What Makes You Attractive: Tarot Pick a Card
Hello, my soul friends! Today I have a reading on why you’re attractive to other people.
All you have to do is pick the pile that sticks out to you the most. Which animal inspires your intuition? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading.
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Star Spinner Tarot deck (this is an affiliate link that supports me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s talk about what makes you attractive.
Pile 1: Peacock
Attractive In a Special Way
You have a non-traditional spread because you’re a non-traditional person. Normally I address each card in its own section, but this spread has a more holistic meaning.
Overall, what makes you attractive is that you don’t fit a stereotype. The Emperor, Reversed and The Empress, Reversed indicate that you don’t fit a masculine or feminine caricature. That said, you probably lean more toward one than the other because of Temperance, Reversed which is about rejecting balance.
The best way I can describe this energy is that a lot of people approach romance hoping to fall for the best archetypal representation of a man or woman that they can get to return their affections.
But you’re different. What makes you attractive isn’t whether or not you’re traditionally masculine or feminine. In fact, some who chose this pile may even be this. Rather, this spread indicates your gender identity is irrelevant to your most attractive quality.
You have a special attractive quality few people have. You’ll probably attract people who have a type, but then meet you and go against their type because you’re that attractive on a special level.
You’re Quality
So what is this quality exactly? I think it’s likely tied to some fundamental aspect of your character or purpose in life. That means you need to look at what you do first. What behaviors or goals set you apart from everyone else?
The Temperance, Reversed card is the clearest hint of your personality, though the spread itself is silent on your individuality. This means that the people who chose this pile are all unique in their own ways.
But back to this card: you tend to put your full effort into something. This means you’re either an elite in that area or someone would assume that’s your future.
I once read dating advice for college students not to pick someone based on who they are in school, but what they’re working on becoming. So simply picking the most attractive person wasn’t a good idea. Yeah, that party animal barely passing their classes might be hot, but the nerdy and introverted computer programmer might be the better option for a long-term match.
This inherent ability to be good at something sets you apart from others. Anyone who wants a quality relationship will take it seriously.
It’s Like Herding Cats
What about the first two cards? I mostly see them as indicating not falling neatly into a stereotype, but we can make a few conclusions from this too. The Emperor, Reversed means you aren’t an oppressive, overbearing personality. People know they can relax around you and be themselves.
As for The Empress, Reversed, this can be a sign that you’re not the most nurturing person. Because you’re willing to give people their space and focus on your talents, you may inadvertently not spend enough time for some people.
That means you’re unlikely to attract someone who needs constant attention. If you ever notice you don’t attract the most affectionate people, that’s why. But that doesn’t mean you aren’t attracting someone of value. Rather, you’re likely to attract an introvert or someone who has an intense job or hobby.
You let other people live their lives without forcing them to be your dependent. So you essentially are attractive to independent people.

Pile 2: Bee
Go for Longterm Matches
Have you ever met someone who love bombs you shortly after meeting? They give you gifts, focus all their attention on you, and seem to practically stalk you. Their sincerity is in question and it’s even a little creepy because they don’t even really know you yet.
That’s not you. Your first card is Ace of Cups, Reversed, indicating you’re initially reserved from the perspective of other people. This can make you mysterious or seem cold, but others like that.
You’re probably going to find your best relationships will be one where love is earned through time, rather than artificial milestones. Instead of feeling like a relationship is serious after sleeping together, you’re more likely to feel it’s serious after a certain length of time.
This is an energy you give off and it’s likely to attract more traditional people who want time before relationships progress.
Even if you’re someone who enjoys hookups because of physical reasons, know that you’ll attract the best long-term partner through traditional dating. Your partner may not feel a spark on the first date, but they’ll want to get to know you better because they believe affection grows with time and experience together.
Homebodies on High Alert
The second card in your spread is the Three of Wands, Reversed. You attract people who expect fidelity in a relationship. They’re not likely to see you as someone who sleeps around or is only focused on themselves.
You’re likely to find that homebodies like you best because they believe you’ll make home life interesting. That’s not to say they aren’t willing to go on adventures with you, but you’re going to find a connection with people who enjoy quality time at home instead of bohemian nomads.
