Hello, my soul friends! Today we’ll be looking into what karmic connections you’ll be exempted from as a gift from the universe. This is the energy that has followed you through many lifetimes. It may also be connected to your family or community.

All you have to do is pick the pile that sticks out to you the most. Which crystal inspires your intuition? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading.

Now it’s time to uncover your soul exemption.

Pile 1: Amethyst

You Have Options

I see that your first card is Pathway. This tells me that you’re going to be exempted from what seems to be an inevitable destiny. This may be a path similar to your family or one that’s expected of a member of your community.

It could also indicate that you have multiple options for how to pursue your destiny. An example of this might be that your life purpose is music – but you could pursue that through singing, production, or teaching. That’s what I mean here.

Either way, your reading suggests you may assume limitations to your life path that don’t exist in reality. So whatever you currently think are the boundaries of your life path: expand them. You have different possibilities for how it’s going to manifest.

It’s Okay to Be Different

Your next card is Privileged Lady which I interpret to mean you aren’t going to live a life determined by conventions or mindless comfort. That doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy your life or have leisure, but that your enjoyment isn’t going to be conditioned by society.

That’s the universe giving you permission to be a rebel. You’re going to be the one who defines your life and it’s likely some aspect of who you are isn’t going to “fit” your environment. Think of an ardent painter who loves living life by a schedule or an accountant who plays punk rock on the weekends.

You can’t be stereotyped and that means you’re free of fulfilling expectations that can’t match your individuality.

Live Your Best Life

The third card is Change. I see that as modifying your previous cards and explaining the effect of what’s happening in your life.

You aren’t going to be stuck on a narrow path with annoying rules. Instead, your life and the way you live it is going to be visionary.

I once tutored a South Korean exchange student who studied at my college in West Virginia. Even though he appreciated the public transportation in his home country, he loved the freedom of being able to own a car and drive wherever he wanted without a lot of schedules, traffic, or high prices.

Even though he had a car back in Seoul, he wasn’t able to use it in the same way he did in America and defaulted to public transportation most of the time.

That same energy is something I see in your life too. The idea of being able to bravely forge forward into the unknown and go on an adventure of your design isn’t just something you can do – it’s something you should do.

Don’t wait for the universe to write your destiny for you. Go ahead and start filling out the wonderful details yourself through whatever thrilling chapter you want to start next.

Pile 2: Rose Quartz

You Should Look the Gift Horse in the Mouth

With your first card being Gift, you may feel as if your spread is a curse instead of a blessing. However, the context of your spread is important: not all gifts are given with sincerity.

If you asked the people close to you they would likely confess that there was a time they thought an opportunity or windfall would improve their life, but then it did the opposite. And this breeds distrust in whatever person or system betrayed them.

That curse may seem to be something you may be affected by, especially as the second and third cards suggest systematic oppression that you may feel victimized by.

But know that’s not the case. Whatever system is oppressing you, you’re stronger than that oppression and your soul is exempted from all the bad karma that could manifest from that oppression. You will break the cycle.

You Won’t Be Financially Doomed

The particular cycle that you’re breaking is very specific: Poverty with the second card. Either your family isn’t as wealthy as they should be or there’s some element of your life that seems initially financially cursed.

Here’s an example that fits this and is something many young Americans worry about: student loans. Students took out loans believing their education would secure them a good job, but it didn’t.

In this situation, this spread would be saying even if it looks bad right now and you’ll never be able to pay off your loans, something is going to change. The problem is going to be resolved.

I don’t read this being the loans magically discharged, but that you earn and control the payoff of that debt in a way that’s empowering.

You may or may not have student loans, but your life is functioning similarly to this example. What you think you can’t financially overcome will be overcome.

You Are Your Own Hero

The third card in your spread is Official Person. This represents the person or system who seems to be your savior but isn’t.

If you hold out hope that some outside force is going to rescue you then you have an external locus of control. This disempowers you psychologically and lowers your vibrations spiritually. Because the help that seems promised sometimes isn’t delivered.

Instead, you need to have an internal locus of control. You’re going to save yourself.

And that’s what the universe wants you to know about your soul exemption: your karma isn’t forcing you into a situation where you’re powerless. Instead, you have power and you’re going to learn how to use it to improve your life.

Pile 3: Fluorite

Don’t Follow Everyone Else

Your spread has all good things, so you probably think a soul exemption of this is bad news. However, I don’t see that in your spread as the way I channeled this reading was based on bad karma.

Your first card is Marriage and I see that you’re being exempted from the negative stereotypes of marriage. Some of you may not get married and be very happy with that decision. Others will get find love again after a divorce and realize you can fall in love more than once in life and don’t need to assume you’ll be unhappy if a first marriage breaks up.

Others may have a non-traditional marriage. Perhaps you and your spouse live in different places, get married younger or older than average – and a whole host of possibilities.

It’s easy to build up an idea of a perfect marriage and then be disappointed in the love life you end up with even though it’s amazing. Your soul is being exempted from false expectations and seeing the wonder of marriage differently. Your way.

Your Home Will Look Different

The second card is Family Room and this is another sign that your expectations won’t match reality. Some of you may decide not to have children or have children in a way that’s not common in your culture. In America, that would be having children too young, having children at an older age, adoption, and et cetera.

Remember that family comes in many different forms. Sometimes that’s by blood or adoption, and other times through intense friendship and community.

Open yourself to the possibility that your definition of family is going to be different than the one that’s normal where you’re from. And that’s fine. Because your need for family isn’t going to match an artificial framework.

I also, funny enough, see this card as an indication that some of you may be nomads or live in very small homes by choice.

Your Net Worth Is On Purpose

The third card in your spread is Sudden Wealth. You’re not going to inherit a fortune or have overnight success. But this is a good thing as sudden wealth often comes unearned or unappreciated.

Whatever level of wealth you have is going to be one you’ll be happy with because you won’t determine your happiness through your income. Some who chose this pile may have very frugal lives but enjoy their leisure or passion jobs. Others may be very wealthy and not even notice.

I also think some may gradually build wealth through a career, business, or investing, so the wealth you end up with is a lifestyle you’ve purposefully cultivated over many years.

Even though your soul is exempting you from the ideal fantasies of society, I think you’re going to realize this allows you to personalize your life to your interests in a way that wouldn’t have been permitted otherwise. What you want isn’t always what everyone else wants.
