Love Your Career Again — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic tarot reading on how you can love your career again. This is for those struggling at work or those who want to boost their joy even more.
All you have to do to receive this message is pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Kawaii Tarot deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s see what you can do to bring more joy into your career.
Pile 1: Fox
Change Is Needed
There’s some part of you that feels your current career is misaligned with your life purpose. The Star, Reversed shows this quite clearly.
However, the rest of your spread does indicate you should grow from this point instead of starting over altogether.
My intuition is telling me that your current career is either the right one for you and changes need to take place or there’s something about your current position that will teach you something important.
The good news is that both situations have the same solution: look towards the future and what excites you.
Whatever you feel is awful about your current career will not last. Change is on the horizon and that change will put you back into alignment with your life purpose.
Prepare to Pivot
Your action step in this spread begins with the Three of Wands card. This is a card of expansion and testing things. It’s possible you may have assumptions about your career that aren’t founded on reality, but instead ideals and desperation.
That’s fairly normal, so don’t be alarmed you’ve found yourself where you are now because you’re getting out of it anyway. You’re different and just meant for more.
What you need to do next is make a list of all the things you enjoy, all the things you’re good at (even if it seems unrelated to your career), and all the things you could reasonably be paid for whether you like it or not.
This exercise will help you to brainstorm possible pivots from your current situation.
An example of this would be a fitness instructor who finds they dislike their career. They do this exercise and realize they love helping people, but they’re not good at one-on-one communication. However, they are good at writing.
With some research, they realize they could create educational fitness content as a career. And you know what? All their life experiences, and even that initial misalignment, turned out to be important to doing well in their new career.
I see a similar experience being true for many who chose this pile.
Choose Your Struggle
You will need to take on new responsibilities according to the Ten of Wands card. It’ll be overwhelming at first, but a little difficulty now will clear the path for you.
Try to pick your struggle, though. Imagine you’re in a phone customer service position and you don’t like it. You have an option to stay with retail support or move to tech support. You like computers, so you decide to make that lateral move toward something you might like a little better.
That’s how you should pick your responsibilities. Try to aim for that which seems more aligned with your preferences even if imperfect. You’ll do it better, like it more, and it’ll give you more relevant opportunities to pivot from later.

Pile 2: Mouse
Use What You Have
I see a really positive spread for you. This could either indicate you don’t dislike your career at all and just want to boost joy OR the road to career happiness is more straightforward for you than expected.
The first card, Magician, indicates you have what you need to succeed. Not a surprise considering your spread, but it’s something you may not realize. You either have the talent, the resources, or the social network to make your career more enjoyable.
It’s time to tap into those. Do you have potential that hasn’t been nurtured? Or maybe, you have resources you aren’t using. Some of you might have allies that could make your life easier – and it could be as simple as chatting and befriending your coworkers so you look forward to going to work.
Use what you have right now instead of assuming you need to wait for luck to come your way. It’s already here.
Don’t Say Yes So Easily
I do think you might be a bit impulsive given the Knight of Swords card. You rush into things and while it often works out, you may commit yourself to things you wished you didn’t.
You need to pause and really ask yourself if what you’re about to do in the future is something you want to keep doing. Your enthusiasm to succeed is amazing, but you probably take on more than you can handle.
When confronted with an opportunity, take a deep breath, count to three, and then ask yourself the following questions: Do I have time for this? Do I want to do this? Am I prepared for this?
If you don’t answer yes to those three questions, you should reconsider whether it’s appropriate for you to pursue that opportunity at the current time. And if you’re afraid to lose the opportunity, ask yourself or the person presenting it to you if you can try it later. You’d be surprised how often that is an option.
Check Yourself
Your final card indicates hope, good fortune, but also throwing yourself into new paths that may or may not work out. This card, The Fool, suggests you’ll likely succeed in what you do, but there’s something unwise about your approach.
I think this is because you aren’t fully aligned with what you’re doing. You’re a blank slate ready to be filled, but that eagerness is not necessarily matched with true purpose.
This isn’t a bad thing, but you need to start asking yourself if you’re just doing things to do them instead of doing things that seem relevant to your future goals. Do you have career goals? Is your current career manifesting possibilities for you?
It’s time to evaluate how well matched your current situation is with those goals. And if you don’t have goals or you’re misaligned, even if you’re succeeding right now, it might be time to transition towards what you’re actually excited about.
Success is not justification for being emotionally unattached to your career.

Pile 3: Seahorse
Be Holistically Joyous
It’s time to make a commitment so you can be happy. For some of you, the Two of Cups in your spread could indicate devoting yourself to your career, but I also think this can indicate your personal life too.
Sometimes, what’s happening in our personal lives spills over into our careers. It’s a known fact that being married tends to increase economic success. Having friends helps to network. Having hobbies blows off steam and expands happiness.
So don’t disregard your social and emotional needs. Is there something or someone you should be committing to right now? Don’t put them in second place. Devote your time to them and it’ll be a boon to the rest of your life (including your career).
Life Getting Easier
With the Ten of Swords, Reversed, I sense good things. Your career is either about to make a promising turn or if you’re truly struggling, that struggle will begin to fade away.
I don’t necessarily think this indicates massive success in your career, but rather the anxieties you have about your career will fade. This will increase your baseline contentment and make it easier to persist and continue on – which is its own kind of career love.
But I primarily think this is happening because your overall life will get better rather than anything specific to your career. Your happiness will rise and so will your vibration. This will attract opportunities and make your social relationships on the job better.
It all looks up from here on out.
Look at Your Personal Life
I do think you need to be prepared for a bit of chaos. The Emperor, Reversed could indicate a difficult boss or that work may be a bit crazy. That may sound worrying to you, but since so much of your spread is good, I think this is a sign that nothing negative at work can actually touch you.
If your career is difficult, you’re going to get a new job offer or something like a bad boss or coworker will be fired.
But even so, I think this whole negative energy is so irrelevant to your life right now. When that happens, it indicates that so much good is happening in your personal life that you can’t even emotionally internalize stresses on the job. It just doesn’t matter to you. It’s a whisper and your personal life is a shout.
Perhaps some in this pile are getting married, having children, discovering a new passion – the possibilities are endless, but it’s clear life is just – good.
Your career may take the backseat for a while. Even if you’re devoted to your career and quite ambitious, this turn may be a healthy chance to enjoy all the other wonderful things life has the offer.
The main story right now isn’t work, but play.
