Your Soul Purpose — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic tarot reading on your soul purpose. This is something you’re meant to do in this life. It may be your singular purpose or an additional side quest you’ll find very fulfilling.
To receive your message from the universe, pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Angel Tarot deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to uncover your soul purpose.
Pile 1: Red Flower

Lay Back in Leisure
I see that your soul purpose is a contemplative one where you enjoy the good things in life. The closest equivalent lifestyle to this would be the intelligentsia or someone living a slow, romanticized life. It’s less about achieving and more about experiencing.
The first card, Four of Air, is about taking all the rest you need. But, specifically, living at a slower and more methodical pace. You aren’t meant to be in a rush. You’re meant to feel at ease.
This is a clear sign that your soul purpose is one of analysis or careful understanding. By truly observing and comprehending the world around you, it helps to elevate the awareness of the greater consciousness.
For example, many people will radiate a spiritual energy through contemplative practices or through living a cozy lifestyle. The reason why this is so helpful is that it creates a happy energy shift in those you come into contact with. You don’t have a tense, frantic energy, but one that’s very inviting.
Imagine a parent. While it’s important to clean and do childcare, having a happy, easygoing energy allows the children to grow in the right atmosphere.
So take it easy. Your soul will radiate ease for others to be attracted to.
Power of Connection
Because you’re a human being, I’m not surprised to see that the Ten of Water is in your spread. This is about emotional fulfillment, specifically through relationships though it can occur through creativity or spirituality.
Since this spread isn’t about humans in general, this card emphasizes the specific importance and promise of this area in your life. There’s a good chance you’ll fall in love, have a family, pursue a life of spirituality, or enjoy the happy intuition of creativity.
It’s possible the universe has a specific plan for you to pursue one of these areas, but so far in this spread, I see this energy being one of choice. You sit back, observe, and do what feels right. Maybe it’s all those things. Maybe it’s just one.
So if any of the ones I mentioned sound too hard, that particular possibility for this card may not be for you while the others are.
And, even if you do pursue the others on the side, it’s likely one or two of the mentioned list will be more prominent in regards to your soul purpose.
Exploration of the Mind
Another strong intellectual card in your spread is the Queen of Air. This is where the heart and mind converge with a slight preference for the mind. Part of your soul purpose is to explore educational pursuits that interest you.
These are likely to be in people-oriented rather than object-oriented areas. For example, the social sciences instead of the hard sciences. If you are interested in more object-oriented areas, you’ll probably want to apply it in a social or humanitarian way (for example, a programmer who creates an app to help people).
You may find that this card aligns with a career option for you, but don’t be afraid to see it as a hobby-oriented card. A person’s soul purpose doesn’t have to be aligned with their career if they don’t want it to be.
Either way though – learn more and use your mind. It’ll be very fulfilling for you.
It’s not that I see you as passive, but more receptive. You’re a vessel to be filled with wonderful things. That vessel, when full, will radiate a powerful energy of its own.

Pile 2: Pink Petals

Celebrate the Milestones
You have an especially social spread. The first card, Three of Water, is about social joy, especially in the event sense.
This could also indicate that there’s going to be an important milestone in your life that should be observed. This could be a wedding, graduation, or the birth of someone close to you. The examples from the card make it clear there’s a social or communal element involved.
Many of these examples also require work to attain either in a romantic relationship or through personal effort like studying.
Consider what you feel drawn to commit to in your life that is traditionally celebrated by the people closest to you. Even if that particular commitment seems out of reach right now, there’s a strong indication in your spread that your soul purpose is to pursue and achieve that.
Have faith in yourself. And if you don’t currently have a commitment you’re in pursuit of, be open to the idea it’s on the horizon for you soon.
Speak and Be Heard
I see some social savvy in you. The King of Water card is a mastery of the social or intuitive domain. Some may find it’s an emotional mastery – however, it’ll be applied outward to other people and situations instead of internally.
That doesn’t mean you have to be extroverted. I’m one of the most introverted people I’ve ever met (my computer science classmates the only exception), but I learned how to talk to strangers (and enjoy it despite it being tiring) as well as public speaking. This helped me to do well in school and work.
Simply put, you have the raw skills to use some sort of social or spiritual skill in the greater community. You may not use it all of the time, but your soul purpose is accepting and implementing this natural gift.
Think of an author who spends 99% of their time working on their novel. But when it’s time to market their novel, they’re charismatic in interviews and public events.
Don’t think you have that gift yet? It may need some refining, but you can do it. In high school, I stuttered and had panic attacks when speaking in public. I no longer do that. Whatever you think may be blocking you from developing or applying your social skills, it’ll be overcome and you’ll achieve excellence.
Because you’re meant to do it.
Not Alone
Your third card, Nine of Fire, is about maintaining what you’re passionate about through struggles. For me, this is also a spirit guide card. Considering the social element of your spread, I think that you’re going to have in real life social support and spiritual support.
You may not even realize your effect on people – perhaps because you don’t abuse it. But know that if you ask for help or choose to network, it’ll be a major boon in your life and in what matters to you.
But you’ll also have spiritual support from the universe in the guise of spirit guides, angels, and so on. If you choose to communicate with them directly, they’ll respond back to you clearer over time.
And know that they’re already working in your life and sending you signs to guide you on your way. Because something you’re passionate about as a career or personal interest isn’t just your preference… it’s part of your soul purpose and you’re meant to achieve that with the help of your spiritual team.

