Your Past Life — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic tarot reading on one of your past lives and how that life has affected you in this one.
To receive your message from the universe, pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Fin de Siècle Kipper deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s look into your past life.
Pile 1: Woman

The Origin of Your Turmoil
Your past life featured an Expectation that was not met, but I’m not sensing any intense trauma in this past life. That said, there’s longing and I think that emotional turmoil affected your soul on a deep level.
The first card, Journey, was a loved one, perhaps a romantic interest, who had to depart from you. For some, this journey would’ve been that loved one going on a work trip or off to war. The expectation is that they would come home – and they didn’t.
Others who chose this pile may have had that loved one journey and you were supposed to follow. A good example in history would’ve been a family member immigrating and preparing the way for you to follow.
I’m certain some in this pile had one of two specific past lives: the first being engaged to marry a soldier or businessman who went overseas and never returned, likely due to death. The second is a pioneer in the American West who set out for the frontier, but something happened to them along the way. So if that resonates, this is a confirmation from the universe on the specificity of the time period of your past life.
What Happened Next
Your past self eventually received news or was forced to Change your plans. I do think you were economically connected to this lost loved one, so not being able to be reunited with them changed your future considerably.
If this was a loved one and you did not have children, there’s a good chance you would’ve been forced into a marriage with someone else. If you were a woman, then being widowed with children would’ve led to being dependent on other family members or living in poverty. If you were a man, then being a widower likely resulted in you marrying again, but not for love.
I do think that your economic situation at the time of your loss resulted in you moving away or having materially changed circumstances. This is what would’ve led to a new marriage for some who chose this pile, but I think others might’ve faced poverty or financial dependence on others.
When Optimism Poisons
The final card in your spread, Expectation, tells me your past life always had hope that your loved one would return. I believe that it was fairly certain they had died or abandoned you, but it was more like a body not recovered or them disappearing.
This led to you hoping that this loved one would make a surprise return and it lasted the rest of your life.
I do think despite the sadness in your spread that there wasn’t much trauma beyond that, meaning this event in that life stood out as being your great misery. So even if you remarried, your partner wasn’t awful, and if you were impoverished or dependent on others, all your needs were still met and you had happiness in other areas.
However, the intense longing you experienced left a lasting mark on your soul and I believe you carried that into this life. Whenever something happens and there isn’t conclusive evidence or there’s an opening for hope, you tend to linger on the optimism.
But this can poison you into toxic positivity and prevent you from moving on and enjoying other positive experiences.
If you haven’t already conquered this karmic effect, I recommend being very aware when optimism traps you instead of frees you. Your life should have momentum and not be stuck in place.

Pile 2: Frog

Struggling in Bed
I believe your past life was plagued with poor health and you weren’t able to enjoy it to its fullest. The Bad Health card, in context with the rest of the spread, suggests you may have been financially comfortable and afforded the privilege of a nurse or family member who could tend to your needs.
This almost certainly extended your life far beyond what would’ve been normal for your condition at the time, but you may have been frustrated by the sloth of it all.
If your past life was a woman, you may have had few or no children. You may have also felt as if you lacked control over your household because others treated you like a complete invalid.
Depending on the time period, and I’m getting the sense you were at least middle-class in the early modern period and beyond, maybe a tradesperson in earlier periods, this could have created an inheritance crisis for any daughters you may have had because any property likely would’ve been passed on to extended relatives.
Things Falling Apart
I can’t say for certain, but there’s a possibility there may have been a strain on your Marriage. It’s clear to me this past life did get married, so there’s a good chance that you didn’t fall sick until after the wedding. Perhaps an incident during pregnancy or childbirth led to the problem.
Not everyone who chose this pile would’ve been incarnated as a woman, however. For those who had incarnated as a man you likely would’ve found marriage very beneficial to you, but the need to work to provide for your family alongside your bad health would’ve led to a poor marriage.
In general, I’m sensing that your expectation for material comforts put a pressure whether you were a man or woman that led to little time for your spouse. But I do think it’s possible due to your class you may have initially been in love with each other.
I can’t say for certain if there was infidelity in actuality, but one or both of you considered it because of the alienation of affection due to your circumstances.
If you had a wife, she may have wanted to cheat just to secure the inheritance for any other living daughters. If you had a husband, he may have felt entitled to romantic attention that he felt he couldn’t get because you were bedridden.
How You’re Affected
The interesting thing about your spread is that the husband in the marriage was an Official Person. That means he would’ve had some sort of local position of authority and people would’ve expected a sense of gentility your family felt pressured to match.
No doubt this would’ve led to intense secret-keeping. Perhaps your illness was kept hidden, the fallout of your marriage, or even an illicit affair.
This would’ve been exhausting and the entire event would’ve been what left a karmic echo on your soul rather than the bad health itself. You may feel in this life that it’s difficult to trust loved ones unless you’re perfect.
Secrets trigger you, even ridiculous small ones like a partner buying a small item outside the budget. I also think you may be triggered by jealousy either in you or your partner and be hesitant to trust someone too interested in erotic materials.
You may also feel like you need to keep up appearances.
If this is something you haven’t yet conquered in yourself, just be aware that some of your paranoia is unfounded. Never entertain something for more than a week unless you uncover evidence that warrants more investigation.

