Your Peak Spiritual Experience: Tarot Pick a Card
A person’s spirituality can be summarized in their spiritual awakening. But a spiritual awakening is a process, not a singular event, as you’re always partly asleep and partly awake in a spiritual liminal sense. This tarot pick a card is to help you obtain your next spiritual peak which is more powerful than anything for you so far. Are you ready?
All you have to do is look at the piles of cards above. Which animal stands out to you the most? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading!
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Golden Art Nouveau Tarot and the Starseed Oracle decks (these are affiliate links that support me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s level up your spiritual awakening.
Pile 1: Cat
Make It Personal
The first card in your spread is All Paths Lead Home with the wisdom message of “Inner authority. Intuition. Turn your gaze within.” Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean you only focus on your interior world, but that your peak spiritual experience will be very personal and distinct.
See how the woman in the card is performing some sort of ritual outdoors? There’s perhaps a connection to earth spirits or seasonal cycles, but she’s alone. What she’s doing is for herself.
I recently heard a Norse pagan talk about a problem with the reconstruction of her religion which has stuck out to me ever since. Too often, people focus on scant historical records or their literary sagas instead of the personal experience they have with their gods. The sagas were written down by Christians and most of the historians aren’t pagan themselves.
There’s a serious lack of faith in the discussion among the academics for that reason, yet many Norse pagans look to them as if they were the gospel.
You need to think more like this Norse pagan: trust your intuition and alter your spiritual practices to fit your personal needs. This is how your peak spiritual experience will manifest: your own soul transcending with your practice.
Go on a Journey
Your second card is a continuation of the first. Here we have The Hermit which features an old man venturing into the mountains. His solitude is to help him better understand the mysteries of the world through deep contemplation. This is breaking away from the normal world and living in a place between Heaven and Earth (thus the mountain).
Yes, you may find it beneficial to go to a mountain, but the purpose behind this card is deeper than a geographic location. You need to go on a personal spiritual adventure. Within that adventure, your peak spiritual experience will manifest itself like an epiphany.
What would your spiritual adventure look like? It could be a hike, pouring through wisdom literature, or a spiritual practice. It’s really up to you and your intuition.
Something Will Change
The third card here is the Page of Pentacles. This is a youthful card in comparison to the last and I see it as representing your new spiritual practice after your peak spiritual experience. Expect to receive some sort of revelation or epiphany that will shake you to the core. You may change daily practices, places of worship, or even your entire religion.
But be aware that this will be a very new experience for you. It will be exciting, but you’ll probably fumble and be a little frustrated because of its newness. That makes sense since you can never achieve a full spiritual experience until the end of your life. Recognize that spirituality is already a process and enjoy the revelations when they occur – even if they change everything about your life going forward!

Pile 2: Wolf
Ancestors and Past Lives
I see that the first card in your spread is Star Keeper with the wisdom message of “Cosmic ancestor. Seed the light by staying grounded.” My first impression of this card was ancestor worship or recognizing your Starseed identity.
You may find it beneficial to look into the religious practices of your ancestors. This could be a religion that they converted to recently, but it could also be a more ancient pagan religion too.
This is because I think you’re going to find a spirit guide in one of your ancestors. You’ll be deeply connected to them and find a lot of comfort in their guidance.
That said, some of you may find out you’re a Starseed: these are individuals who were born on another planet in a previous life. Even though that identity is alien to this one, you were reborn on Earth for a reason. If you’re a Starseed, investigating which one you could be will help reveal some part of your soul mission on Earth.
Whichever one is you, it will initiate a new peak spiritual experience for you.
Prepare for Disappointment
Your next card is the Five of Cups. This is a card of loss and not realizing what you have. I do think that part of your peak spiritual experience will be disappointing to you. Perhaps you learn something you don’t like or a cherished spiritual practice no longer makes sense to you. Almost certainly some of you will want to be one Starseed but find out you’re another kind instead. Because of that, you’re going to have a hard time moving on at first.
Sometimes a spiritual awakening is clarifying, but a little brutal. This is because we get so wrapped up in ourselves and our material experience that we can’t fully see the potential of our spiritual connections.
Even though you may be disappointed at first, this card also promises that there’s something good about to appear. In this case, you may have another spiritual epiphany shortly afterward. Spirituality is a process, and you’re really going to feel that.
Being You in the World
The final card in your spread is The World. I think this is an affirming and positive card as the last one. It’s about completion and fullness, as well as alignment with the world around you.
For those who end up connecting with an ancestral spirit, you’ll feel more connected to the environment or your homeland. It may also push you to travel to other places to feel that connection in person or in different environmental contexts.
As for the Starseeds among you, you’ll be able to integrate your soul mission as a Starseed with your place in the world. At times you may feel a little naked and vulnerable, many Starseeds often feel like aliens, but you’ll feel glorified by this mission instead of weakened. Perhaps for the first time in your life, you’ll truly feel your full identity and be comfortable in that person.

Pile 3: Goat
Flow At Your Own Speed
Your first card is You’re Not for Everyone with the wisdom message of “Embrace your weirdness. Face your true north.” There’s something about you that is unique or different from most people. Chances are you struggled with this feeling when you were younger and didn’t know how to reconcile that.
Spirituality is a good way to feel unity when you can’t find it elsewhere. However, for you a peak spiritual experience is likely to come only when you’re being yourself. More than the other piles, your peak spiritual experience is an action you can activate.
There’s a good chance that you’re creative or have a niche interest. When you pursue that, you connect to a higher power and experience flow instead of resistance.
In addition, many of you will find learning your North Node in astrology particularly useful. This is the direction of your karmic growth and is related to your soul purpose in life. Once you know what yours is, there are a lot of resources online that can explain it even more. Try googling the North Node in your sign or house.
Find Your Partners
Although there’s an independence to your spread, there’s not isolation. Your second card, Two of Cups, promises union with at least one other person. This may be romantic, such as a soul mate or a twin flame, but I like to read it here as someone who shares your creative or niche interest.
You’re going to feel most at ease when you can share your personal peak spiritual experiences with others or do so in communion. I think the fact you feel so different from other people means that when you do find people who are like you, spending spiritual time together is way more meaningful.
Don’t be afraid to reach out to others who share your interests or join a close-knit spiritual community. This can be in person, but it can also be online.
Make sure to hype these people up too. The more excited you are for them, the more excited they are for you. Together, you’ll be each other’s creative audiences or spiritual companions. You’ll like bouncing off ideas with them.
A Need to Express Yourself
The third card in your spread is The Sun. This is a card of warmth and personal expression. It also makes me think of the first card when the person is standing before the majesty of a planet.
You need to express yourself. If you feel like you’re being censored or that you can’t be yourself, you’ll never be able to truly enjoy your peak spiritual experience. That’s because there’s some element of channeling involved. You’ll either transfer some of that spiritual energy into your creativity or into social relationships you have with others.
That’s why I think you must find a creative or spiritual tribe. People who are outside of it may not understand or even be aggressive with your personal expressions. That doesn’t mean kicking people who aren’t part of this close-knit group, but that you need some social outlet in your life. You weren’t meant to be alone.
