The Spirit Realm Needs You to Know This: Tarot Pick a Card
Not every message from the universe comes pre-packaged into a neat topic. This tarot pick a card has three wildcard messages on a variety of topics to help you manifest your best life.
All you need to do is select one of the piles of cards above that sticks out to you the most. Some of you may even resonate with more than one.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Here I’m using the Rider-Waite tarot and the Angels and Ancestors oracle decks (these are affiliate links that help support me if you make a purchase). Remember you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s see what message the spirit realm has for you.
Pile 1: Purple Wing
Starting Something New
Your first card is the Page of Pentacles. I sense that you’re about to start a new venture, which could be a new job or business, but it could also be a new personal project such as a hobby. You’ll be very excited and enthusiastic about it.
What the spirit realm needs you to know about this is that, while this project is in its early stages, there’s a lot of potential here. Just like the page is holding the coin in his hands, you’re going to have full control over your situation.
Just be aware that you aren’t going into this project with advanced skill or finesse. You’re going to make some mistakes along the way, so do your best not to get discouraged. Something wonderful is on the other side of it.
Afraid of Progress Over Perfect
The second card is The Empress. Here I sense two meanings and one or both could apply to you.
For some, this new project of yours has been inside your mind and heart for some time. You’ve nurtured your desire to pursue it, but you’ve always held back because you didn’t feel like you were ready.
Be aware that this fear is likely to remain as you start your project and make you a bit perfectionistic. That’s not really a good thing, but it will incentivize you to make the most of your project.
The next meaning is that you’re going to start this project and feel like you need to take a step back and let it percolate again. You’ll feel like it’s not ready to see the light of day and mature. While caution is good in this instance, remember to not let your fears of perfection ruin your chance of manifestation.
Let Your Manifestations Live
The final card in your spread is the Magick Guardian card with the wisdom message of “Unlock the magick within.” This is a direct message to your desire for perfectionism and why you shouldn’t let it become toxic.
See how the woman here is holding a flame in her hand? Fire is always something that is on the edge of chaos, and while she’s in control of it now, once she lets it go, it will burn however it wants to.
The spirit realm needs you to realize that, once you start a project, you’re surrendering the final result to the universe. That’s because it’s going to interact with the world and other people. You can’t control this external chaos, so you need to be prepared to let your new venture or project live wildly out in the open.
This can be scary. Since there’s an element of creativity or personal interest here, you may end up putting a lot of your heart and soul into the process. Just remember that when it comes to manifesting something, you’re creating a reflection of yourself, but not something which is actually you. It will take on a life of its own and that’s beautiful in a way.
It’s a bit like somebody who has a job they really care about. Their job isn’t their identity, but they can step into that job and act like it’s one. That’s because the job has a life of its own.

Pile 2: Orange Wing
Your Life Is a Mess
Your first card is the Two of Pentacles, Reversed. The spirit realm wants you to know that you have too much going on in your life right now and you’re starting to drop some of the things you’re carrying.
Because this is a pentacles card, this is largely going to manifest in areas of finances and material goods. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of you have a house plant that’s dying too because you were too busy to water it.
Your life is starting to get disorganized and chaotic. While this can allow for some measure of creativity, this chaos has gotten so out of control that you’re starting to get overwhelmed. You’re losing hold of responsibilities, and everything is going to fall apart if you don’t get serious about it.
You Need to Make Some Changes
The second card here is the Four of Swords, Reversed. I don’t think you’re entirely unaware that things are amiss in your life. That’s because this card is the “wake up” card and you’re aware that you’re about to fall on your swords.
I also see a spiritual element to this card, so I sense the spirit realm is hoping you’ll see how the decisions you’ve made contributed to your current situation. Swords as a suit in the tarot can represent the mind and decisions, so be aware that “waking up” is a powerful first step to positively changing things.
Of course, another way this card can be interpreted, especially alongside the previous card, is burnout. Understand that you’re simply doing too much and you’re going to need to put something to the side for at least a little while. It may take you some time to figure out what this will be.
Your Commitments Are a Little Mysterious Right Now
The last card in your spread is Druid with the wisdom message of “Hold the space.” Even though you need to make some changes, the spirit realm wants you to be cautious in your adjustments.
This may be because something small that you’re doing or a project you’re no longer in love with is far more important than you realize. Like the man in the card with the overgrowth of nature, your environment may be too confusing to make a hasty decision on your priorities.
Allow yourself to ease into any changes so you can carefully decide what truly matters. And don’t abandon something so fully that you can’t pick it up later.
Perhaps for some of you, the need to get organized is the problem. Your method is what’s lacking, not your pursuits. Trying to hold your current commitments for as long as possible until you sort things by priority is absolutely necessary. Then you can work on how you can do things efficiently.

Pile 3: Pink Wing
Winning At All Costs
The first card in your spread is the Five of Swords. This is a card about winning at all costs. When I pulled this card, I got a strong sense that you were in the position of the “winner.” But this win comes at a moral cost the spirit realm thinks you’re not ready for.
Whether your intentions were good or not, you’ve made enemies along the way. Do you see how the two people are absolutely dejected in the background? Under the best scenario, these are real enemies who you’re able to push out of your life… but I think your struggle for victory may have left behind more victims than you realized.
Were you cold or not as caring to loved ones? In an attempt to manifest the life you want, you may have neglected or even hurt someone by accident. Now they’re going to start to think you don’t care about them.
You Aren’t a One-Person Army
Ironically, your second card, The Chariot, Reversed, does indicate you aren’t making a lot of progress. Even though you scored a huge personal victory, the rewards of that endeavor aren’t making themselves known in the way you expected.
One way to interpret this card is that the charioteer is returning home from war. But not every war is just or necessary, yet all are costly, so you may be “returning home” without a joyous welcome by those you left behind.
The spirit realm thinks you may struggle to win back support from those in your life. That’s because these people may fear you’ll do the exact same thing again.
Overcoming this tendency can be tricky. It means accepting the fact you can’t pursue all opportunities and must choose the moral instead of the abundant option. If you aren’t sure, check in with your loved ones and seriously consider their input before acting.
Stop Going to War
Your last card is Water Guardian with the wisdom message of “Connect with your emotions.” There’s such a strong sense of martial energy in your spread, and in such a negative way, that you need to read this final message as a healing one.
You’re too focused on what’s logical or materially beneficial instead of checking in with your heart. Use your emotions to guide your actions, but make sure your emotions aren’t existing in a vacuum. Allow yourself to feel what others are feeling so you can process that within your heart.
This will serve as a check on your worst impulses.
But this message isn’t entirely negative. The spirit realm needs you to realize that your ability to succeed is a gift. You can redirect all this martial energy for good and figure out a way to create abundance without creating victims in your wake.
Sometimes, people go to battle to save lives – not to personally benefit by conquering. Make sure your actions are on the moral side first.
