Your Person Wants to Tell You This: Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a reading for those in a relationship or those who feel a romantic connection between them and another person. We’re going to find out what they’re thinking about you and what that could mean for your love life.
All you have to do is pick the pile that sticks out to you the most. Which illustration inspires your intuition? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Lover’s Oracle deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to hear what your person wants to tell you.
Pile 1: Bird
Open Energy
Your reading is all about your first card, Freedom. Here the wisdom message is “There is nothing stopping you. The path is clear if you want it to be.”
The overall energy of this is obvious, but it’s going to take a different form for many who chose this pile. For some of you, especially if you’re in a relationship, this means potentially ending that relationship or cutting some sort of restriction or “rule” between the two of you.
Something is stifling in this relationship and that needs to be taken care of or the relationship is going to meet its natural end.
Now for those who are single, this energy is happier. It suggests that the person on your mind is open to starting a relationship with you. Be aware that it won’t be a secure commitment right away. Instead, you’ll be exploring each other.
That does mean the relationship may only be temporary because you’ll find out you aren’t a match. But for some of you, the match will be clear once you spend time together.
Don’t agonize over this. Instead, see it as an opportunity to pursue romance and see where it leads without trying to plan it. You are on the path to true love. You may just need to find out what you truly want first with comparisons.
Have Fun
The next card has the wisdom message of “Life is a series of constantly shifting cycles. When we resist change, we resist the natural flow of life and create unnecessary stress. Go with the flow – you will be surprised where it leads.”
Right now it seems like you’re trying to push your romantic life until you get it to where you want to go. But you lack openness. This I think is endangering the romance for those in a relationship.
As for the singles out there, you’re also trying to manifest and plan your romantic future with no real concern about how you feel. This is how some people create a checklist for a partner, but when they find them they realize that what they thought they wanted wasn’t what they needed.
Romance is cooperation. You love and receive love in return. It’s not a transaction, but a gift.
Many relationships have high and low periods. That’s why it’s so important to learn how to love your partner and grow that love. That can only happen if you’re open to letting your partner lead you sometimes and break away from the plan. Love should be an adventure.
Good Signs for a Bright Romantic Future
New Beginning is your last card and it has the wisdom message of “A new adventure awaits. Embrace it and live your dreams passionately.”
I think some who chose this pile may realize it’s time to move on from a relationship that no longer serves them. You’ll find love again, and probably soon.
However, this spread doesn’t always mean breaking up if you have a partner. Instead, it’s about doing something unexpected or out of character to spice up your romantic life.
You’re in a funk and that’s something you can change.
As for the singles, this is a very happy sign that the person you’re interested in seems to be interested in you. Ask them out directly, or if you prefer to be pursued, show interest with a genuine smile and lay down a date suggestion like, “Have you heard about that new movie? I’m so excited about it.”
Open the door and the other person will walk through it.

Pile 2: Angel
Need to Let Go
I see that the first card in your spread is Forgiveness with the wisdom message of “Stop focusing your energy on past events, for life is too precious to waste. You create your reality by what you think and dream and imagine.”
One of the four horsemen of divorce is contempt. There’s something about dwelling in negativity and projecting that as your partner’s worth that tears relationships apart. And in your spread, this indicates a need not to forgive current problems, but to forgive what is no longer supposed to be a problem.
For those in a relationship, something happened in the past that you haven’t forgotten and haven’t chosen to forgive even if amends were made. You likely assume only the worst possible for your relationship unless a miracle occurs. Your partner is afraid nothing they do will ever be enough because of this.
As for those who are single, this indicates that you’re projecting past experiences on the person you’re interested in. They can’t ever measure up because of this. Perhaps what happened to you in the past was terrible, but that doesn’t mean the person you’re interested in was involved or will repeat what happened.
Give Yourself Space
The good news is that your spread is quite positive. The second card, Transformation, has the wisdom message of “Your relationship with one another is about to deepen. Love conquers and transforms all things.”
