Does This Person Have a Crush on You? — Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a romance reading. This reading is for those who are interested in finding out if a particular person has feelings for them. But those already in a relationship won’t find this works for their current partner.
All you have to do is pick the pile that sticks out to you the most. Which animal inspires your intuition? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Tattoo Tarot deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to find out if this person has a crush on you.
Pile 1: Fox
Something Is Unfinished Between You
My overall impression from your spread is that this person doesn’t know what they feel about you. The World, Reversed card indicates that there’s something unfinished between you that unsettles this person into believing they can’t decide what their feelings are.
It’s fair to say that someone can be momentarily attracted to another person. This attraction can be sexual, romantic, or platonic. I think that’s what’s happening here.
If this person is someone you plan to spend time around in any form, this problem needs to be solved. A relationship on uncertain terms is never healthy for anyone.
This confusion can also send mixed signals and create an unintentionally toxic atmosphere.
However, don’t be alarmed: as long as you find a way to address what’s unfinished then this problem can be resolved almost instantly.
This Person Is a Perfectionist
But let’s talk about the perspective of this person towards you. The second card is Eight of Coins. This is a card of perfectionism and work – this person thinks that the chemistry between you requires effort. And no mistakes can be made.
That’s a problem for a few reasons. The first and most obvious one is that this person is unlikely to be their real selves around you. That’s going to result in whatever is unfinished remaining unfinished.
Take a breath. Make sure the other person is taking a breath. Whether you want this person to think of you romantically or not, you need to find a way to make things more casual and less stressful.
This will help the other person let their guard down and be themselves. Only then can this person interact with you in a healthy way that can promote a positive relationship.
The final card is The Chariot, Reversed. No matter what this person feels for you, resolving the mystery doesn’t mean things will be smooth sailing from then on. This card is about halting in place or even reversing course. You may need to chase them.
When paired with the last card about perfectionism, something about you and this person makes it difficult to proceed. They believe a relationship of depth is impossible.
So let’s talk about what to do in different scenarios. If this person is someone you want to have feelings for you, making things casual will help destress them. But you can’t remain casual forever.
This person doesn’t currently see a future as a couple unless they see you have the same goals or values. You’re going to need to address this early in a relationship.
However, if this is a person you don’t want a romantic relationship with, then the casual connection is promising for a friendship (but not a deep one). To change that, you need to share something personal so you’re connected beyond mere interests and hobbies.
As for someone you want out of your life altogether, know that they want to depart as soon as possible. You don’t need to do anything in that case but make it clear you want them gone.

Pile 2: Triceratops
A Match Made on Paper
This person thinks a relationship with you would be easy, but isn’t certain the romantic feelings are there. This would be the spread I’d see in a matchmaking scenario where a couple meets and everything is right on paper, but they haven’t experienced mutual romantic attraction yet.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it does mean that this person isn’t crushing on you despite having positive feelings about you. They’re around you, but that’s not sufficient for causing a spark.
The first card in your spread is Four of Coins. This person sees a relationship with you as something that can be stable. Perhaps one or both of you are financially secure or have a bright future. That means you aren’t likely to end the relationship over money.
But there’s a bit of greed here too. One of you sees the other as attractive not because of who they are, but of their job or status in life. This could lead to an inability to perceive real attraction and push an artificial relationship into being.
You Need to Show Interest
That said, just because attraction doesn’t exist right now doesn’t mean a romantic relationship can’t form. The second card, Ten of Wands, Reversed, means that this person sees the relationship between you as one where burdens are relieved.
Something about you is complimentary. Even if you feel like you’re too different from each other, this person sees potential and is likely wanting to pursue that relationship to let love blossom.
A note here: just because I’m mentioning potential romance doesn’t mean a relationship will always form. For some, the other person may accept that romance isn’t going to happen and just wants a friendship or business partnership. In other words, their logical mind is at work, but not their heart.
Even though things look good on paper, something tells me this person is secretly a romantic. While they may be momentarily misled by a paper match, they’ll only accept romance if feelings manifest directly.
So this relationship is going nowhere without clear displays of love. Traditional dating is necessary to push that along. Don’t be scared to show you’re interested. Be as extroverted as possible when it comes to this.
Emotions Not Aligned
I’m not confident about this relationship. The third card, Two of Cups, Reversed, suggests some sort of emotional mismatch. This doesn’t doom a relationship, but a misunderstanding of love languages could doom something before it begins.
Make sure you know your love language and ask what this person’s is too. Asking family, friends, or the person themselves can help determine the answer. A simple direct question like, “What do you like your partner to do for you in a relationship?” would be key.
But what if you don’t like this person at all? If you’re hoping for a platonic relationship, know that this is likely going to proceed in that direction if you do nothing.
If you hate this person, then take comfort in the fact they have a good opinion of you at least. As long as you don’t act harshly, you won’t be making an enemy anytime soon.

Pile 3: Dog
Do You Really Know Each Other?
This is the spread of a missed connection or friends that could be something more. There’s a history here in this life or past lives. The first card is Six of Cups which stands for nostalgia. One or both of you could be harboring romantic feelings for the other, but it’s mostly in the past.
To some degree, this person has moved on from their feelings. They have a positive view of you and would likely be willing to pursue it if the timing is right, but they feel as if the timing isn’t right.
What should you do about that? First, you should question whether or not romantic feelings are reasonable. It’s not uncommon for people with a history to think they feel something more than they do just because they felt that way in the past.
You’ve grown apart as much as you’ve grown together, and you probably have ideas about who the other person is based on that past rather than the present. If this nostalgic blinder is in place, you both need to be awakened to who the other person is now.
Happy, But Too Comfortable
That said, the second card, The Sun, is very promising. Most decks with this card feature a single person, but this deck features two. I can’t ignore the romantic connection here for such a positive card.
I do think that whatever crush the other person has for you could grow into a happy and wonderful relationship. It also has an air of innocence and truths laid bare.
You can be very comfortable with each other. That’ll surprise you because you may act differently around each other than you would around other love interests. This can cause some mixed and misunderstood signals as to your feelings. It’s almost like you’re already a couple that has been married for twenty years.
Be very aware of this potential frustration in feeling like the other person isn’t being traditionally romantic. You may need to plan or ask for traditional romantic displays of affection.
A Rocky Road to Start
The final card worries me. Here we have the Ace of Cups, Reversed. This signals that a relationship won’t start on good terms. Because of this, you may be discouraged when you first ask each other out – especially if you’re friends or acquaintances and you don’t want to risk your existing platonic relationship.
Start things slow. Go on a date and don’t sleep with each other right away. Feel each other out first.
But what if you don’t want the other person to pursue you? If you still want this person in your life in a platonic sense, be clear that is what you prefer. It’s normal for people to have crushes and affections for others, but most people don’t act on them and won’t when the line is drawn.
If this is a person you won’t want around you at all, they may be persistent and even offended that you won’t at least accept their affection as friendship. I can certainly see this being the case of a friend who just doesn’t want to accept being only a friend. If this person won’t give up, you may need to cut them out of your life.
