Something Needs to Change

Your first card is Attachment. Because of the rest of your spread, it seems like you’re so focused on your vision for the future that you have no flexibility.

I also think this card signifies a strong spiritual discernment that you’re capable of. You can make very good decisions in your career which can anticipate the near future effectively. Not only what you want, but will work and be successful too.

All you need to do is be receptive to signs around you. Take notice of anything that seems out of place or seems especially symbolic.

What Your Purpose Here Is Meant to Be

Your final card is the Ten of Pentacles, Reversed. To make your career legendary, you can’t focus on legacy.

This may seem to be a strange thing to say, but while you can anticipate the near future, I don’t think you can predict generations from now. That’s not unusual: there’s a lot of free will between now and a century from now.

Don’t frame your career based on how you’d be perceived after you’re gone. Instead, think about how you could be important now.

When it comes to your career, I think you’ll be more successful and influential if you try to reflect whatever current need you’re trying to fulfill.

Yes, some artists become famous after death, but the goal of every artist is to be popular while they’re alive. If you focus too much on a post-mortem legacy, you may create a career for yourself that doesn’t reflect the needs of the people you’re trying to reach in the first place.

Money Isn’t the Problem

This is an amazing spread for career success. Right now you’re in a position to take advantage of abundant energy to make your career legendary.

The first card is Financial Constraints, Reversed. Either money isn’t about to be an issue, or you can approach your career from a different angle that wouldn’t require as much money as you think.

I watch a lot of chateau restoration vlogs on YouTube. The restorers save a lot of money by purchasing affordable antiques at charity shops. They also do workstays so that people visiting France can volunteer their labor in return for room and board while they vacation in the country. These chateaus are then turned into bed and breakfasts.

While I hope everyone who chooses this pile comes into financial abundance, know that money doesn’t have to be an obstacle if you’re limited. There is always another way to approach pursuing your career or passion. And it might turn out to be a fun and rewarding experience.

This is an especially important lesson for you to learn if you can’t afford education or would like to start a business.

Aries Energy

The next card in your spread is Patience, Reversed. I interpreted this card to be positive, which is unusual for this particular position, but it felt right with your spread. Right now is not when you should bide your time. Strike while it’s hot.

There’s an opportunity present in your life that will appear soon that you must take advantage of. That’s not to say you’ll never have opportunities in the future, but this one will excite you and give you the option to pursue your career or passion without the financial constraints you fear.

This is because there’s quite a bit of Aries energy in your spread. This is an enterprising and ambitious energy that is very conducive to making a career legendary.

Being methodical is always an option – but the most successful careers tend to take some sort of risk. That’s because only the brave push out the frontiers of what’s possible. And I think you’re that person.

Base Level of Organization

The third card in your spread is King of Pentacles. This balances the Aries energy from the last card with more finesse. You can and will make things happen.

But beyond being brave and not being financially limited, how else do you make your career legendary? It will help to create a framework to guide you. Establish a career plan that’s broken down into ten year, five year, three year, one year, six month, three month, and one month increments.

Don’t get too detailed, however. This plan should be less than three pages long and each section can just be a paragraph long at most.

The point is to discretely define your success conditions. The different time increments allow you the chance to revise and adjust your plan according to your impatient energy and the opportunities that come your way.

Your plan isn’t going to survive the world in its perfect state, but your plan will be a tool you can use to react to the world with the finesse this card calls for.

Ask Yourself If It Matters

You’re blind when it comes to your career. The first card, Adjacent Possibilities, seems to indicate a need to think outside of the box – because you’ve put yourself in one.

You may feel stuck or that you aren’t happy with your career. That’s because your chance to grow within that career has been limited.

A person’s career or whatever they consider to be the way they give back to the world can’t be one of restriction.

The first thing I want you to ask yourself is this: “do I even want to pursue this path?” If not, you should make a career change. It’s very hard to make something successful if your heart isn’t in it.

Now a desire to pursue something can be because you find it intrinsically rewarding or because it permits you the financial security to pursue other things. If either of those reasons is absent, you must make a change.

For those who are satisfied, the adjacent possibility is approaching your career or passion in a new way.

Restore Your Intuition

The next card is Goddess of the Moon, Reversed. It seems as if your intuition is a bit faulty right now. This blockage may have caused answering the last question fully impossible.

I think the reason you’re blocked or feeling unsettled in your career is that there’s some ambiguity in your position within that career. You aren’t certain that you can be a success and you don’t know how to make it possible.

For those who realized they needed an entirely new career, you may be at a loss as to what to do or how to pursue that path.

You need to begin a research project. But your research shouldn’t just be intellectual. To activate your intuition, you must participate in your self-discovery by acting as if.

Try to model a new career path in your daily life with related activities or try out new things to see what fits. Be process oriented.

When it’s right, you’ll feel a sense of clarity within that’s overwhelming.

Intuition can’t be activated if you don’t have enough experience to evaluate the messages you’re being sent. The universe is sending you messages, but you don’t have the experience to discern the message within your mind.

Don’t Think About Your Reputation

Your third card is Six of Wands, Reversed. Your spread doesn’t indicate exactly how your career will be legendary and influential – and I don’t think that’s what the universe wants you to focus on right now.

Why?

Because I think you’re negatively influenced by the opinion of others. Their opinions do matter, but only if you can receive that influence constructively.

I think you’ve pursued your career or passion with the hope to please the people around you. Either so they will be pleased by your efforts or celebrate you.

This is dulling your intuition because you aren’t activating your true desires and are instead focusing on the desires of others. What other people want for your career isn’t going to reflect the day-to-day reality of you working that path.