Pile 3: Floral Bouquet

Be Political For a Period of Your Life
This spread is an indication of one soul purpose event in your life, but perhaps not the only one. The first card, Seven of Fire, indicates you’re going to take part in an activist or political cause. Not specifically charity, but rather something where not everyone in society agrees.
So, for example, saving abandoned kittens? Yeah, that’s popular. That doesn’t apply. But perhaps something more controversial, like abortion and pro-life or pro-choice, would. Your particular cause may be something wildly different, but you get the idea.
That said, this card is very clear it’s not about you becoming a professional activist or semi-professional activist for many causes. Instead, it’s going to be one to three that you really devote yourself to. Perhaps not your entire life, but a devoted period of sincere effort.
There’s a good chance the people in your life, some of whom you love dearly, won’t all agree with your position. Stick to your moral foundations and do what you can to persuade others, but know that you won’t persuade everyone. That doesn’t mean you go to war and cut the people you love out of your life.
It’s a controversial position because it’s not a universal position. A lot of work will need to be done before there’s a universal stance. You’re part of a chain in that sequence.
In fact, you may choose to take your battle to a specific battleground or group that you volunteer for.
If you don’t currently have a strongly held controversial belief, consider brainstorming after this reading what your values are and what you tend to disagree with others on. That’ll be your answer.
Go Bravely Forward
I get the distinct impression from The Chariot card that your activism won’t be in your inner circle. So I do strongly advise you not to try and change hearts and minds there. This card is about venturing into the unknown, achieving something, and then returning home victorious.
Don’t be surprised if someone who disagrees with you in your circle actually does congratulate you on your hard work. Even if their own minds aren’t changed, they may recognize that you worked very hard.
Which goes to the point of this card: I think you’re going to apply your efforts to a specific and targeted campaign. Perhaps you help fundraise for an activist group you support one summer and help them significantly. Or you volunteer your skills to help market a specific advertising campaign.
This is partly why I think your soul purpose is limited. It’s hard work to be an activist your entire life, but most people are strongly opinionated about something and want to make a change. You’re going to make a change and convince many people in a limited time frame. But not everyone – and that’s okay.
So don’t be afraid to temporarily commit yourself to the cause. You’ll feel fulfilled because you will succeed.
Why Your Participation Is Limited
The final card, Eight of Water, is about moving on. It’s not that you don’t care about your cause, but that you likely have other goals in life that will need your focus too. Everything in life has a season and eventually your season of activism will pass as well.
I once heard someone argue that the problem with non-profits is when they succeed. Suddenly, everyone in the non-profit no longer has a job so they translate those skills to a different cause. They may not even truly care about that new cause – but they need to get paid or participate for social reasons.
Walking away from your cause isn’t a bad thing. Over time, all causes naturally change either because they succeed or there’s a different activist structure in place that you no longer feel is a good fit for you. And a person who isn’t truly motivated by the heart isn’t truly useful anyway.
Choosing to have a targeted and limited scope in your participation allows you to have a meaningful contribution without it consuming your life or you becoming disillusioned with the professional activist path.
What if you’re already a professional activist? Then this could either be a sign you’ll move on in the future or it’s referring to a secondary and temporary cause you take on. We tend to value more than one thing, after all.
Your soul purpose is, essentially, a sincere contribution towards a cause you value when it matters most to you and when you can put the most effort into it.
