Work Your Higher Purpose: Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic reading on working your higher purpose. This will help manifest meaning into your life.
All you have to do is pick the pile that sticks out to you the most. Which animal inspires your intuition? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Here I’m using the Starseed Oracle deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to work your higher purpose.
Pile 1: Cow
Choosing Materialism Over Legacy
Before you can work your higher purpose, it seems like you need to detach from materialism and unite with your soul on a higher level. The first card in your spread, Loosen Your Grip, has the wisdom message of “Coping mechanisms. Density. Addiction. Let God In.”
Everyone fixates on the world sometimes, but it seems like your fixation is lasting and harmful. This is causing you to live only as a material being and not a being with a soul.
This often happens when a person has no connection to spirituality or is in the grip of some sort of addiction. They want more of a material substance, such as money, drugs, or recognition in the material world like fame.
The problem with a fixation like this is that you’re a mortal being. You can’t take what you gain in this life with you when you’re gone. You’re supposed to leave it all behind and transition into your next soul mission.
So if what you leave behind is only for you, this selfishness will hurt your soul. Both in the present and in the future when you pass on.
Life is a Lesson
I think people neglect the mortal part of the equation when they seek out spirituality. Your life on Earth is significant and has a purpose. Spirituality doesn’t rescue you from the material world: it helps complete your whole experience.
The second card, Earthed, has the wisdom message of “Learning how to be human. In the world, but not of it.” What does this mean? You’re a multifaceted being and only one part of your experience is earthbound.
If you assume that you only exist here in this time and place, then you can’t adequately incorporate your earth school lessons on a soul level. You’ll lack the holistic understanding of existence that will give you meaning and help you understand and enact your higher purpose.
Think of life like a test you’re soul was prepared to take before it was born. There are some challenging questions and you may not get everything right, but your soul is confident it will succeed. However, if you don’t take the test you won’t be graded. And that grade will be used for something beyond the scope of yourself.
It’s Already Happening
I see that your final card is Baby Steps with the wisdom message of “Action. Follow your intuition before it makes sense.” Even now, when you’re fixated on something in the material world, your intuition is at work.
Something you’re doing now or are interested in is a reflection of your higher purpose. Someone who is fixated on fame might find they have an unusual interest in biology, indicating their draw is calling them in that direction. Someone focused on money may not realize they’re doing what they were meant to do, but if they focus on a better why their current actions will be positively transformed.
Don’t try to map out your entire future. Instead, think about what you’re doing right now which seems to be healthy and hopeful. Lean into that more because you’ll slowly ease yourself more fully into your higher purpose.

Creating Beauty
Your spread is somewhat unusual as I pulled two cards I rarely do for this deck – and I use this deck a lot. That tells me right away that there’s something special about working your higher purpose.
The first card, Your Life is a Canvas, has the wisdom message of “Artist. Manifestation. Creative accountability.” It’s exactly as it sounds: you’re meant to be artful in the way you work your higher purpose.
For some who chose this pile, they know exactly what this means, but what if you’re in a less traditional career for that? For example, a psychologist could use art therapy with their patients and a mechanic could take pride in the aesthetic appearance of the cars they service.
Perhaps you now know you need to transition to a different career or pick up a hobby.
You can manifest beauty into the world and this is a responsibility not to be taken lightly. Humans need beauty to feel like life is worth living. Your art will make life worth living.
Focus on You
Your next card is Lifting the Veil with the wisdom message of “Questioning everything. Anything unaligned must go.” Now I want to make a point with this card: anything unaligned that takes a significant portion of your attention must go.
It’s okay to have unrelated hobbies and responsibilities. But if something is taking a lot of time in your life that’s not related to your art in some way, then you need to change it. A podcaster, for example, may want to eventually hire someone to manage ads and marketing while they focus on the content itself.
You have a special skill and if that skill is compromised by the need to do other things that could be done by other people… you need to make a change.
That’s because everyone is meant to do something in life. It may be difficult for you to believe, but there are people out there who enjoy cleaning or find it fulfilling to help others clean their homes.
You’re a specialist and it’s time to honor that. Make space for other specialists to take on what you don’t have to.
Closing Your Chapter
I think some of your art is inspired by the ancients. The last card in your spread, Star Ancestors, has the wisdom message of “Hidden secrets. Lost wisdom. Look a little deeper.” Part of working your higher purpose is to use your creativity to achieve something.
And that achievement seems to be to uncover something humanity lost. A poet might try to get at the heart of the human condition while an architect tries to honor ancient architecture in new builds.
Your interests in ancient civilizations, foreign cultures, and the mysteries of the universe can be informative here. Find your special interest in one of these areas and see what your research into these inspires in your creativity.
I think some in this pile may also feel a strange connection to the past, indicating a past life where they were part of that culture or were even an artist in that culture. Your need to work your higher purpose with a creative bent could be the result of that connection as you have unfinished business.

Pile 3: Whale
Your Struggle Matters
Right now, it seems like working your higher purpose is solving the problems at hand. The first card, Inner Earth, has the wisdom message of “You’ll survive this. New solutions and beginnings.” What you’re going through right now is not unrelated to your higher purpose.
For some of you, this is obvious, but for others, the connection is more subtle. But to help you understand this consider how the critical thinking one learns in school helps them solve new problems in adulthood.
A silly personal example: I took calligraphy in high school and was able to use those skills to send out graduation invitations to family. This resulted in a lot of pocket cash I know I wouldn’t have otherwise received. My cards were quite impressive. Not many teenagers break out the fountain pen and parchment paper to send letters to their families!
I see something similar happening to you right now: you’re solving a problem or learning a skill that will help you work your higher purpose. Don’t flee from confrontation right now. It has meaning.
Let Things Happen Naturally
What you learn from that struggle is going to cause you to ponder life. The second card in your spread, Wait, has the wisdom message of “It’s not yet time. Things are being woven.” What you’re dealing with may not have an immediately relevant reward for your higher purpose.
That’s okay. Solving your current problem is an investment in your future. There’s usually a critical mass one must reach before they cross a threshold, and I think that’s true for you. Keep pace with your current life and let the future reveal itself naturally to you.
I think that’s because you’ll be receiving an opportunity that you would otherwise miss if you tried to make everything “immediately worth” it. Think of the person who takes French in college and decides they must move to Paris to make their past efforts worthwhile, but if they stayed home, they could’ve had a more fulfilling career as a high school teacher.
To prove this, look at your past and find at least one thing you did that proved to be rewarding later in life. Once you have this proof, let yourself feel confident that you can pursue things of interest or solve current problems without everything you end up doing trying to fit a narrow, immediate purpose.
Be Open to New Things
I see a lot of possibilities in your life and for how you can work your higher purpose. The final card, The Seas of Mintaka, has the wisdom message of “Seeing potential. Bringing unconsciousness to light.” You’re going to match with the free wills of others in a beautiful brilliance.
What I mean is that you’re stocking your toolbox of useful skills that you’ll be able to pull from as you encounter life around you. People are making decisions that constantly expand what’s possible, meaning there are things in existence five years from now that don’t exist in the present.
You may be having a career or life change a few years from now that you could’ve never predicted or planned for – but you’re going to be ready to handle it. Be open to those exciting opportunities even if it isn’t part of the plan. You can rewrite your future if it lets you work your higher purpose.
