Your Connection to Nature — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! I have a psychic tarot reading today on your connection to nature. What’s special about it, and why is it important for you to know right now?
To receive your message from the universe, pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve used the Oracle of the Fairies deck. The pile images come from a Refustar sticker pack. These are affiliate links, and they help support me if you choose to make a purchase.
Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s see what your connection to nature is.
Pile 1: Glass Portal

Trust the Word
To best understand your connection to nature, you need to confront your philosophy about it. The first card in your spread, Look in a Book, has the wisdom message of “Whatever your question right now, you’ll find the answer in a book. The words you find will bring the insight you seek.”
This is a clear sign that some sort of nature writing is absolutely necessary for you to understand your connection. That’s because you need a verbal description of it to give words to what you already feel.
Nature writing comes in many forms. Travelogues are what most often comes to mind, but a book on nature poetry or a non-fiction treatise on the topic also work. Try going into a library, bookstore, or browse online to see which book seems to draw you in the most. Maybe it’ll be an art book. Maybe it’ll be a fiction book. Your intuition will guide you to the right place.
Once you find it, write down or highlight the lines and passages that really speak to you.
Be Present
Once you have your words in mind, it’s time to go out into nature. The second card, Fairy Spotting, has the wisdom message of “It’s time to go fairy spotting! It’s said that ‘seeing is believing’ but in fact the opposite is true: believing is seeing.”
When I was a child and in college, I took quite a few art classes and studied drawing. I didn’t realize the power of these lessons until I also took science classes. I hate science class – the idea of dissecting owl pellets or even entire creatures was just never something I could stomach.
But I noticed even these unpleasant tasks were more sensorial after my art instruction. That’s because I was able to see and appreciate the fine details of the world around me.
That’s what reading will do for you. It’ll teach you how to see your connection to nature in a fine-tuned way. So when you go out into nature, write down your observations and meditate on them. You’ll start to notice a more spiritual connection and experiences taking place.
Your Personal Revelation
What I find most interesting about your spread is the promise of the third card: Hidden Depths. It has the wisdom message of “Something hidden is about to come to light – perhaps a secret or memory at the back of your mind. When we expose what’s hidden, we can become free.”
Your connection to nature will reveal something you suppressed so deeply that even reading about it won’t unearth it. Sometimes people who go to therapists can’t even access what’s been suppressed until they experience a trigger in their normal lives. But being with the Earth will make whatever yours is tangible so you can digest that memory and let it go.
It may take more than one session, but it will come.
In college, I took a class on the biology of seabirds and sea mammals. We got to go whale watching on the open ocean. But as soon as we pulled away from the shore, I realized I found being untethered to solid ground terrifying. This revealed a general uneasiness of uncertainty as the sea represents chaos. I don’t like surprises. Until that moment, I didn’t understand how terrified I was by uncertainty.
Your revelation may be something like that, but personalized to you. Once you know what it is, you can confront that in a manner that fits your personal growth.

