Ten Years From Now — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic tarot reading on where you’ll be ten years from now. This message from the universe is designed to check in on your current direction so you adjust your path according to your preferences.
Don’t see this reading as something you receive passively. Ten years is enough time to make changes to alter your destiny.
All you have to do is follow your intuition and pick the pile that sticks out to you the most.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Mystical Manga Tarot deck (this is an affiliated link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s see where your life is going ten years from now.
Pile 1: Book
Doing What’s Hard
You’re headed in a good direction, but there will be some bumps in the road. The first card, Four of Cups, indicates that you’ll be offered something and refuse it.
Most people interpret this card with a general meaning and attribute the emotional aspects of the cup suit to your emotional state when it comes to refusal. In your spread, that means I can’t pinpoint the type of offer you’re going to refuse.
My intuition is that your refusal is due to you looking at your other options which aren’t as readily available. So it’s likely during the next ten years you’ll reject what’s easy and aim for what’s hard.
There’s a life lesson in this: just because something is easy and readily available doesn’t mean it’s what you should accept. However, be prepared for a more difficult journey to reach your new aim.
Challenging Fork in the Road
This refusal is going to put you in a worse position, at least initially. The second card, Seven of Wands, Reversed, indicates you’ll lose your higher ground.
You’ll likely be in a less inflammatory situation, as in there will be fewer difficult people around you, but a loss of status or prestige is possible.
Be aware that this situation may last the full ten years and afterward, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Someone who leaves a prestigious job with stressful coworkers for something new may not enjoy the lower social rank that comes with it. But the peace of mind is a much greater reward.
There’s a reality check you need to emotionally prepare yourself for. When you refuse the “easy” path for the hard path, there are always costs. I think these will be costs you’ll be willing to pay, but there’s bound to be some emotional agonizing in the process.
Fair Compromise
That said, your spread ends with a very positive card: King of Coins. This indicates you’ll be in a materially advantageous position. That means more wealth, health, or personal property.
This is in contrast to the previous wand card. Wands represent heart energy and thus spirit. It’s possible you could end up in a materially advantageous position, but one that doesn’t necessarily align with your higher purpose.
Again, I don’t necessarily think this is a bad thing, but you may need to make adjustments. Someone who has a higher purpose to heal others, but chooses to leave the nursing profession because it stresses them out, may feel emotionally or spiritually unfulfilled by their new job even if it’s materially better for them.
That said, this person may have made that change as a compromise. Perhaps on the weekend they volunteer or have a personal project that’s in alignment with their higher purpose.
It’s okay to alter your life circumstances for your material advantage as long as you’re manifesting your higher purpose elsewhere in life. You don’t have to suffer to achieve your higher purpose.

Pile 2: Ribbon
Start Soon
It seems like you’ll be starting a new material venture. The Page of Coins indicates it could be a new business, getting healthy, or acquiring property.
This is likely to be exciting and also something you aren’t fully prepared for. Because of that, you may find yourself struggling to manifest this venture. It’s likely related to a personal dream or ambition you have for yourself.
The entrepreneurial spirit is important here. You’re likely to have some false starts and failures that can be discouraging. Even so, it’s important to persevere.
While it can mean something you’ll get an idea for and start later, whatever this is may already be something on your mind. If that’s the case, you should start as soon as possible. If you wait too long, you’ll likely find yourself midway through a false start and not have made much progress ten years from now.
Not Working Hard
Speaking of failure, the second card, Eight of Coins, Reversed, indicates a lack of work ethic.
For some of you, this could mean the reason you fail is that you didn’t work hard enough or you applied your effort in the wrong way. Brush up on some productivity advice, hone those methods, and then compare your efforts to your ability. That means seeing if your efforts are matched by competency.
If not, hard work alone won’t solve your issue. You may need to study, practice, or get a mentor to help you over the final hurdle.
That said, some in this pile may be starting a new material venture to make their life easier. In this case, your second card suggests not working hard is a virtue and you’re finally getting the time you need to relax.
The life lesson here is that working hard isn’t necessarily the road to a better life. The efforts you apply should have an appropriate and effective work/life balance.
Socialize
The final card in your spread is Three of Cups. This is a card of joy and togetherness. Now it can indicate that your life path over these next ten years will lead to a wonderful material manifestation. I’m not discounting that.
However, I sense a different meaning here. Something about your new venture is going to lead to a better social life.
This may not be something you intended. For example, someone who starts running to lose weight may find themselves befriending members of the running community.
The point is that there’s a real opportunity to make meaningful and lifelong friendships from this new venture. For that reason, you should be open to the social options that become available to you.
At first, you may not recognize what these options will be, but when one does come your way, don’t turn it down to work on the new venture. Humans are social creatures and true relationships give a sense of purpose that work rarely provides.
You don’t live to work. You work to live.

Pile 3: Wagon
It All Falls Away
I see a lot of powerful spiritual energy in your spread. However, it’s grounded, suggesting that the manifestation of this spiritual energy is tangible.
The first card, The Tower, Reversed, indicates you’re going to avoid something big. I read this card in two different ways here: some of you will avoid a disaster while others will reject a spiritual awakening.
Either way, I don’t sense ruin in your spread for either path. So it’s going to feel as if there’s spiritual warfare going on in your life that becomes reflected in your daily life.
A person who feels like they can’t pursue their higher purpose will feel that in how they’re trapped into doing things they don’t want to do. A person who is cursed may feel like everything around them is malevolent.
My advice for everyone in this pile is to connect to something higher or greater than yourself. Have a spiritual practice, even if it’s something as simple as a short daily meditation.
A Bad Project
You’re going to have multiple projects over the next ten years. However, the Seven of Pentacles, Reversed indicates that at least one of these projects is going to go sideways.
For some of you, this was divine intervention. The universe ruined a project because it could’ve led to a much bigger disaster. Others will face ruin because they ignored their spiritual relationship with the divine and were unable to see the path forward.
Again, having a clear spiritual practice will keep things on the right path for you, but be prepared for some disappointment over the next ten years as you may avoid disaster and a spiritual awakening at different times.
That’s not necessarily a novel thing. Rather, I suspect the universe is informing you of this future so that you don’t get discouraged over the failure of one project. Other projects of yours are likely to succeed.
Don’t see one failure as a testament to your lack of worth. You are worthy. You are valuable. But sometimes things don’t work out 100% of the time.
Crowning Glory
The good news is that your final card, King of Wands, suggests you’ll be in an amazing position spiritually ten years from now. Your connection to life and vitality will be strong and you’ll likely have formed a good spiritual practice.
Some of you will have developed spiritual abilities while others will feel a strong sense of purpose in what you’re doing.
This kind of confidence only comes from success, not failure, meaning the struggles you face over the next ten years aren’t the whole story. Expect things to work out for you most of the time or for there to be an amazing climatic success after an initial struggle.
Don’t lose heart even when things are frustrating you. You will step into your glory.
