What Your Spirit Guides Want to Say: Tarot Pick a Card
Sometimes your spirit guides have something important to say, but you keep missing their signs. With this tarot pick a card, you can finally hear what they’ve been trying to tell you.
It’s easy: all you have to do is select one of the piles above that sticks out to you the most. That’s your spirit guides speaking through your intuition and that’s your tarot reading.
After you select your cards, choose below or scroll down to your pile.
In this reading, I’m using the Everyday Tarot and the Moonology oracle deck.
We’ll be asking three questions today: what you’re not seeing, why you’re not seeing it, and how to handle it.
Are you ready?
Now let’s get to your spirit guide tarot reading!
Pile 1
You’ve been too focused on external influences lately, and that’s causing you to lose the best parts of who you are. This is making your spirit guides sad because they want what’s best for you.
Let’s figure out why you’re not living your ideal life.
What You’re Not Seeing
I bet you don’t realize how ambitious you truly are. You’re driven to succeed and achieve in this lifetime. This is a gift that not everyone has, and your spirit guides wish you understood this better than you currently do.
With this go-getter attitude is a sense of recklessness. I don’t want you to think that ambition and recklessness automatically means a daredevil who risks their life. An ambitious personality who throws caution into the wind might be a traditional rebel, but the Knight of Swords is the suit of air, suggesting a more communicative and intellectual energy.
See how the knight rides on the back of a white horse like a celestial gladiator? You fixate on more subtle challenges and have the confidence to face them.
Or rather, you could, but this is the part of yourself you don’t currently recognize. And isn’t that a shame? Imagine what you would do if you truly embraced this aspect of your personality!
Why You’re Not Seeing It
Here I picked the card Two of Cups, Reversed. This is from the suit of water, representing emotions, and you’ll notice that two people are sharing a toast. For this reading, I believe it’s referring to your relationship with your spirit guides.
But you’ve broken this connection. Instead of feeling intimately tied at the spiritual level, you are now at odds when it comes to your destiny.
Understand that your spirit guides want to help you. For that to happen, you need to recognize their connection and their ability to co-create your destiny with you.
Perhaps the reason this rift has occurred between you and your spirit guides is that the external issues and influences you face in the material world have caused you to doubt the good of the spiritual. This is a normal temptation many experience, because spiritual growth, while meaningful, is not quick and easy.
You may have perceived these learning experiences as obstacles put in your way by your spirit guides, so you don’t trust their good intentions for your future. But this isn’t the truth. What’s quick and easy, like the material gains of this world, don’t lead to lasting change at the soul level.
And that’s where the true power of your ambition lies: you can grab hold of your destiny with absolute soul abundance.
How to Handle It
You’ve rejected who you really are at the soul level, and this has hurt you. Not only are you distant from your spirit guides, but you’re also breaking away from the good parts of your destiny that are helping you grow in this life so you can better enter the next.
According to Full Moon in Virgo, what you need to do is accept who you are, including your spirit guides, so you can understand that all the gains of the material world are just shallow things. Yes, they can and should be enjoyed, but they’re also temporary. And so is any pain you experience from the trials of your journey. If you understand that who you are now is meaningful, you’ll be able to better listen to your spirit guides and continue in your spiritual growth.
Pile 2
I sense that you’ve been busy lately and are probably overwhelmed. And your spirit guides need for you to stop, but you aren’t listening to their advice.
Time to clear up the confusion.
What You’re Not Seeing
You’ve worked very hard to create something worthwhile. It’s an admirable part of your personality, but you’ve planted so many seeds and put so much work in that you no longer remember what seeds you planted exactly and what you’re waiting to grow.
That’s not surprising. The Seven of Pentacles is a card of planting and then waiting. Under normal circumstances, this card comes as a reminder to persevere because something good is on the horizon. However, in your spread, I sense that you’re already doing this…
And have completely forgotten that sometimes, you just need to wait. The irony is that not paying attention to your hard work isn’t the same as waiting. Instead, you’ve forgotten or ignored everything you’ve done in the past.
Perhaps you were directed to other shiny paths, especially if they have more immediate results. However, those paths don’t have a garden you planted that is about to flower. In other words, you’re about to miss out on something you’ve worked really hard on.