Pile 2: Colored Feathers

Enjoying the Outdoors
You have a spread that I envy. The first card, Celebration, has the wisdom message of “Get ready to let your hair down and celebrate! It’s time to go out to dance and play – an invitation could be on the way.”
This deck is a fairy deck and in this reading it represents the consciousness of nature. If you go out and enjoy being present with nature, you’ll be called to a spiritual experience. The way that would likely take shape would be something like this: you go for a walk and are drawn to sit under a specific tree. Then you receive a powerful intuitive download.
Or you go for a hike and witness a stunning natural wonder. Awe of the natural world does trigger spiritual experiences according to research.
The particular experience is likely unique for everyone who chose this pile, but the universe wants you to be ready for it. I think it will change your life somehow without being a major effort on your part – it’s play after all.
What You See Is What You Get
Part of your experience is accepting the invitation and showing up as your best self. The second card, Shine from Within, has the wisdom message of “Looks are only skin-deep – true beauty shines from within, and it’s time for you to shine! This is a time for self-acceptance and for revealing your true beauty.”
What this means is that you should go into nature in the way that feels most natural. For some, that means dressing up, for others, that means dressing down. And others can’t be defined in either way because they’re so unique.
The point should be that when you look in the mirror, you feel that what you see represents who you are on the inside.
When you go into nature, you’ll often see beautiful sights. But these beauties reflect the natural state of what you’re looking at. A mountain is a mountain, not a tree pretending to be a mountain so it looks taller.
Your connection to nature is about developing honesty and directness. You’ll likely receive intuitive messages or experiences that aren’t metaphorical, but are instead rather literal.
Be Receptive
Nature is bountiful. The final card is Abundance with the wisdom message of “Prepare yourself for incoming abundance! Release any mental blocks you may have; in Fairyland and human land there is enough abundance for everyone.” This is about your connection to nature helping you to manifest.
This connection may be logical – the poet who divines inspiration from natural beauty. Or it may be inspirational in another way: your time in nature helps you decompress so you can manifest elsewhere in life.
However, nature has a lot to give to you if you’re willing to accept it, and it should be integrated into your manifestation practice. Don’t overthink this though. It’s about saturating that abundance in whatever way you prefer communing with nature.
Maybe you like running, maybe you do a spell, or perhaps you enjoy occasional hikes throughout the year.
It will give to you if you let it.

Pile 3: Magic Key

Feel the Sun on Your Skin
Well. Your spread is pretty clear that your connection to nature needs to be under a luminary, probably the Sun, but perhaps the Moon when it’s full too.
The first card, Life Energy, has the wisdom message of “The happy Fairy of Sunshine brings lots of life-giving energy. She reminds you to shine your light and to reveal anything in the shadows that needs to be healed.”
On Earth, the Sun is very important to the growth of plants and other living creatures on the surface. So being in the presence of light, especially the Sun, will energize and fuel you.
This is obviously true biologically, but I think it represents a spiritual connection as well. Some part of you feels connected to the celestial realm. Yes, nature is Earth, but Earth is a celestial body, and you’re connected to other celestial bodies too. Being under the Sun (or Moon) will strengthen that connection.
Some people charge crystals and other spiritual tools under the moonlight. Your spiritual connection is also charged under luminaries like the Sun and Moon.
You may find that astrology is more potent in your life than others. It can take some time to learn astrology appropriately, so if you don’t have the patience to do so, it may be a good idea either to get a professional reading now and again or follow an astrologer online you trust.
Uncovering Mysteries
I do get the sense from your spread that shadow work is important. The second card, Flourish, has the wisdom message of “The Lotus Flower Fairy tells you to learn from experience and shed your inner light on any unclear areas of your life, or those of others.” There’s a saying that sunshine is the best disinfectant, but that’s not just a cleaning hack – it’s a symbolic truth.
Your connection to nature, especially to the Sun or Moon, is revelatory. Perhaps that’s why astrology is so potent a path to explore. Astrology can reveal the future, but it can also give insight into the past and the psyche. Similar to shadow work.
Shadow work is where you introspect and confront the things you’re repressing. In essence, you’re bringing what’s hidden to light.
I think you may also feel a mysterious pull to natural mysteries and wonders. Think of those strange spots on Earth where it seems like physics breaks down or where people feel potent energy, like Sedona. This interest in such things represents your desire to know what’s hidden from you.
That means you’ll be an excellent coach, or even just a friend who provides good advice. You see what others don’t.
Becoming the Lightworker
Imagine two rooms. The first is a room entirely in light. How do you create darkness? By obscuring something with an object. The second is a room entirely in darkness. When a match is lit, everything in darkness is drawn to it. But the light can’t be overcome.
The final card in your spread, Light, has the wisdom message of “The Fairy Queen of Light comes to shed love and light onto your current situation, and to remind you that light can penetrate the darkness.” Going back to our two rooms, in both cases, it seems as if light somehow dominates and the darkness is small.
Your connection to nature, and particularly the luminaries, indicates you have immense spiritual and/or psychological power. You are almost certainly a lightworker or something close to it. That means you can bring a lot of good to the world.
This is a light that you can use to help others, yes, but don’t forget you can turn that power back onto yourself as well. When you hold a candle in the darkness, it’s always brightest near the torchbearer.
