What You’re Not Seeing: Tarot Pick a Card
Something is going on around you that you’re not aware of, but you need to know. This psychic tarot pick a card will help you find out what it is. I had a bit of a weird energy for this one, so make sure you’re ready for what could be a strange message for you. This reading is meant for those who feel like there’s uncertainty in their lives they can’t interpret.
All you have to do is look at the piles of cards above. Which ouija board planchette out to you the most? That’s your pile and that’s your tarot reading!
After you select your cards, scroll down to your pile or choose below.
Today I’m using the Light Seer’s Tarot and the Animal Spirit Oracle decks (these are affiliate links that support me if you make a purchase). Remember that you have free will. That means you can manifest the positive and avoid the negative of any reading.
Now let’s find out what you’re not seeing.
Pile 1: Blue Planchette
Your Animal Spirit
Your first card is Otter. This is an animal that represents joy and playfulness. It chose to appear in your spread because these are qualities you don’t have enough of in your life. Because of that, you live under a cloud that doesn’t have to exist. You can be happier than you currently are.
Life Isn’t As Enjoyable As It Could Be
The next card in your spread is The Star, Reversed. This card can indicate depression or deep sadness. Whether that’s true for you or not, there does seem to be an obstacle to your happiness in some form or fashion.
This could be a major obstacle. Some who chose this pile may be suffering from clinical depression, trauma, or unfortunate circumstances. As this is a fate card, it can seem like you’re doomed or that you’re living under a bad star.
People can often find happiness in unexpected places, but moments of happiness don’t erase true misery. For some, you’re very depressed, and for others who chose this pile, it refers to a particular area of your life that you can’t improve no matter what you do. Yeah, you’re happy sometimes, but not most of the time.
That’s because you’re very connected to the sequence of events that have led you to this moment in your life. See how the woman in the card is tethered to a string? That’s your string of fate.
However, while your current fate may seem fixed and disappointing, it doesn’t always have to be that way. You have free will, and while certain events can be overpowering, you can react or act in such a way that gives you autonomy.
Seeing the Otter in your spread, I’m reminded of playing a game. Every game has rules. Right now, you either don’t know the rules or you’re losing despite knowing the rules. It may be time to try a different game.
You’ll Have Power
Your last card, the Strength, Reversed, explains what you need to do to change your current circumstances in your favor. This is a card of powerlessness, lack of control, and low self-worth. But what you need to know about this card is that the strong person is not the lion, but the woman.
Women in tarot represent an inner, emotional power, so that means it’s all about inner strength. You don’t change your circumstances by going to war or attacking things head-on. And in this particular deck, the artist has chosen to illustrate the lion as the beast within the woman partnered with a lamb.
A lamb as a symbol stands in for Jesus and Jesus was a sacrificial hero. But even though he sacrificed himself, he rose from the dead. In other words, you need to kill the part of yourself which is causing you to feel weak and then embark on a journey of self-improvement by doing the right things. You must have faith like a child that this can be done even against insurmountable odds.
The Otter wants you to see that you’re going to turn your world upside down and change the game to be your rules. And then, you can have some fun again. Your worries will fall away and you will enter into what feels like paradise.

Pile 2: Pink Planchette
Your Animal Spirit
The first card in your spread is the animal spirit that represents what you’re not seeing. The Elephant symbolizes very good things, such as wisdom, good fortune, and an unstoppable nature. But this animal can also be stubborn and put obstacles in your path. You may be feeling as if you’re hitting a wall and you don’t know why. You think you’re doing the right thing – so what gives?
You Need Flow
Because of the other two cards in your spread, I read that this obstacle is about obscuring some sort of path you’re trying to go down which won’t serve you and isn’t in your best interest.
You have free will, but it seems like you’re misinformed about some aspects of your current direction. If you had all the facts, you would understand that this direction or some part of your goal isn’t a fit for what you truly want. However, you’re blind to this in some way and you’re unable to currently break out of that.
