Discover Your True Self — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic tarot reading on your true self. This message from the universe will help you get better in touch with aspects of yourself you may not even realize is true.
All you have to do is follow your intuition and pick the pile that sticks out to you the most.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Spirit Animal Oracle deck (this is an affiliated link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to discover your true self.
Pile 1: Dog
You Expand the Universe
There’s a lot of openness in your spread. To some degree, your fate isn’t as concrete as others, but that’s because the universe has confidence you can write in the details.
This is a lot of responsibility though. Your first card, Starfish Spirit, has the wisdom message of “Open to infinite possibility.” What the universe is asking you to do is be creative with your life.
Yes, you have free will, but there’s also something about you that’s innately original and needs to be expressed. This may be in your life path, interests you have, relationships you forge… the possibilities really are endless.
So allow yourself to be a bit unusual at times. It’s okay to go against the grain and be yourself even when who you are is very different. You’re a visionary for the spiritual realm and it would be truly amazing if you started to live that way.
So Much Is Possible Now
However, your originality is not a passive expression of who you are. The universe also expects you to do something. The next card in your spread, Spider Spirit, has the wisdom message of “Make your dreams real.”
The dreams you have for yourself are only ideas when they’re in your head. They exist, but not in the material world. But in an infinite universe, everything is possible eventually. That means whatever you dream will come true either in this life or the next.
But focus on this life for right now. Consider which dreams you have that are probable (not just possible) and orient yourself in that direction. Someone who loves athletics probably isn’t going to debut as a basketball star at thirty-five, but they can play golf, run, or get involved in the sports business.
There’s some way to make your dreams come true. Believe it.
Not Alone
The universe exists in partition. What that means is that the universe expanded from a singularity into multiple parts. Although the amount of stuff in the universe is the same as the singularity, how it’s organized and individually recognized constantly changes.
Yet you have a spiritual connection to all of it. That’s why your last card, Ant Spirit, is so important with its wisdom message of “Time to collaborate.” You don’t exist in this universe alone.
There are people, creatures, and spirits out there that want to work alongside you and you should reach out to them. A child seeks another child for friendship. A writer’s cat sits in her lap as she writes, and a man may speak to his guardian angels for comfort.
Help is out there in many forms. Seek whatever you can to form a relationship and emotional connection that matters.

Unexpected Excellence
You can take what everyone else forgets and make it useful. The first card in your spread, Flamingo Spirit, has the wisdom message of “Embrace the in-between.”
This means that you’re likely to find unexpected gems in places of transition, in hiding, or what others leave behind. You can prove this to yourself by going to a second-hand store and looking for one thing somebody else decided to abandon that will bring you joy.
Everyone has this talent in some manner, but yours is more powerful than average. Take notice that you can recycle or rescue projects or ideas others have given up on. This usually means you don’t have to start from scratch, and even when you do, you’re using what’s leftover as an inspirational prompt.
I don’t see this as the only wonderful trait you have, but it’s something you should listen to more right now. It can bring a lot of color and joy into your life.
Be Up Front
Don’t think that just because you’re a secondhand hunter that you’re not brilliant. The second card, Peacock Spirit, has the wisdom message of “Let it shine!”
This card indicates that you aren’t just recycling and reusing things for survival or utilitarian purposes. Rather, you’re able to make what was ignored into something beautiful.
That’s because you’re able to see the possibility in the details. This card also indicates a spiritual connection as peacocks can represent rebirth and immortality in some cultures. You give life and make that life beautiful.
You’re probably going to find that, at times, you may be a bit flamboyant. Perhaps people even told you to tone down your brilliance. However, you deserve to shine because your brilliance is partly one of effort and purpose: you’re meant to stand out so you can show the world what’s possible.
You Choose the Narrative
The last card in your spread, Vulture Spirit, has the wisdom message of “Nothing is wasted.” I want you to realize that you can recycle and rescue your past too.
Nothing you experience has to be worthless. Your pain can have meaning in the present that’s productive. Your joy can be carried over and repeated.
Spend some time today meditating or journaling either on lessons from the past or joys from the past you’d like to bring back. Had a terrible romantic experience? Write about it so you can help others avoid the same fate. Perhaps you enjoyed skateboarding as a child – you can do that (or watch professional skateboarders).
Anything that happened or will happen to you can be rebranded into what you want to see it as. You’re the author of your own life, past, present, and future.

Pile 3: Panda
Seek Peace of Mind
There’s a bit of aggression in you. I don’t think this is a bad thing. Aggression helps someone to advocate for themselves or others because it gives them the power and confidence to act.
However, aggression mismanaged can hurt you and others around you. Your first card, Armadillo Spirit, has the wisdom message of “Set healthy boundaries.”
You’re going to be triggered by certain people and situations, and often justly. But even when you’re justified, you may not want to be so triggered that you lose control of your aggression and end up in an argument or committed to a project you don’t want long-term.
Pick some calming music and either meditate or journal about the things that bother you. You must do this exercise while as comfortable as possible – you’ll be annoyed just thinking about the things that bother you!
Once you have this list in mind, pick one and ask yourself if there are ways you can avoid that trigger just a little more than you do now.
Manifesting Energy
You’re a powerful person. What you say can come true. For that reason, your second card, Parrot Spirit, has the wisdom message of “Watch your words.”
Like attracts like, and when you’re in an aggressive state, your energetic signature is out of this world. You can use your aggression for good, so agitating yourself when you need that for something is useful – just be aware that it can cause problems when you don’t want it around.
For example: aggression during a sports match can be very helpful. Aggression when tutoring a small child…? Nope.
If there are some situations you encounter more often than others where you say and do things you regret, practice and have a plan for how you can change that.
The point is: you don’t have to be a motor mouth and regret your words and actions later. Just like you have common triggers, some of your possible responses may be common enough that you can be prepared ahead of time.
Reprogram Yourself
Now that you know you’re so powerful it’s easy to get carried away, let’s get focused on good things. This last card, Pig Spirit, has the wisdom message of “Use your mind wisely.” You may be familiar with the English idiom of when pigs fly meaning the impossible.
Identify one thing in your life that you want to come true that can reasonably come true in the next month. It should be something that requires effort, but is not in itself impossible: like reading ten books.
Accomplish that task. Then identify one more than thing would take longer to accomplish and would be a bit harder. It probably starts to seem increasingly impossible, right? Anything hard does if you aren’t motivated and motivation wanes across time.
But the truth is that you can funnel your aggression into motivation to pursue this seemingly impossible task and any other. A lot of what you see as possible and impossible is your mind’s programming because of the effort involved. Use your aggression to push past that obstacle and manifest what you want: no apologies needed.
