How to Find Love: Tarot Pick a Card
If you’re single and looking to fall in love, this tarot pick a card will help you do it. All you need to do is select one of the piles above that sticks out to you the most.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Golden Art Nouveau Tarot and the Work Your Light oracle decks (these are affiliate links that support me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s find out how you can find love.
Pile 1: Red Aventurine
Figure Out What You Need
You’re spread is actually kind of wild and I struggled to make sense of it for a few minutes. But to begin, your first card is Get Grounded with the wisdom message of “Empaths. Highly sensitives. Connect with Nature.”
How I interpreted this card was that you needed to get in touch with your practical needs in a relationship. What do you need to be happy? It’s okay if this sounds a little selfish. For example, an artist may want to be in a relationship with someone who has a more stable job.
Everyone has needs. Understanding what your needs are is key to determining what you should look for in a partner beyond attraction.
You want to make sure that you’ll be able to invest yourself emotionally with someone without fear that you’re making a mistake.
Date Like It’s a Job
Your next card, the Knight of Swords, tells me you should be throwing yourself into the hunt right now. You may even consider speed dating or going on a lot of first dates.
This pace may seem exhausting, but it won’t be a lifelong pursuit. Instead, it will help you scope the field and see who’s available that fits your criteria. It’ll also help you to discover traits and other conditions you need to consider to pursue any relationship further.
You need to be a bit ruthless here. Try not to commit yourself emotionally right away to any one person. I think you’re the type of person who may get carried away by the initial attraction and overlook serious incompatibilities that could ruin a relationship later on.
Get to Know Them
The last card in your spread is the Seven of Cups. Look at the figures present in each cup. Not all of them are good, right? But some are. However, these options are all clouded and there’s the potential that the man on the card may choose incorrectly.
I sense the same problem inherent in you finding love. From your spread, I don’t get the sense that falling in love is the problem – it’s falling in love with the right person.
Although you may put a lot of sincere effort to avoid any issues, there’s the very real possibility that you may choose the wrong person in love. For that reason, I think you need to hold back before you move to the next level in any future relationship you have.
Explore things together with your partner before moving to that next level. Instead of moving in together right away, try living with your partner for the weekends and then switch residences every few weeks so you both have an idea who the other person is at home.
Reflect often. If something seems off, consider if the relationship is on solid ground. If not, try to fix it, but if it can’t be salvaged, you should break things off and try again with someone else.

Pile 2: Rose Quartz
Allow Yourself to Be Powerful
The first card in your spread is Transformation with the wisdom message of “Things are changing at a cellular level. Deep healing.”
I got the sense from your overall spread that there’s something traditionally romantic about your approach to love. However, you first need to heal your past pains or expectations when it comes to relationships. I believe this is because you have had either trauma or bad habits which have harmed your attempts at romance.
Like the woman in this card, you need to take ownership and control of your life. This is especially true when it comes to dating. Even if you’re the type of person who prefers that the other person leads, you can’t surrender your will. This could mean making your intentions very clear or making sure you’re available.
Need to meet someone first? Create an online dating profile or go to a place where singles tend to meet, like a bar. Understand you don’t have to commit to anyone you see and you can screen potential dates as you talk with them. Don’t be afraid to say no and just walk away. There’s someone out there who’s perfect for you and they’re good enough to wait for.
Just make sure you’re looking for them!
Seek a Partner
Your second card is the Ten of Pentacles. In this card, we see a happy, domestic scene of an extended family. There’s a lot of abundance and the promise of a legacy.
You need to approach relationships with a long-term plan in mind. Do you want to be a serial dater? Great! Make it obvious and have a philosophy for how you’ll pursue relationships. That’s your legacy. But if you want something that lasts, and I sense many who choose this pile feels that way, then you need to determine what vision you have for your life.
Your romantic partner needs to share that vision too. So consider how you want to live and make sure that these ideals are shared by that person before you commit. And they should be enthusiastic about these ideals too!
I sense you’re going to want to fall in love with someone who wants to share a life with you. It’s not enough that you have sexual chemistry, you want emotional and lifestyle chemistry too.
You Need Kindness
Your last card is The Devil, Reversed. This is a card about overcoming self-sabotage and temptation. But there’s a romantic element here too: the two people on the card are an allusion to the couple in The Lovers tarot card.
I think that you need to be with someone who truly understands your struggles. Perhaps they have even shared these struggles at one time as well. You won’t be happy if your partner dismisses your concerns.
It may benefit you to not hide these struggles early in your relationship. Be your whole self. Not a wreck of course, but honest and open about who you are. This will help you find the person who accepts you even on a bad day with love and kindness.

Pile 3: Red Jasper
Where Your Troubles Began
I sense that the way you’ve been approaching love is modeled on a bad example from your past. Perhaps it’s someone in your family or even from culture itself. Your first card, Break the Chain, has the wisdom message of “Ancestral patterns. Healing. Rewriting the future.”
That means you need to change this approach to be something new to you. That will help you break a pattern you’ve created.
But it won’t be easy. Chances are, this example is so strong and so present in your life that it’s difficult to break out of it. It serves as your best guideline, but that guideline is insufficient for your romantic happiness.
I think you’re haunted by this pattern and you feel obligated to repeat it in some way. This desire has become so entrenched in your mind and heart that you don’t even let yourself be attracted to someone who would actually be good for you.
Embrace the Truth
Of all the piles today, yours is the most intense. Your second card, The Tower, promises a huge change. While this card can be negative, it can also serve as a personal awakening. The foundations that your approach to romance has been built on must be broken down.
In that sense, you may want to stop dating or even flirting for a while (perhaps a few weeks to a few months) just so you can deprogram yourself from this harmful pattern. Allow yourself to be sidetracked by other things. Don’t consume romantic media like books or music either.
Your goal is to distance yourself from as many influences of romance as you can. When you feel that you’ve been sufficiently decoupled from that influence, it’s time to meditate and journal about your experiences.
What was positive? What was negative? Then, out loud, have a frank conversation with yourself and perhaps your spirit guides (if you’re comfortable with that) about what you should do instead. There’s power in your voice – don’t even whisper it! Say it out loud and you’ll be surprised by the words that come out of your mouth.
Your Adventure Begins
The next card is the fun part! Here we have the Page of Wands. Do you see how the adventurer is out in the sands of Egypt? Now is the time for you to explore with fresh eyes. Re-introduce romantic media and begin flirting and dating.
You’ll start to find that how you approach to romance is different from this point on. Allow your passions to move you and use your intuition as a spiritual guide and guard against bad decisions.
Don’t be afraid to try new things and meet new people. This is a clean break from your past. For some of you, your perspective is all that needs changing, but for some who choose this pile, you’re going to act differently too.
Enjoy this new romantic adventure. You’re going to meet someone amazing down the road.
