Reprogram Your Mind: Tarot Pick a Card
I sense that the universe needs you to alter how you think about life. These aren’t big changes, but if you make a few modifications to your life approach, you’ll be able to manifest greater abundance into your life.
All you have to do is look at the piles of cards above. Which thinking genius stands out to you the most? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading!
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Modern Witch Tarot and the Energy Oracle decks (these are affiliate links that support me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now it’s time to reprogram your mind.
Pile 1: Blue Mind
Your Calling
With your first card being Healer of the Ages, it seems like the universe needs you to act as a martyr. This is a Jesus card, but you can’t view that martyrdom as a negative or even one that leads only to suffering. Instead, see that you’re in a position of responsibility in the universe where you heal what’s been broken.
You may be a lightworker, have an important mission, or even just everyday responsibilities (such as work or children). It won’t be easy, and you’re going to have to sacrifice your comfort, but understand what this card also promises: you’ll be glorified by your work and your work will stand as a testament to your soul.
Jesus was a healer, yes, and he sacrificed himself for others, but he was also considered a king and even a god. There’s a huge creative or regnal element in your spread: you heal because you have a metaphorical kingdom at your command.
Ascension
The second card in your spread, The Magician, Reversed, indicates that you won’t be able to make immediate changes because of your sacrifice. What you’re doing now and how you’re shifting your perspective to reprogram your mind is an investment into your future.
That’s why I think a lot of you who chose this spread may be going back to school, starting a new project, or doing something where the finish line is not close at hand.
If you haven’t yet started something like this, consider your reading as a wake-up call to an investment you need to make in your future. This investment can’t be wholly selfish (unless it’s about healing yourself), but it should result in something which will elevate your prestige or position in life. Just as Jesus was resurrected and ascended into heaven, your personal act of martyrdom must have a higher purpose and manifestation in your life. This could very well be spiritual, but more likely it’s going to be of a material or social nature.
You’re Worthy
Your final card, Big Happy Family has a straightforward meaning. For many who chose this pile, the martyrdom you take on will be for your family or your future family. Parenthood is a good analogy here: mothers and fathers will sacrifice for their children and find fulfillment because of that sacrifice.
It also means your sacrifice should be an act of love, either for another person, the universe, or yourself.
I do get the sense that many who chose this pile may be pursuing a particular career, improving their appearance, or working on their social charisma. None of this is easy, but it’ll make it easier to date or improve your current relationship, turning your romantic experience into a partnership and even a home or family (whether that includes children or not).
Although this spread may sound difficult and exhausting, I don’t want you to consider it that way. Reprograming your mind to act with a martyr’s intent is something that improves the universe.
However, I also think it will improve your personal life too. You’ll be recognized by the universe for the sacrifice you make and raised to glory because of it.

Pile 2: Pink Mind
Embody the Personal Quiet
With your first card being the Goddess of the Moon, I sense that you need to spend more time introspecting. The moon is often associated with intuition and thus supernatural elements. While I think supernatural gifts can be read into your spread, when it comes to reprogramming your mind, it’s about embracing the potential of intuition. And to help you get away from thinking magically, I want you to think about the word introvert.
Everyone spends time in their head. Some even have an introverted personality. But whether or not that’s you, what the universe wants to see you do is spend more time with yourself.
I recently heard an interesting tidbit about Monday: the reason we suffer so much when the week starts on Monday isn’t just because the work week or school week has begun again, but because it’s the Moon’s day… which means we should be spending time introverting as that is the day’s energy. No wonder it’s such a struggle!
Right now, you need time for yourself because the answers you’re seeking are already within you. Paying attention to the world will only give you noise.
You Need to Change
Your second card is the Six of Cups, Reversed. When I see this card, I see that you must step away from some aspect of your past. That doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re fleeing from something bad, though that will be true for most who chose this pile, but that you’re moving on from one chapter of your life to something new.