Your spirit guides want you to have what it is you worked so hard for, even if you’ve walked away from it because it took so long to manifest. I sense you’ve done this before, but now is the time to stop putting in the work and not staying around to see what grows. You don’t have faith in yourself.
Why You’re Not Seeing It
The Four of Swords is a card of rest, but in some readings, it can be more perilous than that. Do you see how three of the swords are pointing down at the resting figure? After working hard, you wanted to sit back and relax, but the distractions of the world have caused you to forget about what you’ve done. You can’t rest easy and have faith that what you worked on will manifest.
See how one sword lays beneath the figure? Think of that like your garden which you planted – entombed. Unlike the three swords, it isn’t a threatening force, but it’s easy to forget about.
You’re also presented with a “way out” in this card, which I interpret as the path you’ve taken instead. It seems easier to go that way and avoid your present dangers and trials, even if it means leaving behind all your hard work.
How to Handle It
Your last card, Full Moon in Gemini, is an excellent card to pull when it comes to a spirit guide reading because of its dual, communicative nature.
I sense that your spirit guides are about to come with a direct and inspiring message about the hard work you’ve done with news of what is to be manifested. But more than just news, this revelation is something you need to hear: all the distractions you’ve faced are more damaging than you realized.
You’re on the wrong path.
What you need to do to receive this message is to step back and wait for the divine revelation your spirit guides are planning to send your way. It might be in the form of angel numbers, dreams, or even a karmic event, but it will promise positive change in your life.
And it can only happen if you trust in the hard work you’ve done. What you need to do is not make any sudden and life-changing decisions that don’t fill you with joy and purpose in the near future. Instead, wait and allow your intuition (and your spirit guides) to make their revelation. It will be worth it.
Pile 3
What I’m seeing in your cards that your spirit guides want you to know is a preoccupation with materialism. This may come as a shock to you because you’re not trying to be a materialist, you’re just trying to be responsible, but your focus is not healthy.
Let’s find out why.
What You’re Not Seeing
The Knight of Pentacles is a card most people don’t want to pull because it’s “boring” and the workhorse of the tarot. This is a figure who works hard and toils on something as an investment. He plans ahead and is very meticulous.
However, it’s a trait that everyone needs some of the time, so you might be surprised to learn this trait isn’t serving you well. After all, aren’t you supposed to act like this? But one of the problems with this card is that it sometimes causes a person to fixate on material needs over all else.
Basically, you’re looking at the forest for the trees instead of seeing the whole forest.
Your spirit guides see that focus as unhealthy because you’re planning your entire life around material concerns. Where is the time for relationships, leisure, and spirituality?
There isn’t.
Why You’re Not Seeing It
Continuing with the materialistic preoccupation, the King of Pentacles, Reversed is a card the suggests your relationships are suffering. Imagine a greedy king who cares only for the gold in his treasury instead of his people, and you can imagine where you might have gone wrong.
Your spirit guides want you to know you should care about money and you should exhibit the traits of the Knight of Pentacles, however, money should be used as a tool to help you live the abundant life you always wanted.
What’s the point of saving up to buy a large house if you live in it alone? Why bother working a lot of hours if it means never seeing your family or having time to yourself?
You’ve created goals centered around material milestones. That’s no way to live.
How to Handle It
Your spirit guides want you to disconnect from your financial and materialistic planning and tap into the energy of Pisces. The New Moon in Pisces is about beginning a spiritual project and initiating spiritual intentions. It’s also about allowing yourself to dream.
See how that’s different from the Knight of Pentacles? You need a balance to live happily.
One of the best ways to do this is to practice mindfulness. Most like meditation and prayer because you can let the material world fall away and focus only on spiritual energy. But if you’re like me, and you have a lot of Knight of Pentacles energy anyway, you may find that guided meditations, visualizations, and journaling is a better fit.
Whatever you do, the goal is for your soul to connect to spirit instead of the material world. This can be a disorienting experience for you, so seek out your spirit guides, even if you don’t know them by name, as you go about your mindfulness practice.
Their presence will comfort you and likely empower your intuition to inspire you to make more spiritual instead of material choices. But don’t sacrifice the good of the Knight of Pentacles in this endeavor. Create spiritual goals and then lay a reasonable foundation using that stable energy to make them more likely to manifest.
