Improve Your Relationships — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic tarot reading on how you can improve your relationships, romantic or platonic. This can help you from a dark place or boost relationships that are already doing well even more.
All you have to do to receive this message is pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Mystical Manga Tarot deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to see what you can do to make your relationships bloom.
Pile 1: Mushrooms
Spend the Right Amount of Time
I get the sense not all of your relationships are beneficial to you. For some in this pile, that could be due to you being around terrible people. However, the first card in your spread, Seven of Coins, Reversed, could be a sign that some of your relationships aren’t currently productive.
There may be nothing wrong with these people in your life, but they’re presence is draining you. Think about a friend from childhood who you hang out with frequently, but you no longer have common interests with.
There comes a point in some relationships where you can’t invest more time and effort into them. They won’t grow into what you wish for them to be. So that means either letting them go, or if this person is still otherwise deserving, not spending quite as much time with them as you did before.
Invest in the relationships that matter to you now, not the ones that did years ago.
A Time of Transition
Traditionally, The High Priestess is about inner knowing and balance. I think you’re either in a liminal space right now or you’re stuck between two decisions.
This isn’t a bad thing, but when you ignore your intuition in your relationships, you’ll find yourself frustrated.
It’s true that our intuition can be wrong, but true intuition is based on some kind of evidence, not blind guessing. In this case, the evidence is likely matters of the heart of a mystical knowing.
You interact with people on the physical plane and on the spiritual one. The more awakened you are, the more aware you are of this connection.
Take a good look at your current relationships. Perhaps the people you need to let go you’ve already had your karmic story with.
But there is someone out there you need to have more karmic events unfold with. This could be a platonic or romantic soulmate, but you’ll know when you’ve met them or when this part of your karmic story is activated. You’ll feel it deep inside your soul and you’ll want to spend more time with them.
Trust this pull. Something important is about to happen with spiritual consequences.
Let Them Be There For You in Tough Times
The final card in your spread, The Sun, Reversed, usually refers to a temporary down period in your life. It’s not an especially negative card for a reversal and I see it in your spread as a sign you’ll best improve your relationships when you see the value of those relationships in your life story.
You’re either going through something stressful or you know you will soon. It could be something dramatic, but it could also be something mundane like taking an important test.
The point being, you’ll improve your relationships when you invite the people into your life to be there for those events. Be honest about your feelings and troubles. Know that some of your relationships are fixers and others are listeners, but both can be valuable if you take their approach with compassion. You should give back the same.
Connection is about sharing and it’s time you put that investment in.

Pile 2: Bird
Trust the Future, Don’t Fear From the Past
The landscape of your relationships is better than you think. That doesn’t mean there aren’t real conflicts or pain, but that you can resolve those issues or be at peace more easily than you currently believe.
The Nine of Swords is a card of anxiety and rumination. These thoughts may have an origin in very valid beliefs, but you’ve outgrown the usefulness of these beliefs – or the people in your life have grown.
I want you to think less and act more, but you need to ask yourself whether or not you want to reconcile a relationship to be better or if you simply want to move on. Once you know that, I want you to act.
Let’s use two examples: a shy person believes they’ll never be able to make friends. But if this shy person went to places where people of their interest met, they would eventually form a connection. They’re moving on from that identity of loneliness.
Similarly, someone whose partner has a short fuse (but is otherwise not abusive) might be at a point where they can work with you or a therapist to act better than you currently believe is possible.
Have faith that things are better or will be better than you think once you act.
A Better Social Paradigm
With the second card, Four of Wands, I see a lot of happiness and positivity on the horizon for you. This is a very positive sign that the effort you put in to reconcile your relationships or move on will be met with the good that you wish.
But it’s not just a manifestation of happy things, but happy people whose passions are aligned.
I think this spread is a very positive sign for those currently in a romantic relationship on the rocks or who are involuntarily single that things will improve romantically. You’ll move to the next logical stage in a relationship or renew your current stage to be more romantically productive.
This is also a card of a good and supportive social environment. I believe that your new lease on relationships will slowly improve the secondary and tertiary relationships you’re involved in, meaning co-workers, people in the community, and acquaintances.
A good example for this would be someone who feels alone building a social network they could invite to their wedding one day. Your world is expanding in a positive sense.
Perfect Balancing Act
I see that you have the Queen of Coins as your final card. This is about balancing your domestic and career concerns. In your spread, I see this as balancing needs of the heart with personal goals.
I’ve seen a lot of people lose themselves in their relationships. Most often they lose themselves to a romantic partner, but it can happen with friends too. They lose interest in their real hobbies and their progress in their careers or life goals stall.
That’s not you though. You’re going to find a happy balance of independence and connection to the people you care about. This will be a more lasting approach to life and you should feel more at ease when it comes to where and with whom you spend your time.

Pile 3: Luggage
Rationally Approach Your Mind
You’re being a bit too emotional and it’s causing you problems. The Queen of Swords, Reversed is someone who thinks they’re logical, but is acting from a place of emotion.
It’s not bad to be emotional, but I think there are people or situations in your life that require a more objective perspective right now.
You may find it helpful to talk with a therapist if you’re struggling mentally or you could do some personal reflection. You can talk with someone close to you, but only if you’re certain they’re someone you can objectively trust.
If you were looking at your life objectively, how do your relationships function? Is there someone in your life who is truly bad or are you truly bad for someone else?
Your heart connection, while not in a good place right now, comes from good intentions. But good intentions alone don’t build and maintain healthy relationships. Your emotions are coming from an ideal place instead of a real one.
Why You’re Hurting Yourself
With the Page of Swords card in your spread, I think it’s time to act with a bit of brass. You need to be the warrior you know yourself to be and advocate for yourself – even if you’re not 100% ready or confident to do so.
Communication is key here, though you won’t do it perfectly. Instead, what I want you to do is look at yourself as if you’re a person you love – what parts of your life do you want to correct? Where do you lack love or lack giving love?
It might be something as simple as you have a co-worker who says mean things to you so you ask to move to a different part of the office. Or it could be more serious like you have an abusive partner so you need to strike out on your own and build your life away from them.
Think objectively, not solely with your heart. You’re far too compassionate right now to separate the martyr from the warrior.
Reintegrate the Heart and Mind
I believe the heart of all your social problems right now is seen in the Nine of Cups, Reversed card. You’ve settled, and you didn’t settle for a situation or person that deserves you.
It’s true that people sometimes ask for too much, but in your case, you gave up.
I want you to spend some time after this reading journaling on what you deserve in your relationships. Then ask yourself how you’re compromising too much just to feel connected to someone who isn’t in your best interest right now. You need to receive just as much as you give.
Once you have this in mind, you’ll be able to create an objective path forward to fight for the life and relationships you deserve.
Think in values, not merely in bonds, and then consider how a person should feel. The reason you’re emotions are so volatile right now is that what you should be feeling can’t exist because your relationships and life aren’t in order.
What do you want to feel every day? That’s your goal and what you should build around.
