Activate Your Spiritual Awakening: Tarot Pick a Card
I hope that you’re having an amazing spiritual experience. But if you were drawn to this tarot pick a card, then the universe thinks you need a little help activating or amplifying your spiritual awakening.
All you have to do is look at the piles of cards above. Which spirit animal stands out to you the most? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading!
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Mystic Mondays Tarot and the Work Your Light Oracle decks (these are affiliate links that support me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s find out how to activate or amplify your spiritual awakening.
Pile 1: Owl
You Need a Wall
I think that your spread has the easiest solution. This is ironic because the tension in your spiritual life is the most difficult of all the spreads today. Here we have Boundaries as your first card with the wisdom message of “Where do you need to establish better boundaries?”
It seems as if you’re being attacked. This attack seems to be different for everyone who chose this pile. For some of you, it’s the concerns of life, social relationships, or even spiritual entities which are putting up obstacles to your mystical growth.
This can be a frustrating reality because you’re on the defensive. But as soon as you protect yourself from one source, another pops up. It’s not easy to be a spiritual multitasker and you may feel like you’re not making the sort of progress you should be making.
However, you would greatly benefit from putting up spiritual protections around yourself. Let’s find out what those are.
Cleanse Your Space
Your next card, Ten of Cups, Reversed, normally indicates that there is disharmony in your home. While I think for some of you this can signal problems with family or in your community, the primary orientation of this card in your spread is about spiritually protecting your surroundings.
Right now, you can’t keep spiritually multitasking. If you’re trying to meditate, do rituals, and a host of other activities, you’re only going to experience burnout. There’s too much conflict for you to take on as a single person.
Fortunately, you can use your surroundings to your advantage. Research feng shui, put up protective talismans, sage your space, or place sigils around the home.
Your goal should be to create physical, lasting protective energy.
Some of you may also benefit from having another person come into your home and bless the space, whether it is a friend, spiritual leader, or just somebody who carries a lot of positivity.
If you’re considering getting a pet, this would also help protect your space.
Don’t discount negative spiritual tchotchke either. Declutter anything which makes you unhappy or anything that has an aura of evil.
Seeking Empowerment
Right now, you’re in an emotionally sensitive place. This is why your last card is Strength, Reversed. You need to empower yourself to activate or amplify your spiritual awakening.
I don’t sense that there will be a signal moment where your activation hits. Instead, as you modify your home you’ll start to feel better and better. In a way, I think your surroundings have been clouding your spiritual perceptions.
You can’t control everything in your life, but the one thing you can control, your home (or at least your bedroom), can go a long way. Make sure to keep your home in good shape. You’ll find that this spiritual boundary will be the easiest and most powerful one in your mystical toolkit.

Pile 2: Bear
Care for Yourself
Your first card is Transformation with the wisdom message of “Things are changing at a cellular level. Deep healing.” I sense that what you need more than anything else right now are healing activities.
Fortunately, most modern spiritual practices focus on this intensely. Instead of choosing activities specifically to develop spiritual gifts, divination, or communicating with the universe, choose that which will heal you to the core.
There are many options so you can select by preference here. You can choose less woo methods, such as self-care, but meditation, shadow work, and practices such as reiki are also good.
That’s not to say you can’t use things like divination – knowing your astrological chart can help you align your life the way you’d be happiest. However, whatever you choose to do must heal you in some way.
A lot of this healing is spiritual but spirituality isn’t only a gnostic quality. Your body is connected to your heart and soul, so taking care of those elements will also heal you.
Your Body Is a Temple
Your next card is the Three of Pentacles, Reversed. I like to interpret this card as meaning the mind-body-soul connection, and in your spread, the healing is meant to bring about the healing of this connection.
Right now, one or more of these three connections are broken. The healing you do should target that which is weakest, though I think pursuing any of these is appropriate.
That said, I lean slightly more to the body as this is a pentacles card and the “cellular healing” mentioned in the last. Consider your body as the vessel of your tripartite connection in this dimension.
Eating healthy food and exercising are good. So too is getting all your medical checkups. But this is a spiritual reading, which means a spiritual approach is likely your best option. Exercise like yoga or tai chi is about more than just moving your body to burn calories. Ayurveda and other healthy lifestyles with a spiritual element are good too.
But think of folk practices as well. In the West, we often say that if you’re sick, you should eat a bowl of soup. Don’t discount any local traditions, whether from your ancestors or your adoptive community, that may heal your body on a transcendent level.
The Transformation That’s Coming
The final card is the Queen of Cups, Reversed. I sense that your emotional health or awareness will be a great guide as to the progress of your healing. Wherever you feel uneasy there’s a good chance healing must take place.
But once it has been addressed, you’ll feel a wholeness that will help you activate or amplify your spiritual awakening. In your spread, I get the sense this may be an event that you’ll feel coming with quite a bit of anticipation. This is when you’ll feel utterly transformed.

Pile 3: Fox
You’re Going to Build It
Your first card is Birthing a New Age with the wisdom message of “Birthing new creations. Dreaming a new world into being.” What I find interesting about your spread is that this creation is not a result of your spiritual awakening, but a contributor to it.
Perhaps you’ll also receive divine inspiration upon activation or amplification, but you’re going to contribute to that spiritual transformation with effort.
There’s something about your spread and your energy that suggests a burning fire. Your efforts are an offering to the universe that only you can provide. It’s a spiritual exchange and a deep relationship. I wouldn’t be surprised if a spirit guide or some other entity makes itself known to you upon activation.
Either way, you’re placing building blocks to your spiritual awakening that’s going to create a foundation for your future soul journey.
Doing What Must Be Done
But before you get all excited, the next card, The Lovers, Reversed, indicates that what you’re going to create isn’t going to be a passion project. There may be something in your life that you need to attend to or a project that you’re no longer inspired by which still needs to get done.
I know, you were hoping for something fun and traditionally creative. I empathize. However, some who choose this pile have an obligation that must be met whether they care for it or not. Others may not care for their project and it’s not necessary to be completed, but it’s deeply desired by someone else.
When it comes to life and spiritual awakenings, not every event or chapter is fun and without frustration. Growth often comes from conflict, so I do think that your spread promises the most dramatic growth of any readings today.
Keep this in mind as you push yourself to meet your obligations. It’s hard work, but you have to do it.
I’m reminded of a moment from the show Chernobyl. The nuclear power plant was going into a meltdown and would kill millions of people if it wasn’t stopped. Crew were called in and they asked why they should risk their lives for so little money. They were told: “You’ll do it because it must be done. You’ll do it because nobody else can. And if you don’t, millions will die. If you tell me that’s not enough, I won’t believe you.”
Your own obligations may not be as severe, but they are important. Embrace that. Not everything worthwhile or necessary is enjoyable. But it must be done.
Learning Something Amazing
Your final card is The Hermit. Ultimately, your efforts will likely result in the activation or amplification of your spiritual awakening. You’ll introspect or seclude yourself for a time. This is when you’ll receive a personal enlightenment that will increase your wisdom and awareness of the universe.
Eventually, you’ll come down from your mountain with new revelations that will be important and consequential to your life or the lives of others. If you tell me that’s not enough, I won’t believe you.