So really think over the next two cards carefully.
The second card is Ten of Cups. This is a card of domestic bliss or an extreme flow state. Your life is meant to have meaning in your daily experiences, whether that’s with your family or work. Things are supposed to feel right on a daily basis.
That’s not to say you won’t have stress. Parents who love their children can find certain ages or events annoying or sad. And someone who loves their job does have bad days.
However, overall you should feel as if your day-to-day experience is fluid and without walls that you constantly have to jump over just to survive. You should be able to delight and find meaning from the small stressors of your life and not be needlessly overwhelmed.
Right now it seems like you’re ignoring a common obstacle in your life which is going to be way more problematic down the road than you realize. It will get worse. You won’t be able to handle it forever.
The Truth Is Within
The last card in your spread is the Eight of Cups, Reversed. This is a card of return. You made a decision in your past which was the wrong one. Perhaps you broke up with someone, you chose the wrong job, or you pursued a lifestyle that turned out not to make you happy.
Some aspect of you needs to return to the person you were in the past. Of course, you may not be able to have everything you had previously, but you can embody that person you were before into your current self and integrate these two beings into one being. That shared wisdom will help you to carve out a life of true flow.
You’re not seeing that your life can be a lot better and easier than it is right now.
I hope your life is already good and it could just be wonderfully better, but if you’re really struggling, know that you have the wisdom and life experiences to help you make a future you’ll be happy with. Just don’t ignore who you were in the past as an inferior person. They knew a thing or two – and an elephant never forgets.

Pile 3: Green Planchette
Your Animal Spirit
Your first card symbolizes what you’re not seeing. Here we have the Owl. You may already be familiar with the idea of knowledge, though realize that this animal represents something more transcendent and mysterious than that. You’re missing some aspect of your spiritual connection and special gift that could bring a lot of clarity and abundance into your life.
Open Yourself to Mystery
If you’re reading this tarot pick a card, you’ve probably already begun your spiritual journey or you’re about to. That’s why the message behind your second card, Ace of Wands, Reversed, is so important. You’ve established a ghost of the connection you should have, but you’re not manifesting that connection into your life.
In other words, you may feel as if you’re blocked from accessing certain spiritual truths. This is likely one of the clairs (like clairvoyance) or understanding of a particular spiritual text. Either way, you don’t know how you can proceed because something you want very much is currently being denied to you.
The first thing I want to say is that you can’t look at spirituality as if it’s something earthly or material. It can manifest in the physical world and often does, but it transcends any physical body and has powerful soul qualities which you can’t experience through your five senses alone.
One of the traits of spirituality is awe, and people who are more likely to experience awe are more open to experiences and comfortable not arriving at a singular, particular conclusion. I have this problem. I want the one right answer to everything.
That doesn’t work for spirituality.
Now this doesn’t mean you can’t experiment or try things out. However, you always have to be open to being wrong (like a true scientist).
Only then will you be able to truly go on your spiritual journey. It’s not a short trip where you open a door and you’re suddenly there. It’s continuous. It’s open-ended.
You’re Going to Be Different
So in essence, you need to get comfortable with not seeing things as you’re currently seeing them. Your last card, Seven of Cups, features a man gazing at a misty scene. Some cups have treasures. Some cups have perils. It’s easy to get confused.
I want you to recognize that your hesitation and block can actually be a good thing. It’s going to help you practice spiritual discernment so you can adequately evaluate different spiritual activities and only incorporate the ones which will help you grow.
Not every spiritual opportunity is useful to you and some can often be terrible for most (a lot of spiritual people avoid ouija boards on principle). However, that there are so many options to begin with means you have a lot of choices and can use your preference.
Let’s say it’s possible to develop a psychic gift of seeing ghosts. You may not want that – which is okay. Don’t feel pressured to go down a certain path just because other spiritual people are doing it. You can focus your path instead of taking every path. We’re not all the same – and you’re going to have your own unique journey too.
