkers, or significant other, may suddenly become more receptive to your goals. It may feel as though someone whispered in their ear, nudging them to back your plans. That’s the spiritual beings at work on your behalf.
Liberation and Empowerment
Eight of Swords, Reversed, shows liberation. You’re feeling strong, open, and willing to express yourself in ways you haven’t before. This new freedom stems from your comfort with your spirituality.
As you share your opinions and beliefs, some people will admire your passion, while others may find it unsettling. October heightens spiritual sensitivity, so be mindful not to overwhelm or frighten others with your spiritual revelations.
Nevertheless, this is a lasting, empowering energy. Positive spiritual beings are likely to remain with you beyond October, continuing to bless and support you through the rest of the year. Embrace this empowerment and the opportunities it brings, but do so with compassion and discernment for those around you.