When you forgive your partner or love interest, it gives room for romance to grow. If you approach the other person with resentment, that doesn’t leave space for true love. It doesn’t leave space for growth.
Choose instead to love your partner or the person you’re interested in. Maybe you can’t do this 100% because it takes time for you to process forgiveness, but you will achieve it and it’s going to transform the relationship.
That’s because love is powerful. It can seem like love is a scarce resource, but the more you tend to it, the bigger it gets. That’s why new love, the kind of love that happens at the beginning of relationships, tends to only be lust instead of the kind of deep contentment older couples have.
Know that by choosing to forgive even a little, your love is going to grow from that. It will mature from what it currently is. And the love you experience from this other person will grow too.
You’re Strong
The third card in your spread is Power with the wisdom message of “You instinctively know what is right for you and you have the power to say no or walk away at any time.”
The reason why you need to forgive is primarily that you feel the only power you have in a relationship is your approval. You don’t think you can control if you’re in a good relationship or not and all you can do is react with moral judgment to what you receive. So you disengage as much as possible because you believe you can’t attract good love.
But that’s not true. For those in a relationship, your partner can grow to become a better person and deserve your forgiveness. For those who are single, you can find someone worthy of you.
And if you ever find yourself in a truly heinous situation, you don’t just have to accept it or be alone. You can walk away and find love again. So when you do find someone worthy of you, allow the seed of romance to grow.

Pile 3: Couple
Let Your Interests Guide You
You have a fun spread. Your first card is Playfulness with the wisdom message of “Laughter is the best therapy. Have some fun together and remember love is the greatest healer.”
This is a sign from the universe to go on a date. Love should always be an adventure where you get to know your partner more. Even couples who have been together for eighty years can learn and experience new things with their partners by going on dates.
Single people who chose this pile also need to realize that dates need to be fun. Although you should use dates to help you determine if the person is right for you, don’t look at it like a job interview.
Even if you find out the person isn’t right, you should pick dates that would be fun regardless. Not every date that doesn’t lead to a relationship has to be miserable.
Consider what it is you like to do and go do that with your partner or love interest. Be yourself and it’s going to make dating a great experience at any stage in a relationship.
Know Negative Emotions Will Occur
Your next card has the wisdom message of “Emotions are a natural and necessary part of life, but they can also distort your perception and cloud your vision. In order to see things clearly, you must let go of resentment.”
The reason why play is so important for dating is that we often approach relationships as either materialism or sex. So what your partner earns, how they help around the house, and physical attraction. All those things are important, but it can lead to problems that fester.
The fact is, whether you’re in a relationship or you’re interested in someone, your partner is going to fail you. And you’re going to fail them too. They might lose their job, struggle with cleaning sometimes, or have a lower sex drive.
That’s because these are obligations that we feel we’re owed and failure to deliver is usually interpreted as an insult instead of normal human folly. Dates and being playful turn that obligation on its head and reframes your relationship into something mutual, in-the-moment enjoyment instead of just responsibility.
It creates a positive energy that grows in your relationship into something beautiful. The partner you enjoy going to the movies with is also the partner you’re able to discuss important and not-so-fun matters with too.
You know this person isn’t just a robot who you’re exchanging responsibilities in a relationship with. It’s deeper than that.
You’re Triggered By Who You Love
The final message in your spread is “Beware of what you’re projecting, for the qualities you admire in one another are the qualities you both possess. Equally so, the qualities you don’t like are also your own reflection.”
Opposites attract is somewhat true, but these opposites still have some foundational similarities that are necessary to keep the relationship together. You may not have the same qualities in the same amount, but it’s there. Like attracts like.
That’s why I want you to date more. It’s going to bring out the qualities in you and your partner that you share and you can use them to your advantage.
It’s important to have shared interests with those you love. You don’t have to like everything the same, but you need something to bond with. And if you don’t know what that is yet… start exploring. With dating. Then build your relationship off that.
