What You Should Commit To: Tarot Pick a Card
The universe has sent you to this tarot reading because you’re ready for something in your life and you need a bit of a push to commit to it. You may have even received other divine messages. But now you can get a more detailed message with this tarot pick a card.
All you have to do is look at the piles of cards above. Which koala stands out to you the most? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading!
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Hanson-Roberts Tarot and the Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Oracle decks (these are affiliate links that support me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to commit to something amazing.
Pile 1: Letter Koala
Live According to Your Will
My first impression of your Bat card is blind intuition. We know that bats use echolocation to move around, and with the moon in the card, I get the sense that you need to commit to trusting your inner voice.
Everyone’s inner voice is different. Some people hear an actual voice, other people see text, and I feel my body physically react. You need to learn to trust the messages you’re sent. You will find that you get more in tune with this inner voice over time and may even be able to activate other ways your intuition can communicate to you.
This card is also about letting go. In this case, I sense you need to commit to your intuition and let outside influences fall away. Otherwise, your decisions won’t be your own. Consider the advice, but the final decision must be yours.
Look Through the Smoke
The next card is the Seven of Cups. This is a card of having many different options, both good and bad, but still multiple options. The reason why your intuition is being activated and why you need to commit to it is that your soul desires the option which resonates with you – not the others.
Although there may be “better” options in life, better for someone else may not be better for you. When you commit to what you don’t actually care for, your life will lack substance and there’s a good chance someone who does like your path will do it better, anyway. This makes it easier to be conquered by someone else – and you don’t want that.
Embracing your individuality and committing to your personal path through your intuition is empowering because it makes you a singular being instead of a false replicate of someone else.
Transcend and Ascend
Your final card in the spread is the Three of Pentacles. I see this card as meaning mind-body-spirit, resulting in the creation of something which transcends all dimensions through you or because of you. The reason you can’t copy someone else or not listen to your intuition is that you’re a spiritual being living a human life.
Your material human life matters, way more than a lot of spiritual people talk about, but if you only focus on the material world, you’re going to deny the parts of yourself that exist in other dimensions.
Trusting and committing through your intuition invites all of who you are into your being. And through that, something amazing will be created or experienced. You, all of you, is very, very worth it.

Pile 2: Stoic Koala
It’s Okay to Protect Yourself
With your first card being Scorpion, I sense that you need to be more aggressive in life. Perhaps you haven’t been as defensive as you should, so you’ve found yourself in a position where you’re at a disadvantage.
It may seem wrong to not be love and light all the time, but some people and some situations only hurt you. Responding without protecting yourself only creates a victim. You wouldn’t want someone you love to do this, and don’t you love yourself? Treat yourself like someone you care about.
That isn’t to say you shouldn’t forgive or that you should try and get even. Instead, embody the spirit of the Scorpion and focus your passion on what matters. And when somebody or something is harming you, strike.
Starting Over on Your Terms
The second card in your spread, the Ten of Swords, indicates that you’ve been betrayed or you’re suffering some sort of ruin. This could be a major event, like a significant other cheating on you, or a smaller event, such as running out of money this month because of storm damage. Either way, the effect, no matter how strong, is transitory. The only way to go now is up.
Your reason for being able to do this is that your Scorpion energy allows you to commit to your greater good. No longer are you going to wallow in misery: you’re going to get organized and rise from the ashes.
But be aware that you may not have as many resources as you would have if you weren’t in this position. You’re going to need to be inventive and even curious so you can find a new path forward.
You may like “starting over” even if you didn’t choose to be in this position in the first place. Choose to write the next chapter of your life.
Think Holistically
I really like the last card in your spread, The Magician, because it has an elevating effect on your being. You’re going to feel connected to a higher power, purpose, or even your higher self, and because of that, you’re going to find all the resources you need to set your life in order.
Have a multifaceted approach. This is a card of using every element: air, fire, water, and earth, so this means you should take a holistic approach to your personal success. Think rationally, be passionate, care for others, and be practical. When you do that, you’ll unite all aspects of the material world together and it will help you ascend to a higher personal plane.
But let’s not get woo here. I think a more simplistic way to describe this is the following: when you plan how to recover from your current situation, be flexible. Having a Scorpion sting doesn’t mean you can’t create a holistic foundation to rely upon. Your focus, and your preparation, are two different things. You can have a goal and then support that goal in multiple ways.

Pile 3: Dancing Koala
Become a Builder
Your first card is Spider and I sense that you need to commit to building. Not building a particular thing, but building. A Spider weaves a web, but the web is used to capture food. It can damage a web when this is done, causing the spider to rebuild it while feeding.
You need to get comfortable with the fact that some of what you build will be destroyed. However, the very fact that you commit to taking control of your destiny means that you can always use your free will to decide your future. No matter the injuries or obstacles, you will overcome them.
And to some degree, you may even be able to use these small misfortunes to empower you. What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.
Ask yourself how you can change your way of creating goals to creating routines. Do that, and you’ll find it much easier to achieve what you set out to do.
You Can Handle It All
You’re going to be able to withstand difficulties more than you used to according to the Three of Swords, Reversed card. That’s because you’re emotionally stronger. Since you can commit to building, you won’t feel defenseless or unable to respond to bad things that happen to you.
But you can also act proactively. A Spider can create very intricate homes. Trust that you can effectively plan ahead. Yes, sometimes there may be holes in your plan, but, overall, you’re always going to find yourself in a good place.
I also really thought of Charlotte’s Web when I saw your spread which featured a Spider who could weave words in her web. It’s okay to create an advanced vision for yourself. You’d be surprised how much you can commit to a project when you really decide on something. Dream big, and then work towards it with all your might.
You Are Expansive
Your final card is the Eight of Pentacles, Reversed. This is a somewhat ironic card, so I want you to see this card’s message as a reminder: just because you build doesn’t mean you have to build something perfect.
I think you may tend to be a perfectionist. This is a reasonable orientation because you have the skill to be very detailed and thorough. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which means what you see as imperfect someone else will see as perfect.
Have patience with your plans and be willing to make them good enough. That way, you can focus on something new. You can then use your skills as a builder to modify plans when an obstacle is encountered or start a new project in addition to what you’ve currently built for yourself.
Accepting that perfection isn’t necessary expands your potential projects in life.