Whether or not your past was something you want to escape from, you need to see your present and future as distinct. Those who are stuck in the past tend to be untransformed by time. I’m thinking of ghosts here: it seems like most ghosts who inhabit a home do so because they can’t move on. Ghosts could have had both happy and unhappy lives, but either way, they can’t break away from the past.
The universe doesn’t want you to haunt your past. If you do that, you’ll be dead to the present and the future. The universe will then treat you like a transparent soul with no form. It won’t have a choice because that’s what you’re acting out.
The wording here is a bit harsher than intended, but it’s all about helping you journey into a much brighter future than you have now.
You’re Brilliant
Your third card is The Sun. Did you know that the Moon is only illuminated because of the Sun? That means together, I read your first and last card as two sides of your personality. Your first card was you making peace and coming to understand who you are within. But this last card is delightfully and powerfully acting out your soul into the world.
Spending time introspecting will allow you to break away from previous patterns that no longer serve you. This will help transform you and cause you to radiate the best parts of yourself into the universe.
A lot is going on in this card and my intuition isn’t focusing on any one thing. So what I interpret that to mean is that moving forward in your life opens many doors that you can choose to walk through. Reprograming your mind and being future-oriented, or at least present-oriented instead of past-oriented, will make you more active and participate more fully in the complexity of life.
A lot of hidden joys are coming your way. You may even go on an adventure! This could be travel, but be open to inner changes too or spiritual journeys.

Pile 3: Green Mind
Slow Things Down a Bit
I see that your first card is Patience. For you, reprogramming your mind is about being less impulsive. Don’t just assume impulsivity is physical: for some who chose this pile, your impulses may be emotional, spiritual, intellectual, or even creative – basically, you don’t have the patience to see something in your life all the way through.
I was also called to the numerological meaning of this card: 16 reduces to 7, and that number means being analytical and methodical. Contemplation is important here.
But don’t assume this is patience without action. Do you see how the angel is holding a clock with flames? The time you need to be patient is both longer and shorter than you realize, but you need to take it on because it serves to bring vitality to your life.
There’s something important you need to do. But to do it, you have to stop, take a deep breath, and prepare for a divine message. I don’t know exactly what that message is here, but it’s something my intuition keeps leaning towards for you.
Authoring Your Own Life
Your next card is Three of Swords, Reversed. This is a card of clarity and healing of wounds. Most of the time, I read this with more emotional context than the card absolutely needs, but here I see the cleansing as intellectual.
Something about your mind is clouded. You’ve been overwhelmed with noise and I think this is why you’ve been drawn to be impulsive. You didn’t know how to parse through the information and experiences you had, so you saw fit to act instead.
But things are going to become a lot clearer to you. See how in this deck, the heart has the appearance of a tattoo with ink running down? I see that ink as being the spiritual ink of your life. You’re writing your destiny and are about to take a more active role.
This active role isn’t just participation, but choice. Your previous impulses had less self-determination than you would have liked and were more of a reaction. But reprogramming your mind to be more patient, at least temporarily, will allow you to act with anticipation towards a future you plan for yourself.
You Live Transcendentally
Your final card is Man Holding a Coin, and I’m so happy to see this in your spread. Because a man is on this card, I read it with forceful, masculine energy being applied to the manifestation of your goals. Your first card was more introspective and feminine, but now we have the spiritual flipside of that energy being acted out in your life.
However, even though this is a masculine card, I can’t help but see Fabio here and think of torrid historical romance covers. I interpret that allusion here to mean you’re not only manifesting your life and making decisions for yourself, but that you’re living a life that brings you joy and happiness.
What you do needs to be done with intention. Not reaction. Intention. If you do that, the sun will shine on your life and create a verdant garden everywhere you look. I won’t lie: it’s going to take some work. But because of the romantic element here, I think you’re going to enjoy the process more than you think. All you need to do to get started is to trust yourself to step back and be temporarily patient.
The universe is going to send a message your way on how to cleanse your mind appropriately and take charge. You’ll know you’ve received it when you feel absolutely certain that what you’re doing in life is right.