This may come from the fact you don’t lovebomb people, so they believe that you’re more focused and less likely to stray from the home you built together.
Which brings me back to the point: you’re seen as a builder. Whether or not this is true, people are attracted to you because they feel like there’s substance in who you are and a foundation for life can be built upon it.
I can imagine that you can be in a relationship with someone and spend a whole evening at home together without saying anything at all – and being perfectly content with that. You don’t need to entertain your partner. They’re attracted to you because they like to be in your presence.
But you’re still likely to attract those who want to be financially dependent on you. So make sure you’re selecting against freeloaders.
Be Clear About What You Want
Your final card is Knight of Wands. When I pulled this card, I instantly thought of your love being on a mission. This can manifest in several ways, but people are attracted to you because it seems like what you love has a purpose.
This extends to things like your life goal, but also to relationships. Your partner is likely to believe that you’ll have relationship goals, such as having kids or not having kids, and being very firm in that decision. It’s that stable energy you give off that does this, but you also seem to have a magnetic and steady burning fire in your heart too.
Consider what your values are before dating so the person you attract doesn’t build up an image in their head of what they think you’re firm on. After all, you’re a bit mysterious and they may make assumptions. So when the time is right, early in the relationship, be clear about what you’re hoping for in a life together with someone.

Pile 3: Turtle
Someone Wants to Save You
You attract people who see you as a project. This can be a good or bad thing depending on the particular person who’s vying for your affection.
The first card in your spread is Fortitude, Reversed. People think that you need help and can’t live on your own. Whether or not this is true, it can lead to you being oppressed or dependent on a partner.
Although abusive partners are a concern, I want to talk about what’s more likely: you’re going to attract people who seek their self-worth by helping you.
This can manifest in something like a traditional man seeking a traditional wife. Although this relationship can be a quite positive one, it can lead to the man assuming their entire purpose in life is to financially support his wife instead of also thinking about what he wants.
Both can be true at the same time, but you’re probably going to attract a partner who sees you as their everything.
It can be emotionally exhausting to be someone else’s source of purpose. Children are okay with their parents feeling this way when they’re little but are smothered when they become adults and their parents are still trying to seek their purpose within their child’s life.
You’re Seen As Good
The next card in your spread is Six of Wands. You give off a charismatic energy. This can be social extraversion, but it can also be a good character.
People look up to you. This attractive quality may not seem to be romantic, but people don’t only seek sexual compatibility in relationships. You seem like a good person and someone other people can be proud to know. Partners are likely to brag about you because of this.
So you can imagine why you would also attract someone who seeks their purpose within you. They may feel like they don’t deserve you or that they don’t matter as much. So while a partner may “protect” you, the focal point on you in a relationship may feel like you’re the center of attention even when you don’t want to be.
A partner may hype you and your accomplishments. So it’s not all bad. If you’re someone who feels like you haven’t been supported in the past, know that you are attractive to people who would genuinely see that you have value and abilities.
In a sense, you’re not always attracting someone who wants to oppress and control you, but rather a person who wants to be your support in life.
So focus on your accomplishments as this is likely to be how a relationship where you’re seen as “weak” and needing saving will turn into one of support and backup.
They Expect Little Touch
The last card is Queen of Swords. This is an emotionally cold card, but also one of rationality. Part of what makes you attractive is that you have a strong intellect. You’re likely to attract someone who doesn’t expect you to manage the emotional labor in a relationship but would expect you to make important, logical decisions.
I do think you can attract someone intelligent as well, but there’s a slight preference in your dating pool of good-hearted jocks over ambitious nerds.
There’s also the possibility that you’ll attract people who don’t expect you to be affectionate and thus may not be affectionate themselves. If you want a more sensory romantic experience, make sure that your partner is demonstrably affectionate early in a relationship.
Emotional reserve is likely a sign they won’t be a huggy, kissy partner in the long term. Low libido is also a potential factor. But if you’re someone who likes personal space, know you’re probably going to attract someone who respects that.
