How to Be Confident — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic tarot reading with a message on how to be confident and use that to make your life bloom.
All you have to do to receive this message is pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Believe In Your Own Magic Oracle deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s make you more confident!
Pile 1: Dragon
You’re Powerful
There are dragons in your life. I rarely pick the images for the piles on purpose, but this one I did and if you were attracted to it, then know that you have some real monsters to deal with. And you can deal with them.
The first card, Dragons, has the wisdom message of “Slay them all.” Nobody is going to confront your obstacles for you. Some in this pile might act as a general and delegate some responsibilities, but know that, ultimately, you’ll either be acting directly or leading the charge.
These dragons are guarding a metaphorical castle in your life. It’s your castle, or at the very least, symbolic of something you need to conquer and control. They have the advantage because of this, but inside that castle is a treasure.
Being confident for you isn’t ignoring the challenge in front of you or pretending it’s easier than it is: this time, fully comprehending the obstacle as massive will help you prepare appropriately and go in with as much gusto as you can manage.
Lingering Memories
Now your spread strongly indicates you’ll be victorious. The second card, Tree, has the wisdom message of “Let them go.” The dragons in your life have already left a mark or are likely to do so. It’s okay to take some time and emotionally process how they affect you, but you can’t let them haunt you.
Eventually, you need to accept the war is over and that you won. It’s easy to imagine that your life will never get better because you had to slay dragons in the first place, but don’t let your past define your present or your future.
Instead, look back on this victory as proof of what you can accomplish and how you’re able to forever change your life for the better. Just because something difficult happened in the past doesn’t mean it will happen again.
Letting go is accepting the fact you can finally relax. Don’t build a monument to memorialize the dragons. They don’t deserve that respect.
The Next Step
The last card is Morning with the wisdom message of “The world awaits you.” There’s also a pun here: morning also means mourning in your spread.
To mourn something is to accept it’s gone. Once you’ve done that, you’ll wake up in an entirely new world with new opportunities for you to tackle. It’ll be exciting and energizing in a way the slaying of the dragons wasn’t.
Sometimes challenges are fun, but I don’t think slaying the dragons will be. That said, don’t let your trepidation over slaying those dragons lead you to believe it’s a lasting feeling. You’re going to wake up from that challenge (some of you will find it a nightmare).
For you, being confident is knowing that you have a brighter future. Use that hope to get you through any challenge you face, whether it’s a difficult test or a toxic relationship.

Pile 2: Starfish
You’ve Done Enough
Your spread was unexpected, but I think it’s something a lot of people needed to hear which is why it showed up in this pile. The first card, Escapist, has the wisdom message of “Come home to yourself.”
Sometimes, being confident means an action you take in the world, but other times, you’ve done enough. It seems as if your desire to be confident may not be relevant to your current challenge: instead, you need to wait and see what happens.
This is likely because you’ve done enough work already or there are external factors that nobody can control, no matter how confident.
When that happens, the best thing to do is to step back and enjoy your own company pursuing your interests. This will help you decompress and wait for the intervention the universe seems to be signifying is about to happen.
The Situation Is Not Fruitful
There may be a negative influence in your environment. The second card, Shark, has the wisdom message of “Swim away from this situation.” The negativity could be genuinely dangerous, or it could simply be a sign that the waters you’re treading in aren’t currently meant for you.
Either way, you need assistance, but until that arrives, you need to separate yourself from any situation that seems overwhelming. Do the minimum necessary, but not much more than that: you need time for things to change.
An example of this would be someone who writes a novel and sends it out to a hundred agents. At some point, the author has done enough and just needs to wait for the situation to change (acceptance or rejection) because sending to more agents may not result in what they want anyway.
You need evidence or you need change, and that requires waiting, not confidence right now.
It’s Already Happening
This pile is actually good news as I’ve been alluding to in the previous cards. The third card is Witch with the wisdom message of “Justice is coming.” The result you want and thought you needed to act confidently for is already in the process of working out in your favor.
A lot of people think that just being 150% confident will achieve whatever they want, but many manifestation coaches will remind you that wanting something desperately often pushes it away from you. That’s what’s happening in your spread: if you want something so desperately in troubled waters, you aren’t going to attract it.
Instead, you’ll likely take unproductive actions that will set you back.
So escaping the situation a bit and relaxing will reset the energetic field around you and let what you’ve already done work in the background to attract what you want to you.

Pile 3: Forest
Be the Hero
Humans can’t help but look at life through the lens of a story. The first card, Library, has the wisdom message of “Take control of your own narrative.” That means it’s time to make yourself the main character.
People often perceive themselves as passive non-playable characters in the world. Things don’t happen for you, but to you, and you aren’t the agent responsible. See how that perception of life will cause you to fade in the background or let someone else in your life be the hero of your own story?
To be more confident, you need to take time and write a short (or long) narrative dealing woth the future you want for yourself. Sure, you’re likely to change your mind on some things later, but focus on the story you write for yourself: are you the hero, or are you waiting for things to happen to you instead?
Revise your story to be the protagonist who sets life into motion.
Reach for What You Want
There are many genres in storytelling, but you might be living a genre you don’t even like. The second card, Sun, has the wisdom message of “Paint the sun back into your sky.”
Make sure the story you write for yourself has happy chapters and a happy ending. It’s okay for your life story to be unrealistic or lack intense conflict. But that’s why what you do is so important: the reason why Jane Austen’s Emma is so ingenious a story is that nothing happens to Emma that she didn’t essentially cause herself.
You get the sense from the story that Emma never thought something would happen to her because she lived in a country town with a sick father, so she tried to intercede on behalf of others. But once she took responsibility for her actions, she found herself in a love story – which is something she obviously wanted from the beginning.
Whatever it is you want for life, make the decision to make that part of your narrative and the actions you take on the path to get the rewards you seek.
Be Open to Relationships
Your third card is Raindrops with the wisdom message of “Take a chance on them.” Many in this pile will resonate with the romantic idea of this message. To fall in love, you have to seek it.
But the nuance of this card is that life is interesting with the chaotic element of another person to interact with. Stories are the same way: we’re more interested when the protagonist has friends, lovers, family, mentors, and sometimes, even enemies.
Consider the type of relationships you want to experience. Maybe you just want positive relationships. Maybe you’re a competitive person and want a rival – it’s all okay. The point being, you should want people in your life to interact with even though you don’t get to choose what they do.
But that just means you get to write another chapter to your amazing life story or revise what happens. And you too, will be interested by the life you lead.