Pile 3: Butterflies

The Toxicity of Wealth
I took a break for a few days before getting to the third pile. To my surprise, I had titled it “Pile 1: Capitalist” instead of “Pile 1: Butterflies.” I have no idea why I would make this typo, but it’s relevant to the spread and I feel this is the universe speaking to me on how to interpret this pile.
Your spread is a clear indication of massive wealth. Due to the typo, my guess is that your past life occurred in the late modern era (1800 to 1945) which was a time of industrialization and capitalism. If your past life was outside of America or Western Europe, then you may have lived at a slightly later date.
The first card, False Person, has two masked figures. I believe you belonged to or were connected to an industrial family. However, the motivations of your circle weren’t benevolent or constructive. Instead of focusing on building the business or helping others, your circle cared more about their elite status. So no real interest in making money – it was about spending it.
This led to you being involved in a toxic relationship. You were either a false person yourself or you were thrown to the wolves in that circle.
Having It All
You were very wealthy given the Great Fortune card. Now your spread could indicate that your family was new wealth and earned it from business, but your spread also suggests the possibility you were old wealth that collided with industrial new wealth socially.
The immense wealth you enjoyed may have made you or your circle blind to the conditions of the people around you. Those of old wealth had farms, and while life was healthier on the farm, their servants and country commoners had more of a subsistence living.
The poor in the city had discretionary income and flexibility of employment, but this came at the cost of dangerous working conditions which was even more acute in child labor.
The reason why all of this is important to know now is that the initial disconnect you had from reality did crash into you with the third card.
Class Guilt and Consciousness
Your third card is Despair and I think you either lost your fortune or had an awakening to the suffering of the common people. Some industrialists and old wealth families were philanthropists and it’s possible you became one too out of guilt for being blind to suffering previously.
There’s the chance, though, that if you lost your fortune you joined the poorer classes. If you were an industrialist and lost your wealth, you may have been forced to work a managerial position in poor working conditions or your family member did. Living in the city as the poor or working class could be a very bleak experience.
Those who belonged to new wealth may have lost their estates due to the changing economies or poor investments, leading to impoverished gentility.
I do think you may have tried to keep up appearances as best as you could and I think you did this because, ultimately, you lived in a time and place where class separated people from each other.
I think your soul has memories of this and you have complex feelings towards money and social position in society today. A contemporary example of this I often see would be a college graduate who only ever hangs around college graduates seeing blue-collar workers as stupid and less deserving of high wages than someone who went to university.
The good news is that you deprogrammed most of this thinking in your past life and you’ve either conquered this already at the time of this reading (and your spread just explains a past experience in your current life) or you’re about to.
You had a heart that longed for compassion and I think that’s what has awakened in this life.
Let me know in the comments by dropping a 💰 emoji or mentioning “money bag” if this reading resonated with you. You’re now healing any past life wounds around money and class. Was there a time in the past few years when you felt intense emotions about money? How did you deal with it?

Hi, I do feel a sense of being connected to everything you’ve said, the only thing is, is that yes I do have emotions intense ones at that abput money right now, and I feel like I’m not going to ever make enough. Im afraid of the future in terms of money. And I feel like I’m not. Going to be able to do it or make it. It scares me intensively. Is there any other reading You might be ale to help me with?
I have a lot of career (money is often included in this category) and personal development readings that might fit the bill! Look on the readings tab at the top of the page. You can also try searching for “money” or “abundance” in the search bar. 🙂
