Your Next Opportunity — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a psychic tarot reading on your next opportunity, specifically in work or something you’re passionate about. Use this for your job, a career or business you hope to start, or a hobby you love.
All you have to do to receive this message is pick one of the piles above using your intuition.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
For this reading, I’ve chosen the Wisdom of the Oracle deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s see what your next opportunity is!
Pile 1: Castle
Balance of Energies
There’s something about this spread that makes me really excited and happy. It’s probably my favorite three-card reading I’ve pulled in a long time. I’m channeling a lot of positivity here so I think your next opportunity is somehow significant or meaningful to you.
Notice the balance with the Yang and Yin cards. Everyone has their own manifestation of this energy balance. While yours is unlikely to change, what I do sense is a healthy application of your masculine and feminine energy towards your goals and projects.
Yang energy is masculine, assertive, logical, outward, and manifesting. That indicates you’ll be doing something with a tangible outcome – a very good sign that your next opportunity will be a success.
Applying Energies
Your second card, Yin, is feminine, intuitive, emotional, inward, and receptive. There’s going to be going on a lot inside of you on a spiritual and mental level. You’ll be a person with depths and that’s going to compliment your outward-facing actions.
I’d recommend leaning into your Yin energy first because it will help you to get in touch with your real feelings. Self-care is good here, but so too is spirituality, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying good entertainment. Once you’re in this energy, brainstorm and contemplate what it is you want to achieve in life.
Then, use your Yang energy to create a logical plan that you’ll then act on. This will be your secret to success.
I do think this particular spread is self-directed. That means your next opportunity is one you design.
Your Symbolism Explained
With your final card being Clean It Up, I see this as minimizing and letting go of what no longer serves you. Your masculine and feminine energies are about interconnectedness and harmony when together.
These are very pure energies so purifying your life will allow these energies to take more mature and exaggerated forms. Those forms will help you to succeed when previously you may have struggled.
Symbolically, we see this card featuring a stag, a very masculine energy, but paired with a stereotypically feminine activity (cleaning). We also see the stag holding up the duster to the sky almost like a magical wand. This beckons the image of as above, so below. The Yang and Yin energy is also about uniting Heaven and Earth.
By tending and applying your energies, you’ll not only be pursuing your next opportunity, but doing something you’re fated to do. The amazing plus here is that you get a lot of say in what that opportunity is this time around. So choose what you want to succeed in.

Pile 2: Woman
What You’re Capable Of
One of the ways that you can increase your happiness is to make progress. Your spread today is about identifying and pursuing an opportunity that can last you a lifetime. It’s not a one-and-done sort of deal.
The first card, Unfinished Symphony, asks you to look at something in your life you haven’t completed but still mattered to you. This is the key to your next opportunity. Whatever it is, frame that not as a finite goal, but a chapter in a greater pursuit.
A musician might have an unfinished song, but it doesn’t represent that song, but a wonderful lifetime of musical creation. Similarly, someone who didn’t finish college has a lifetime of personal study ahead of them.
Whatever your reasons for not finishing, I think the universe now wants you to recognize that you were never meant to have seen that success as the end of your pursuit anyway. So now as you go forward, expand your perception of what’s possible in that area.
See Your Whole Future
An exercise I want you to do is to imagine a future where there isn’t a retirement period for your pursuit. The Never-Ending Story card is an indication that your next opportunity is supposed to have a lifetime of activity.
That doesn’t mean you’ll be going at full speed for the rest of your life, but I want you to brainstorm how you would continue to pursue something related to your unfinished project later in life.
Even an author who doesn’t have any stories left in them might revisit their book and adapt it to other forms. Or perhaps they would encourage fandom culture and meet with readers.
Open yourself to the possibility of what this opportunity can have for you even if the manifestation of that opportunity changes over time.
This vision might change as you go about life, but practicing that vision by brainstorming it will be very encouraging and enlightening to you.
Cheering Up
I see a lot of joy due to your final card, Happy, Happy. I see this both as in-the-moment jubilation and longterm fulfillment. The best creatives don’t create to be successful, but because they like the process. Or enjoy overcoming the torment (if we’re being honest).
Whatever your unfinished project is, your next long-term isn’t so much about success (though I think you’ll have it eventually), but enjoying the process.
Expect your life to change and for what you do on a daily basis to be transformed because of it. Your happiness will increase and you’ll feel more satisfied.

Pile 3: Terrarium
The Difference Change Makes
You have an eventful next chapter of your life. The first card, A Change in the Wind, indicates something new arriving in your life. This could be a new person, job, home, and so on.
It’s going to bring a lot of novelty and a different perception to life. I don’t think it’s going to be all good, but it’ll serve as an important lesson and help set you on a path where you’ll be even happier.
That’s not to say your next opportunity is a disappointment. Rather, I see it as dramatic and life-altering. What you thought you knew was true wasn’t, or at the very least, that truth won’t be as relevant anymore.
You’ve got something better to pursue now.
The Beauty of Gold
The second card, Mending, can mean a lot of things, but I primarily see it as you filling the holes that the change either causes or exposes.
Perhaps the way it challenges you is by showing you where you’re weak. This opportunity to mend those gaps will make you stronger.
In Japan, there’s a concept called kintsugi. This is where a broken ceramic is put together with golden glue. And it makes it a more interesting and storied piece.
I see that being true for you with your next opportunity. A ceramic vase is like any other ceramic vase in its line. But the one that’s broken is shattered in a combination unlikely to be repeated. The kintsugi gold that binds it together gives it a glory it would’ve otherwise never had.
You will ascend because of this challenge, not fall.
Usher In Creative Chaos
The final card, To the Sea, represents chaos, liminal spaces, and creativity. You’re venturing into unchartered waters, but you’re going to manifest something amazing.
Nobody else is like you which means your potential to create from your next opportunity is extraordinary and unique. Whatever you believe are the limitations, you’re wrong – you’re capable of so much more.
Technology is a good example here. Bill Gates in 1995 said “the internet will be used primarily for research and business, and it will not affect the average consumer.” He was hilariously incorrect, but it’s the norm not to anticipate revolutionary changes.
More recently, and positively, Elon Musk wanted to build a rocket launcher tower that could also catch the vehicle when it came back to Earth using large metal “chopsticks.” Most engineers were against it and even someone without a science background would look at that idea and think it insane. But when it worked, you saw space nerds all over the world cheering and even crying from joy. This invention will change everything.
You have good ideas even if people disagree with them. Pursue them and watch the unimaginable manifest.
