Put This in Spiritual Storage: Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! If you were attracted to this tarot reading, then the universe thinks you should put something in spiritual storage to help manage your energy.
All you have to do is pick the pile that sticks out to you the most. Which animal inspires your intuition? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Good Tarot deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s find out what you need to put in spiritual storage and why.
Pile 1: Bunny
Care for Your Body
It seems like the universe wants to have you prepped for an upcoming challenge. Your first card, Chariot, means you need a reserve of physical, mental, or emotional energy to tackle something that will be difficult.
How do you store this up? Make it a practice to have self-care and leisure time in your schedule. Ideally, this would be at least a half hour each day, but as long as you end each day and start the next refreshed you’re going in the right direction.
For some who chose this pile, you don’t need a lot of time to unwind, but for others, you need a significant amount and it needs to be of a certain quality.
Just because you like doing something doesn’t mean it applies. You’re looking for low-effort activities for relaxation or activities which make you stronger in the long term (like exercise). Most people don’t find that social media refreshes them, but taking a walk does even if they dislike walking. Know the difference so you’re storing up energy correctly.
Sneaky Thief
The next card in your spread is the Seven of Air which is a card of theft. Someone or something is going to take something from you soon. This could be a material object, a relationship, an opportunity, or even your peace of mind!
Some of you may even find that this is happening right now.
Regardless, the point of relaxing your body is that it relieves tension. This will allow you to be in the best possible shape for the challenge that comes your way.
The good news: you can win this challenge. Caring for your body now will eliminate this current or future threat.
I think you’re not currently in a position to withstand this threat. You’re tired or you don’t have the actual energy to tackle it.
This has spiritual consequences because if you’re stolen from, you may feel like you don’t have control over your life. But you do. And step one is making sure you’re refreshed each day for the challenges ahead.
Choose Optimism
The third card is Fool. There’s a positive and negative message here and it’s rather obvious. You’d be foolish not to make sure you’re rested.
But the positive message is more elusive. This is a reminder from the universe that the good meaning of this care is one of optimism. If you’re well rested, you aren’t going to approach the world with a scarcity mindset. Instead, you’ll have an abundant one.
That’s what being refreshed does for you. It creates a spiritual reserve of positive vibrations that will attract good things to you. And who doesn’t want good luck?

Pile 2: Raccoon
Pull Back a Little
It seems like you need spiritual rest according to the Four of Air. I tend to read this card either as literal rest or with spiritual connotations, so in this reading, it seems to be suggesting you need to pull back from some spiritual activities.
But what does this mean and why?
Not all spiritual activities are restful. Some things we do can require a lot of energy and effort to achieve. You may like it and enjoy the results, but you need a break afterward.
It seems like the universe is saying to pull back on something for a little while. I think this is either because you’re treating it too much like a routine that you’re dead to the spiritual effects or these activities are going to be so loud that you can’t receive messages.
Which is exactly what is happening in the rest of your spread. So let’s get into it.
Eureka Moment
The next card in your spread is the Messenger of Air. This is an intellectual message or piece of knowledge that you’re going to encounter in your environment or realize once things in your mind start to click.
There may be spiritual associations with this or there may not be, but doing spiritual rituals won’t help you to receive this message any sooner. It may even delay it.
Physical proof requires physical evidence and methods. Spiritual proof requires spiritual evidence and methods. And intellectual proof? You guessed it! It requires intellectual evidence and methods.
It’s likely a realization or theory about your life. A person who wants to find a career they love needs intellectual evidence to differentiate which would be more interesting. How much a career pays, what happens during the day, and so on are all intellectual comprehensions. It’s not something a person lives through before they get the job, but it is something they need to understand before they apply.
This is what you need. Not a tangible manifestation or a spiritual event, but an intellectual understanding of something in your life. You don’t know enough and that needs to change.
Passion Unleashed
Your final card is the Messenger of Fire. After understanding comes passion, so I can only assume there’s something you can’t be passionate about until you know it’s a rational fit.
By taking a break from spiritual practices you will be able to focus intellectually on learning something important. And then when you’re ready to act on that knowledge, you’re going to have a burst of spiritual energy to boost your efforts.
Expect the time following your eureka moment to be super powerful and super exciting. You may be putting your spiritual energy into storage right now… but it’s coming out again with a bang!

Pile 3: Parrot
Let Go for Now
You have a more frustrating spread. Your first card, Six of Water, is about nostalgia. You need to put either your past into spiritual storage or let go of something.
Now, this is spiritual storage. You aren’t banishing it from your life forever. But right now, it doesn’t have a place in your life and needs to fade a bit.
This is likely to be unpleasant for you but necessary. Perhaps you need to put a hobby aside to spend time on something important, go on a diet, or spend less time with someone you care about, but who is just too negative.
That’s what I’m talking about here. A temporary pause. There may be other things in your life that need to go for good, but that’s not what the universe sees as relevant for this spread.
Whatever this is I see it as taking up a lot of time and energy and it doesn’t have to. It’s distracting you and may even be causing you to build up negative feelings towards it that will be harmful later.
Focus On What Matters
Your second card is Ten of Air. This is the betrayal or ruin card. I see one of two things happening for this pile. The first is that whatever you need to let go of temporarily is at risk of causing you harm.
A good example of this would be a hobby you love that’s taking up all your time so that you can’t focus on work or family. There’s nothing wrong with the hobby itself, just how much time you’re spending on it now.
The second meaning is that you’re in a place of ruin. Letting go of this thing will help you focus on doing the hard work to pull yourself out.
Either way, you need to know that you only have so much energy. And when you’re focusing on something so strongly that it creates a fantasy world for you to escape to, you can’t tend to your needs.
Because that’s what’s happening here. The nostalgia of the first card is about creating a fantasy world. It’s beautiful, but it’s an illusion. You need to tend to something first.
Bind Yourself
Your third card is Eight of Swords. This is about willingly restricting yourself. Remember this is only temporary, and it is a restriction you control, but it’s a commitment you make for your future.
Consider a vision board or journaling exercise where you visualize something you want to achieve. But whatever you need to let go of is in the way.
When I was younger, I met a girl who boxed up all her video games and drove them to a family member’s house so she wouldn’t even be tempted to use them while she was taking college classes. It was an extreme measure, but she had the tendency to lose track of time and only play games. She went and got them when the term was over and had a great time.
You may need to make a strict commitment like this in your life, at least temporarily, so you can get back on track. But know that if you do… you’re going to succeed at your goals. It’s going to help you embody more abundant energy and use that in life.
