Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s see what’s coming for you in December 2025.
Pile 1: Koala

Personal Passion Project
You’re preparing for the year ahead by looking within and deciding what really moves you. The Queen of Fire is you, and it references your desire and passion in life.
Even if you expect a lot of responsibility next year, you need to make progress on something that’s personal to you. In the last year, there was this trend called the personal curriculum wherein people on social media talked about their plans for self-education.
You don’t need to make a personal curriculum if your passion lies elsewhere, but the lesson of the trend is crucial to understanding how to approach this month to make the next year a happy experience for you.
Take some time throughout the month to sample all the things you love or think you love. Make a list if need be and check them off. Then, rate them on how much you enjoy them. Circle the one that gave you the most joy by the end of the month.
Value Your Time
The Six of Air is about movement and refers to the progress in your passion project. Specifically, it’s about not looking back and prioritizing that progress.
You may be tempted to prepare for the next year by creating an elaborate passion plan with multiple moving parts. You want to do so many things. Resist that temptation.
I recently learned something from Ruri Ohama that has stuck with me: you can only prioritize one thing. Whatever you want to be the biggest emphasis in your life can’t compete with a second priority.
It’s not that you can’t do other things, but that when you approach life and decide what comes first you identify what actually comes first. This is what the next month is all about for you: finding the one passion that should be your priority for the next year either in work or in your leisure time.
As an example, imagine someone in this pile discovers that they really love to watch movies. However, they constantly find themselves putting off their beloved movie time after work for scrolling on social media. But they value movies and get the most enjoyment out of it from any task.
The solution would be, after work, to watch a movie before doing any other leisure task. That’s prioritization. It should come first before other tasks. The way dopamine works makes it necessary for you to prioritize the task you want to be the most interesting. Anything that comes after won’t have the same power in your mind. It’ll be more boring if it requires effort to complete.
Play the Game of Life
You need a challenge. The Five of Fire is about conflict, but it can be a friendly conflict. In this case, I see it as challenging yourself to make a personal best.
View the next month as a challenge. It’s a game. A game of finding what passion you’re going to prioritize.
You often see people challenging themselves to read a certain number of books each year. You’re going to do the same, but this time, condensing that survey of interests into a single month or even just a few weeks.
Be realistic. Consider how much time you can spend on that survey and then estimate how much time you can spend on each thing in that list. Then try to put as many things of value on that list as possible. Really consider all the things you’re passionate about and try them all.
I get the sense from this spread that you aren’t living passionately, and this month is about re-engaging with your passions. Yes, you’re going to find which passion is your ultimate priority, but you will, through introspection, naturally rank the others. Some may fall off, you may have new secondary passions… the point is that, by the end of the month, you know exactly what lights your fire.
It’s time to love your daily life again. Stop living purely on your to do list. Make that to do list into something which reflects your heart.

Things Going Your Way
Something is returning to you this month in a good way. The Justice card makes it clear that you’re receiving something you deserve that was previously denied to you. Due to it being a major arcana card alongside another major arcana card, this is something important and significant either in the moment or for your future.
You’re due your life being re-balanced. Something is out of alignment and that’s making it difficult for you to move forward. So expect this month for a shift in your lived experience to be more positive.
Notice how the woman here is illuminated by what appears to be the moon. It’s possible that what is being given to you is something you didn’t even realize until now was needed. It may come as a surprise blessing, but you’ll soon realize that it should’ve always been in your life.
Trusting the Universe
With the Fool card coming in next, this is about optimism and even being naïve. That’s a good thing since you’ve been on the business end of misfortune lately whether you’ve known it or not.
The shift I talked about previously is also going to change your perspective. You’ll be more optimistic and willing to take risks because you’ll feel safe enough to do so for the first time in a long time.
This risk could be something important, or it could be something fun. You might want to test things out first before taking a bigger risk, and that’s okay. This spread does indicate an effect that will last longer than December, so you don’t have to be worried that you can manifest the blessing coming your way in totality this month. You’ll have more time than just December to make use of it.
Remember to Love Yourself
The Six of Water is about nostalgia and emotional resonance with the past. It’s a known human phenomena that we tend to look at the past more favorably than the experience actually was.
Be aware that your blessing is likely to make you look at the negatives that happened and say… oh, it wasn’t that bad. This is how people use gratitude and other positive thinking mechanisms to cope with difficulty.
However, if someone or a system wronged you, don’t be so quick to trust them a second time. Verify their intentions before you give them the benefit of the doubt. You were wronged once and it’s possible for it to happen again.
I don’t say this to scare you, but to remind you that not everyone who has to pay the cost for doing wrong redeems themselves. Just because someone got caught doesn’t mean they’ll change their ways. They just get sneakier.
Part of the reason why this blessing surprises you is because you didn’t value yourself enough to expect more from other people and systems. You should’ve been treated fairly from the beginning.

Pile 3: Flamingo

Major Month
This will be a major month of the year for you. However much people see you accomplish, there will be more happening in your head. That turmoil will be what you experience beyond the success everyone else sees.
The first card, Transformation, is an indication you’ll be experiencing a personal life change. It’s not clear in the spread what this exact change will be, but the minor context of the second card suggests it’ll be related to work or a personal project you care about.
You’ve done a lot of hard work already and now you’re going to see the fruits of your labor. You’ll be both in awe, but also a little anxious. The transformation will lead to a new phase, and you won’t know how to approach it at first.
The Raw Seed of Potential
But the second card, Magician, makes it clear that you have all the raw resources and talents to manifest after entering the next phase. It won’t feel like it at first, but that’s just because the transformation led to a novel state of being.
A good example would be someone getting a new job they’re qualified for and then easing into that life change successfully. Or someone who loses a lot of weight and no longer needs to cut calories and instead focuses on maintenance.
That’s what I mean by not knowing how to approach it at first. The strategy required will be different and you’ll be afraid you can’t handle it, but you can. Your skills are transferable to your transformation.
Don’t Give Up After Just Starting
People are sometimes afraid to succeed or manifest the next stage of their project. The Ten of Air is feeling as if you’ve been betrayed or that everything has ended. But, in reality, it’s about a new beginning.
Because you’re afraid of that new beginning, some who chose this pile may not do the last step to achieve their transformation. Others will do that last step, but then be too afraid to go further.
You need to trust yourself that every new ending is a new beginning. It can be painful sometimes because you don’t want to let go of what you know.
After all, despite your raw potential and skills, you haven’t yet proven yourself in this new phase.
There will be some friction and perhaps a few mistakes. That’s normal. See them as the minor grind and experience gathering you need to shape your raw potential into something that works.
Be okay with not being perfect right away. I know the quality you’re used to won’t be the same at first, but you’ll get there again. Have faith in your ability to rise because you’ve risen before and you will rise again sooner than you think.
