How to Raise Your Vibration: Tarot Pick a Card
Everything in the universe is made of energy – including you! Energy vibrates, and a higher vibration is associated with positive feelings and outcomes while a lower vibration is the opposite. Increasing your vibration will help you manifest a better life.
But how is it done? This tarot pick a card will help you diagnose and treat whatever low vibrations are in your life. All you need to do is select one of the piles above that you’re drawn to most.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Golden Art Nouveau Tarot and the Work Your Light oracle decks. Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to raise your vibration!
Pile 1: Pink Energy
Stay Close to Home
Your spread is an interesting one and it reminds me of the saying “home is where the heart is.” The first card is Mintakan with the wisdom message of “Longing for home. Belonging. The original lightworkers.”
I had a strong sense when I pulled this card that you can raise your vibration by sticking close to home. Notice I said home, not house or apartment, so understand that this isn’t a particular place so much as a feeling.
You need to be in an environment where you’re comfortable and feel like you belong. This may be the place you live, but it could also be a place you visit or a person you like to be around.
Right now, your energy reserves are lower than it could be. Many lightworkers and those who give some of themselves to others need a way to recharge. Home then serves as a place where nothing is expected of you and you can relax. You need to be able to let go and relax right now.
Your Mind Is Elsewhere
The next two cards in your spread create an interesting depth to your reading. I read the Knight of Cups, Reversed here as your imagination running wild – and not in a good way. While it’s wonderful to daydream, we sometimes use daydreaming as a means to escape.
You’re currently escaping some aspect of your life because you want it to change but feel powerless to do so. This is creating a negative feedback loop in your mind, learned helplessness, which is lowering your vibration and causing your ability to manifest be anemic.
Grounding is necessary. You can take the more spiritual action of going outside and placing your bare feet on the ground, but the more “grounded” meaning also applies. Get back to basics and find something practical in life that needs your attention.
Because of the “home” aspect of your spread, consider cleaning or repairing some aspect of the environment you consider home. This will help you feel more connected to it and allow you to be more mindful of “home” itself.
Write Your Manifestations
With the last card in your spread being the Knight of Wands, Reversed, I sense that your passion isn’t what it could be. You’re not able to latch onto the ideas and aspirations you have for your life that you would want.
Perhaps you’re depressed, but it could also be the lack of grounding that I previously mentioned. Either way, I feel as if what you want to manifest isn’t concrete.
Being specific can go a long way to raising your vibration and attracting what you want most to you. In this case, I strongly recommend scripting. Writing helps a person organize their thoughts, and scripting, where you write in the present tense what you want to manifest, is the perfect spiritual exercise.

Pile 2: Blue Energy
Letting Go
One of the main reasons someone would have a low vibration is that they’re dwelling on negative thoughts. This appears to be true for you with The Crumbling card and its wisdom message of “What are you clinging to?”
What’s interesting about the rest of your spread, however, is that your next two cards are positive. So what’s wrong?
I believe that you’re holding so tightly onto something that it’s starting to have the opposite effect. This brings to mind the saying “too much of a good thing.” I sense that you want something so desperately that any delay or obstacle can make you frantic and anxious.
Understand that it’s okay to want something. Really. But part of manifesting is trusting the universe. So let’s explore how to let go, at least a little, to free yourself from obsession.
You’re Doing Too Much
The second card in your spread is The Empress. This card represents fertility and is commonly associated with creativity. For some of you, you’re focusing too much on your family to the detriment of your own health. Think of the parent whose entire life is their child or the animal fanatic who must rescue every animal they see.
What you’re doing is good, but step back and ask yourself if you might be helicoptering over your family and causing them to be co-dependent towards you. Setting aside time for yourself helps you just as much as it helps them.
However, the rest of you may have problems with your creativity instead. You’re trying so hard to force an idea or creative activity that you’re starting to feel burned out! Unfortunately, this can lead to the death of your inspiration. The longer you let this continue, the less happy you’ll be with your creations.
Give yourself a break, either by pursuing unrelated leisure or trying something different. But whatever you do, give yourself the permission not to be “creative” and just enjoy the process.
Now’s Not the Time to Be Alone
Your last card is The Hermit. I sense that you’re either isolating yourself from others to get what you need to get done or you’re forging bravely ahead, leaving everyone behind. The result is the same: you have no one to emotionally connect with.
Look back and rejoin your family and friends. If it’s your creativity, spend some time with your peers or join an online community. Yes, it may not be as productive and some of you may be emotionally rusty, but this connection will uplift your spirit and raise your vibration.
For those where family is taking too much of your time, try meeting a friend to watch a movie or just hang out. As for you creatives, being around other people and talking about your shared craft will remind you of the awe that your field inspires.

Pile 3: Purple Energy
You Need to Put Up Walls
Sometimes it’s not you, but other people that are causing your lower vibrations. Your first card is Boundaries with the wisdom message of “Where do you need to establish better boundaries?” See how the hands on the card are reaching for the woman greedily? There are even waves of energy surrounding her.
I sense you may be the victim of energy vampires. For some of you, this is accidental: even our loved ones may be a bit negative sometimes. However, don’t be surprised if it turns out there is someone truly toxic and out to harm you.
This can be in the form of a petty coworker or someone who uses magick as a weapon. You may not even be aware of their negative thoughts towards you – but the universe is and that creates an effect on your own vibration.
Always remember that you can’t control your environment 100% of the time. This can be frustrating, but also liberating as what you can control is how you act and react to situations. It’s way easier to have expectations of yourself than other people.
And what you’re being called to do right now is to put up physical and spiritual obstacles so you can be left alone.
Pull Back Emotionally
I don’t think you should go live in the woods until you feel your vibration raise (though by all means, do as you please), but I do think you should pull back what you give to other people. When someone tries to get a rise out of you, refuse to cooperate.
A good example of this is politics: too often, people try to make others feel angry because of what’s going on in the news. Don’t rise to the bait. They’re trying to feed off your negativity.
This is harder than you may think, so really consider the areas where you feel the most negative effect right now and think about how long you need to emotionally pull back. This may only be a few days or it could be longer.
The physical manifestation of this would be quitting social media, avoiding someone at work, or carving time and space for only yourself in your home. The spiritual manifestation of this would be guided meditations for healing or learning how to raise spiritual barriers around you.
Bring Your Energy In
The last card in your spread is the Three of Wands, Reversed. This card features a man looking out at the water and ships. He appears to be ready to depart. I read this card in your spread as letting your energy escape into the world without recharging.
Part of building boundaries is staying in one place and protecting yourself. That means not going on an adventure and leaving yourself vulnerable.
Try not to concern yourself with things that aren’t immediately important to you. Don’t volunteer yourself for a project to make someone else’s life easier until you feel your vibrations are high enough that you’re in a good place again.
Bring your energy in and let it concentrate into a powerful light. Then you can shine in the world more brilliantly than before.
