Pile 1: Panda

Beauty

One of the terrible things about work is that we tend to disassociate ourselves from pleasant things. That’s why the universe thinks your first card, Beauty, is so important.

One thing I’ve noticed a lot of people connected to the fashion world do is wear black. Now there are a lot of good reasons for this, but most are so saturated with the noise of their industry that it probably becomes overwhelming to wear or enjoy trends casually.

Here the universe is asking you to bring beauty back into your life so you get a reminder of the vivid possibilities of the world. This can include dressing up, rearranging your desk, or making it a point to look at beautiful things in your spare time.

It’ll be chicken soup for your weary soul.

Peace

Serenity is important. Work can be exhausting or overstimulating. That’s why finding Peace can help calm your mind.

There are a few ways to do this, but the most common methods are mindfulness and simplicity.

You probably know where I’m going with mindfulness: meditating before, during, or after work can create a healthy routine to decompress or get yourself in the right mindset. I personally hate meditating for more than a few minutes, but I find that taking three deep breaths when I get stressed deflates a lot of pent-up anxiety.

The second thing though is simplicity. Part of the reason why we become overwhelmed is that there’s too much complexity for us to deal with. Every complexity represents decisions or thoughts we have to contend with.

Minimalizing your space or your work life will reduce that complexity. Perhaps you could identify your top priorities for the day and then focus on those. Or you could try not to do everything well and instead focus on just one thing until it becomes a habit. So doing something until it becomes automatic and you don’t have to think about it, freeing up real estate in your mind.

Blessings

There’s some good news in your spread with the Blessings card. The universe is telling you here that something good is about to happen. A blessing isn’t something you necessarily earn, but it is something that improves your life.

This will be related to your career or make your work life easier. Perhaps you’ll get a new opportunity, a raise, or even that awful person in accounting transfers to a different location.

The point is, that you’re going to receive a gift. Due to the other cards in your spread, this blessing may be designed to reorient you toward your life purpose in some way.

Part of recognizing beauty is recognizing the ideal possibility in the universe. And simplicity itself can be beautiful because things are refined down to their elegant essentials.

Pile 2: Butterfly

Healing

Because this card features a person doing a ritual, I see the Healing card as something you do within your job.

Humans are social creatures and helping others fulfills an existential need we have. You’re literally designed to be helpful.

That said, healing comes in many forms. The point of healing is to repair something that’s broken, so it’s a bit like problem-solving at its core. Plumbers have done a lot of healing for this world (and saved many lives).

What the universe wants you to do is identify one problem, ideally something you can address within the next three months as a project, and then solve it. If you do so, you’ll heal a person or the universe in a way that matters. No healing is too small because all healing is needed. It purifies the world.

Talent

It’s rare, but sometimes, I do pull spreads where the cards aren’t related to each other and in this case, that’s you. The second card, Talent, asks you to embrace what you do well.

Now talents are interesting because they aren’t just skills. The connotation of the word is spiritual or innate. It’s something directly tied to your character. Someone may be good at driving at car, but it’s not necessarily a talent in the way curiosity is.

Consider your identity. Brainstorm some attributes you have. Perhaps you’re creative, smart, or empathetic. That’s your talent.

But talents manifest in the world through skills that you refine. If you recognize your inherent talent over your possible skills, you’ll see ways you can work that you may not have seen previously.

My talent is the ability to remain calm under pressure. According to my Big 5 results, I have a 1% volatility rating – meaning 99% of the population is more volatile than me. I am stoic. I use this in life to tackle the uncertainty of owning my own business. When I was eleven, I even won a competition at a martial arts academy because no one could make me flinch from distraction or fear.

Your talent, your identity, can be an asset in whatever job you have: including this one.

Fertility

The final card in your spread is one of potential: Fertility. You’re likely creative or there’s something about you or your current work situation that’s promising. You probably also have options.

It’s okay to enjoy the abundance of this right now and weigh what decision you’ll make next. Things aren’t as narrow or final as they may initially appear.

Inspiration

The universe is about to work through you. This may sound scary, but part of the universe’s divine plan is to facilitate your destiny when it comes to work.

Someone in this spread who is in a dead-end retail job may end up encountering a customer who seems to need help on a little thing – only to find out that what you’re helping them with may save their life in some way.

Trust your intuition. Powerful waves will crash into your life and you need to ride that wave to change the world with whatever sphere of influence you have (big or small).

Animals

I think the universe is going to use signs and symbols to deliver some of those messages, in particular with Animals. You may encounter your spirit animals more or see synchronicities in your environment.

I’ll share my own story: yesterday, I found a ladybug in my shower after I finished and that’s never happened before, let alone at this time of year. I knew it was a sign and I’m hilariously notorious for being blind to signs.

Use the internet or symbolism books to help you derive meanings. But also use your intuition too.

Ladybugs are known for bringing good luck and are also a sign of transformation. Showers are where you cleanse yourself physically, but spiritually too. Taken together, I can safely assume in my case that this was a message that my bad luck was cleansed and I’m stepping into a better chapter in my life.

Justice

The final card is one of powerful karma: Justice. The universe can be harsh when it does intercede or craft divine plans, but it is fair. We may not always understand the universe’s decision, but we do know that what goes around comes around.
