Let’s find out how you can stay grounded.
Pile 1: White Flower
You’re Responsible and Loved for It
With your first card being the King of Cups, mastering your emotions is very possible for you shortly. This requires taking an active role in your relationships and asserting your control through compassion. While a difficult balance, it is one you can achieve.
Take note of any male role models in your life. These would be individuals who show true love and kindness with a quiet power of words or action. In some countries, Father’s Day is coming up and you may find it rewarding to acknowledge a father figure in your life or the lives of your children (if you have them).
But the mastery of emotions may be you, in this instance, so stepping into your role as a strong, loving energy no matter your gender may clue you in to important responsibilities. Sometimes, staying grounded is about recognizing what ties you to this world.
You See All
The next card in your spread, Eagle, has the wisdom message of “See from a Higher Perspective.” This is a reminder to use your position of power with true care. How can you care for the people in your life? What do they not see which you do?
This perspective may sound odd when it comes to being grounded, but grounding yourself isn’t just the act of sticking your bare feet on soil: it’s creating a connection to the Earth and sometimes the people within it.
You live in a network of relationships, and your keen eye helps you to determine who needs you most. Sometimes, this can be yourself. It’s a stereotype that responsible fathers don’t take enough time for themselves and they can be emotionally stunted. That energy is present in your spread, so you may need to look at your life and the lives of the people you love objectively.
The Reason You Need Grounding
Your last card is Magick Guardian with the wisdom message of “Unlock the Magick Within.” I see this as a passionate, feminine energy unleashed on the world. While your King of Cups energy is more steady and calm, there’s a fiery current within you that wants to be freed.
That’s because you need to get grounded so you can unleash the passions within, whether it’s for the people you love, your life calling, or any hobbies you have.
Consider what you have passion for and whether or not you’re ready to pursue those passions with the vigor it deserves. If not, you need to slow things down and tend to your fire. But if you’re ready, it may be time to unleash your magick into the world – just make sure you don’t burn anyone in the process!

Pile 2: Pink Flower
Getting Away
This is an ironic spread. Your first card, the Queen of Pentacles, Reversed, suggests you need to push away from what is traditionally grounding. That’s because you’re not making the mental or emotional connection for those practices to work.
It can also indicate that a female figure in your life who is supposed to be nurturing is in fact a negative influence. This may be of a severe sort, like an abusive family member, or more limited, such as a temporary argument with a person you love.
Because of this internal or external conflict, you’re feeling ungrounded and as if you need to get away. This is the correct intuitive leap: you can’t ground yourself until you find a safe place to land.
Recognize Things Can’t Stay the Same
Your second card, Air Guardian, has the wisdom message of “Shift Your Perception.” The reason why you’re in your current predicament is that you don’t have a healthy perception of your life. Somehow, it’s become corrupted and turbulent.
See how the woman on this card appears all-seeing? Her eyes pierce into your soul. She dares the person looking at her to do something against her because they’ll soon find they have no power over her. She can simply fly away.
This is a lesson you need to learn yourself. Part of being grounded is learning how to not attach yourself to things unnecessarily. If you latch on to something too hard, you’ll hang close in a death grip. You won’t see anything but what’s right in front of you, and that can cause you to miss a lot of important clues for how to fix yourself. Or make future attachments to other things or people who would also matter.
Step back from your current situation and do some meditative work. This will help you detach from your current reality and see what you need to change. Some of you may find journaling will help. Try this prompt: “The parts of my life that need to change are…”
Permission to Love
The third card in your spread is Heart Guardian with the wisdom message of “Love and Let Yourself Be Loved.” This card has a lot of fiery imagery, but also romantic ones. Aside from the heart, do you see how her shoulder is in the shape of a rose? She’s the very picture of love.
The final step to getting grounded for you is finding and participating in healthy, loving relationships. This will healthily ground you and bond you to replace what had been corrupted. Believe that you can love someone sincerely and those feelings can be returned.
This may be repairing current relationships or finding new ones. Only you’ll know what is most appropriate, and for those with multiple relationships that went wrong, the decision may differ for each person you know.
If this corruption is within you, it’s time to figure out where you can pour your heart and soul into. Trying a new hobby or revisiting an old one is a good start. You’ll know you’ve succeeded when your heart no longer feels as heavy. Let yourself have fun here.

Pile 3: Yellow Flower
You Need the World
Your first card is the Page of Wands, Reversed. Although this card could reference a person, there’s a strong indication in your spread that this refers to some sort of creative, spiritual, or romantic block.
The world is closing in on you, so it’s not a surprise you may be having trouble staying grounded right now. I think there’s a part of you who does want to get grounded, but you aren’t sure it’s even possible. Right now you know that you need light and energy. Calming your spirit and focusing on bringing balance seems to be the wrong answer, right?
But that’s not the case. See how in this card the girl is on an adventure around the world? For you, getting grounded is the practical act of uniting with the universe. Simple meditative practices commonly associated with grounding are exactly what you need to rekindle that connection.
Creating a Habit
The next card is Mountains with the wisdom message of “Stand Your Ground.” I sense that you need some sort of spiritual foundation. This can be complex, such as an intricate ritual practice, traditional religion or new age, but it can also be something simple. Five minutes of meditating a day is really all you need.
But you must protect it at all costs. That’s why you need to make sure whatever practice you choose, it becomes a habit.
In particular, I get a strong sense that walking outside and placing your bare feet on the ground (if it’s good weather) will help you make this connection. An alternative is to do this in the shower, sitting in front of the fireplace, or enjoying the breeze in front of a window.
I really do believe that experiencing one of the four elements will ground you and it’s a very simple act that you can do every day. That makes it a prime opportunity to create a lasting habit.
Passionate Tornado
A little bit of chaos is good. But you want to be on the edge of order and chaos. It’s there that you’ll be able to create something new which can still be recognized by the world. Your last card, Fire Guardian, has the wisdom message of “Ignite Your Passions” and I think the verb there, ignite, is important.
This seems to suggest that your passion is something you have control over. Having some element of consistency in your daily life, without controlling every aspect of your day, allows your mind to rest. It’s here your brain will have permission to wander and process your thoughts.
Whether it’s creative work, spending time with your loved ones, or pursuing something you’re interested in, developing a spiritual habit will give your soul permission to plan. And once you have settled and ground yourself, you’ll realize you have the fuel to unleash your passion into the world itself. It may also lead to a deeper spiritual awakening.
You’re a conduit for order and chaos. You just need the order side to channel it effectively.
